As the day wore on, a woman entered the hideout, holding a child to her chest. He had been a very good little boy the entire trip, and the woman gently rubbed his back. Father of her's would be so pleased with her success!
Not even acknowledging the prisoners in their ropes and chains, the woman disappeared into the opposite side of the room's darkness. Down a flight of stairs to the Blood Room. Father of her's was most likely there right now while the vampire rested.
She had glimpsed him, surprised at his elegance. But most vampires were elegant. Deceiving. Evil. This woman was pure and held a gift for her Mother.
When she entered the room, she was welcomed by her family, but, especially, Father. He congratulated her for collecting the child as instructed. He was so pleased, which made the woman smile with pride.

((Down in the Blood Room. The captives will not be likely to hear what is going on down here. Maybe some things, but not all.)) The man was beaming as he took the child from the woman, "Thank you Daughter of mine," he said as he examined the little one. He was perfect. This was the child that Wife of his requested to be delivered to her. And, here he was. Little Lior, child of Yuan Trinity. Such power and potential! It was no wonder that Wife of his wanted this child so badly. She was always so eager for things that seemed to promise such power.
He turned, child in arms, and approached a silver inlaid door, with beautiful designs carved into its surface. He opened the heavy doors and entered, alone, as was usual when he visited Wife of his. Inside, there was a figure, chained with more chains than even Arachnid was in. It shifted slightly at the door opening, looking up with violet eyes that glowed through the darkness.
The man smiled, placing the child down, "Daughter of ours brought the child like you requested, Wife of mine," he bowed his head and backed of the room, closing the doors as he did. Whatever the woman wanted with the child, only she knew. He and the rest of The Family were just partly servants to Wife of his. Of course, there was an agreement of sorts.
He turned to face The Family members, waiting there for instructions, "When night falls, we should feed our guests," he smiled, cruelly as he approached a table with a case of vials on it. He pulled one out and uncorked it. A light filled the room and he smirked, "This time, Arachnid should try some mermaid... let's see what sort of product that produces," he re-corked the vial, filling the room with dimness again, and then put it back where it was before.

((Time Skip! It is now sun down!)) Arachnid awoke, immediately remembering his predicament. The chain around his neck burned, but now it was a dull pain, not really bothering him, as long as he didn't force himself against them. If he tried to yank his head away, it would definitely hurt. He knew that silver hurt him and vampires, but he was just finding out that it seemed to hurt werewolves just as much. In fact, the students were having trouble keeping calm and not hurting themselves; the scent of their blood filled the air.
He looked at the students, "Are you guys awake?" he whispered, trying not to speak too loudly, otherwise nutcase may come back. Then he looked over to his right and did a double-take, "Is that... a centaur?" his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. This man loved his magical creatures, it seemed...
Where was Strike? Arachnid knew that he should have found him already. Even when Arachnid had gotten a small cut, Strike had been there in an instant. He should know where he was, right? That was how it worked... but, if he did, why wasn't he here yet? Arachnid looked up to the ceiling, seeing nothing but darkness beyond the light.
They were stuck in this horrible hell until Strike came to their rescue.

Her stomach growled... she hadn't eaten since the closing feast at Hogwarts. "Mr. Terran? I-I can't do it any more... I can't be brave..." she whispered. She was starving, and her body was burning in silvery flames. She tugged weakly on her chains again, still wanting to be free. ℋeather ℋawthorn❀ℱourth ϒear❀ℋufflepuff ℬeater❀ ℋalf~ℬlood❀Heather and DhylanSehza ℋeather was asleep. Though, it was not a peaceful sleep. Her dreams were haunted with terrors of this place, as well as memories from home. She found herself waking constantly, mumbling random names that had some meaning in her life, even if it was just the slightest bit of meaning. She heard noises, voices, which woke her up completely. She looked around the room, trying to find some clue as to what time it was, how long they had been trapped here, what day it was even. "What... What time is it?" she asked, though she figured no one would answer her. No one had responded to her at all while she was here. She hated being so ignored. As if she was nothing, not of importance. Still facing the vampire from the events of the previous day(?), she nodded to Mr. Terran. "I'm awake... now. There is a centaur here now?" she asked. She couldn't turn around to see if there really was a four legged, two armed creature with them. "So they've captured another victim..." What they would do to the poor creature, she didn't want to think about.

 ❋ Sagittarius ❋ Centaur _________ ___________________ ____________________________
Stupid chains, Sagi thought. Even as she tugged and tugged, these chains were too strong to be broken like that. Not even rusted, these shackles. Although futile, Sagi didn't want to be the damsel in distress; She wanted to do something herself, for once. I wonder how Imara is, right now... Worried? Angry? Disappointed that the teen couldn't take care of herself?
Sagittarius sighed. With the mumble of words and the sound of other chains echoing through this claustrophobic room, she knew the others had awaken. "No, I'm a half goat, half human hybrid," Sagi sarcastically said, in respond to the man's question. "Of course I'm a centaur. And I'm in a really bad mood." To inflict such torture on not one, but six creatures... This was a sin that would forever haunt these evil beings, whoever they were. "Why are these people keeping so many captives..." Sagi asked, her voice calm and quieter than that of her usual.

