"I like scarelings," Siddie agreed. "Is it hard to swim like this?"

Sammy moved to follow after the other two looking to the side bashfully before mumbling almost too quietly to hear about something like one or maybe two scarlings as she followed the two mares.

Calder's ears turned back. "What was that Sammy?" He asked. Mare Sammy. She had hearing, but luckily not enough to hear what the undead said.
Moving along, she headed to the river down a small hill. "Swimming is easy. You float and all you do is kick out our legs." Of course Calder could do well for hours under water without coming back up to the surface.
The stream was cool and clear with Autumn leaves falling down on it's surface before floating down. Racing over, Calder just sprang off a rock and jumped in, sending water splashing all about. A little later, she bobbed back up, kicking all 4 legs. "It's nice." Nice and cold.

Siddie didn't catch what Sammy had said, but she glanced back curiously when Calder asked, flicking an ear in Sammy's direction.
Calder jumped straight into the water, but Siddie was more cautious. She found a shallow spot and picked her way carefully in, letting the water flow around her legs. "This feels nice," she admitted, and waded in slowly until the water rose to her knees. There she folded her legs, kneeling down awkwardly and dipping her belly in the water.

Meanwhile Sammy stayed on the shore, she wasn't a horse and she still had her clothes on. She didn't exactly feel like getting them soaked or stripping down with Calder around. Siddie sure, but nope, not around Calder all her nope.
Instead she found a nice rock sticking out into the river for herself to climb taking a seat to watch them before frowning, she didn't have a watch, she had no clue how long this had been going on, she tugged the Reins from out of her jacket frowning deeply at them.
"Worst idea ever..."

Siddie was getting a little more comfortable. At least, she thought, if she had to stay like this, she could apparently get used to it. She didn't want to, but she could. She leaned her head down to sip from the stream. The cool water tasted good. There was a a sort of pop as air rushed back into the space that a horse body had occupied a moment ago. Then there was a splash and a garbled shriek as Siddie flailed back up to her feet - two feet, humanoid again and entirely naked. There was another shriek as Siddie realized that she was naked, and she sat down in the water again hastily, crossing her arms over her chest. Not that anyone could see any details, considering that her whole body was inky shadow black, and not that anyone was looking who would care, considering that Sammy had already seen everything and Calder wasn't into ghouls, but it was the principle of the thing. Then it sank in that she wasn't a horse anymore. "Sammy!" she exclaimed. "I'm back to normal!"

When Siddie changed, Calder just sank in the water, saddened that his pony friend was gone. Seeing as Siddie was back, he shifted back to his humaniod form and floated in the water, looking over at her. Siddie being nude wasn't anything odd to him as his family took baths in the lake together as did many kelpies in his clan, but he was intrigued at how her body looked. It wasn't like normal kelpies, considering it was shadow.
Maybe staring a bit too openly, he smiled at her. "Congrats....I guess. I mean it's good you're back." Though he did like having a friend to run around with. He sure missed having other equines around.

Sammy remained on her rock waiting quietly, she was in no mood for swimming for a while she waited watching the two mares quietly. She looked up for a while enjoying the sky waiting until her idle thoughts where cut by a sudden pop and a squeaking splash.
Looking down she found not two mares, but Siddie and a white horse splashing about, and Siddie as she left a ruined outfit was naked in the water. On one hand Sammy couldn't help but grin. Shadow boobies! Then she noticed Calder staring.
"Seaweeeeeed!" His nickname was a low whine as Sammy scrambled to the waters edge grabing a clump of dirt to toss at the Kelpie. "Stop staring at my ghoulfriend when she's naked Jack Dammit that's for my eyes only you Creeper Kelpie!" She was laughing a bit as she said it, mostly relieved the Reins effects could ware off. "C'mon Sid, you can use my jacket, we'll get you back to your dorm or mine and we can find you something to wear alright?"

Siddie looked over at Calder, distracted from her indignation at her nudity by the tone of his voice. He sounded ... sad? She made her way over to the bank of the stream, accepting Sammy's jacket, then ventured, "We know it's not permanent now ... maybe we can run again sometime. When I have spare clothes ready," she added sternly, and cuddled up to Sammy, tugging the jacket closed.

Calder was hit with a wad of dirt and fell back into the water. It took a moment for him to bob back up, wiping his face. "I just wanted to see what she looked like." He pouted. "I've only seen other girl kelpies before." He glanced back at Siddie, but then looked away since it made Sammy uncomfortable.
At Siddie's assurance that she might play again, he beamed. "Id love to race with you. Oh, and you too, Sammy! You should try them!" He was all for Sammy's new power which, in a way, was like a present to him. "Can you use it on Barth?!"

"You mean in horse form?" Siddie asked curiously. Then she giggled. "I'm sure you can find pictures of naked ghouls on the interwebs, if you want to know," she suggested mischievously. "You should ask Barth first," she asserted sternly. "No surprises."

"What's the difference? Kelpies have the same bits don't they? They just don't look like living shadows. You've seen Siddie's arm you've seen what she looks like you don't need to see what the rest looks like!" She pouted just a bit wrapping the jacket around Siddie tugging her in close protective arms around her ghoulfriend kissing her on the top of the head.
"Well racing might be fine and I don't know if I would use them on myself yet, I don't even know if it would work since I own them and stuff. I read these artifacts link to the person who found them."
Again she looked down at Siddie raising an eyebrow, "Is this why you don't let me use your laptop Siddie...?" Wandering fingers slipped between her jackets folds tickling Siddie's sides grinning. "AS FOR PILLOWS.... Maybe. When I feel like it. Most likely when he's being no fun and I want to make him fun."

Calder pouted as he swam his way to shore, stepping out and shaking his tail and then squeezing water out of his jacket. "I know what ghouls look like. I just wondered if .." He shrugged. "Demons had stuff other demons might like....instead of what monsters have." He looked away, not wanting to think that a naked Siddie might be more alluring to Barth since she was a demon and he wasn't.
He looked back at Siddie. "Oh, well you should have fun with him. I think I would love to play with him when he's a horse. I've always wondered what he'd look like as a stallion." He smiled at the thought, flushing as he couldn't help but smile. "A stallion with horns." The idea alone had him feeling warm.
Shaking it off, he turned to them both. "But thank you for letting me play with you both. I haven't had another horse around in a while to run with it. I missed it a lot."

"H-hey!" Siddie squeaked and squirmed, blushing a deep purple at what Sammy was implying. "I share my games with you," she pouted. She gave Calder a puzzled look, then a more understanding one. "I don't know what demon bits are like either," she said. "I've only got monster bits myself." She elbowed Sammy lightly. "And a passing familiarity with zombie bits," she teased. She smiled at Calder again. "Then I'll have to come play horses with you again." She understood isolation and homesickness, and she was starting to feel like maybe she could be friends with Calder. This would be a good way to know him a little better.

"You'll have to show me these games again Siddie~" Terrible tormenting ghoulfriend was back in a flashnow that it was confirmed Siddie wasn't a pony forever. Still she did it all out of love for Siddie and the deep purple blush was rewarded with a kiss on each side of Siddie's neck.
"Well I mean, Calder, you've seen Siddie in her fancy clothes she has all the same curves and bumps most ghouls have, it's not like she has a natural form that would make her crazy different." She only chuckled though at the mention of zombie bits, "You know them well enough Sid, not at all different from yours." Poke on the butt cheek between the split in her jackets back? Check.
"Really though Calder, if you want Pony time, I'm sure we can use the Reins again, for now though I need to figure out a way to store them and carry them without looking like I'm some crazy Horse Ghoul."