As if right on cue the man emerged from the dark, "Yes, why are we keeping so many captives, dear Arachnid? Surely you have figured it out by now?" he smiled with the knowledge that he had that he kept to himself. Surely, however, this vampire had figured it out. Surely he wasn't this dense, was he? Perhaps another example was necessary?
With a snap of his fingers, the shadowy figures shifted, three of them appearing from their hiding places in the shadows. Together, they each moved in front of a student. In one hand they had a bowl of warm chicken soup and, in the other, a spoon to feed the children with. They began their duty, attempting to feed the girls.
Another figure approached the centaur, holding a bag. It was careful not to get too close, knowing just how devastating a kick from a centaur - even a young one - could be. It dumped the contents of the bag at the centaur's feet, revealing four shiny red apples for the creature to eat.
While all this was happening, the man waved his wand and removed the invisible barrier he had placed on the mermaid's tub. Another stranger approached the tub and dropped a good number of small crustaceans in for the mermaid to eat.
He looked back at Arachnid, who had not been brought anything yet, "Come on, give me your best guess, vampire," the man taunted, approaching ever so slowly, but staying far enough away that the vampire's bite couldn't reach.

♫ Feeling: Terrified. ♫ Company: A man, Mr. Terran, Remy, and Heather. ♫ What I'm thinking: Calm down. ♫ What am I doing; Waiting. ♫ Dating: Samuel Meridith. Caitlin jumped when the Centaur yelled. She didn't dare answer her questions, fearing she had the wrong answers. Then a woman with a baby walked in. They had a BABY? After a while, Mr. Terran woke up. "Can't sleep, sir," She said, then heard Remy say she couldn't be brave. She couldn't blame her. She had lost her will to be brave before they fell asleep. Caitlin couldn't help but wonder if people were even looking for them. Who would be interested in the case anyway? Three teenage girls, a vampire, a baby, a centaur, and a mermaid. Okay, maybe that would interest some people, but how many would actually look. Probably a few.

When the mermaid touched him, the vampire felt eased, even just slightly. She believed in him, at least. These children were afraid, but they all were. All of them were young. Arachnid and the mermaid might be the eldest in the room, and he had to be strong, for all of them. Even though he was terrified of what was going on, terrified for the safety of the people around him. This included The Family. When Strike found them, they would know the meaning of terror.
Arachnid looked up at the man, daggers in his gold eyes, "You're a sick man," he spat, but then smirked, "But you have heard stories of Strike, haven't you?" Arachnid saw a flash of fear in the man's eyes and continued, "The vampire with no maker. No master. The council member that was crueler than the sun on his very skin. He holds nothing back. A weapon, a force that has no mercy because he was never taught,"
The smirk turned sinister, Arachnid finally realizing something. Something so vital, it slapped him in the face, "You fear Strike, because he does not fear you. He is the force you try to create your Family on, but you cannot recreate the original," Arachnid laughed, knowing he had hit the nail on the head. Of course... it was beginning to make sense!

ℋeather ℋawthorn❀ℱourth ϒear❀ℋufflepuff ℬeater❀ ℋalf~ℬlood❀Heather and DhylanSehza ℋeather heard the voice of the centaur. She sounded highly annoyed, and maybe a little scared. But, they were all scared, weren't they? Turning her head as far as she could, she tried to steal a glance of the creature, but found that she could not. Then, the man returned, the one called Father. He snapped his fingers, a sign Heather quickly figured out was a signal that something would happen. Soon, a figure was in front of her. She looked up at the person, if that was what she could call it, and glared at it. Did he have a knife? A wand? Was he going to kill her now? Or slowly make her bleed out to torture the vampire? But he had and did none of these things. In his hands were a bowl of soup and a spoon. They were... feeding them? "I see you want us alive then." she said, glancing to the Father character. Remy started freaking out about the soup and began shouting again. Heather rolled her eyes, becoming just as annoyed with her sister as the centaur was with the whole situation. "Rem, just shut up and eat. We know you like to scream at people, but it is honestly starting to get old. Why not save your energy and eat the food these people have so graciously provided for us." she said. She usually wasn't like this, but desperate times called for desperate measures. Even if it meant yelling at her sister to just shut the hole under her nose. Turning her attention back to the man in front of her, she opened her mouth, awaiting the food he tempted her with. Her stomach was ready to eat itself from the inside out. The minion fed her spoon after spoon of the soup, slowly, making her more hungry. As soon as it was gone, she turned her attention to Mr. Terran and the man who bossed everyone around. She wasn't sure what they were talking about, so she listened, hoping to gain some knowledge on this situation.

Sagittarius thought for a second that the apples were poisonous. But seeing how they were feeding the other captives, and that they were fine, Sagi thought that perhaps they were fine. Though she was still swimming in a pool of grumpiness. Even so, she found it amusing how the person who gave her the apples stood outside of her kicking range. Were they afraid?
"What are you afraid of!?" Sagi taunted the shadowy creature. "Come closer! I want to break your face," she spat.

The man smirked as his henchmen finished feeding most of the prisoners. Then, the three that had been in charge of feeding the girls approached the werewolf pup. One held her head, the other pried open her mouth, and the other poured the now cold liquid down her throat. Even though he wanted to watch, he decided to put his attention on the vampire in front of him.
"You think that Strike is coming for you?" he laughed coldly, "If that's the case, then where is he? I see no elder vampire here..." the man looked around, the evil grin on his face. His eyes focused on Arachnid, grasping at the chain around Arachnid' neck, tugging it to the side. His head could do nothing but follow, "In fact. At this very moment, we're fairly certain that Strike is dead," he leaned in to Arachnid's ear, whispering, "The final death,"
With that, the man leaned away and turned his back on Arachnid, letting the words, the truth, sink in. "Good job eating, today girls. Hope your wounds will heal nicely," Soup laced with vampire blood had to be the greatest thing the chef had thought about.
The man disappeared into the shadows, sure that his victory was now sealed.
