About to open her mouth to tell him she was okay she quickly shut it again and looked at Shun curiously. "Carry me? Like a piggy back ride?" How could she pass that up? "They are a little cold." She admitted, pulling her foot up just above the snow to look at. The visible skin looked a little red but beyond that nothing sever.

Shun furrowed his brow for the moment. He was thinking of just carrying her normally in his arms but... having her on his back would work too. Why the hell was it called a piggy back ride though? Were pigmen the first to do such things? Looking towards her legs, he saw that she was a little red there.
"Yes I'll carry you. Better to keep your feet warm and dry if possible."
It still wasn't really an answer to if it was a piggy back. He'd see what she'd do first.

As soon as Shun said he would carry her Mitsu smiled and moved a bit closer. Shuffling around so that she was behind him she waited until he kneel a little before she made an attempt to climb on. It was actually nice having her feet out of the snow and being pressed up against Shun kept her front nice and warm.
"I like this," Mitsu said as she rested her chin on his shoulder. "You should give me a piggy back ride more often."

Since she had moved behind him, Shun went ahead and crouched down so she could climb on more easily without having to jump on his back. Lifting her up carefully, he hooked his arms under her legs to help make sure she was in place.
As he felt her chin on his shoulder, he turned his head to try and look to Mitsu.
"You like this?"
He was trying to figure out why that was. Blinking as he thought about that, he began to make his way towards the monster dorms with her in tow.

"I do," Wrapping her arms comfortably around his shoulders she rested there, lazily watching the scenery go by as Shun made his way to the monster dorms. "Its pretty relaxing."
She nuzzled against his neck before she settled down and remained still. It didn't take too long to get to the monster dorms but Mitsu wasn't quite ready to be put on her feet. She liked where she was.

His expression softened at that. Well if she found it relaxing then perhaps he could carry her around more like this. It wasn't difficult to do or anything like that. Nodding to her, Shun entered the dorm and noticed that Mitsu wasn't really moving to hop off his back. Alright. He could carry her a little longer.
And so he brought her to her room. And it was then that he carefully let go of her legs so that she could slide off his back.
She was going to need to get down to pick up what she wanted after all.

It had been nice being carried around but soon they were at her door and Mitsu supposed the ride was over. More so because Shun let go of her legs so that she could slide off. Removing herself from his back she stood on her own feet and let them into her room. Milo was there to greet them as they entered, the little foxfire bounding around their feet, circling below Shun as Mitsu moved to the closet and pulled out two boxes, each wrapped in a silvery patterned paper and tied up with a dark blue ribbon. One was a decent size while the other was semi-small.
"I...actually wanted to give you this one before we left on our trip but they hadn't come in yet." She handed him the larger box first. Inside he would find a nice pair of leather boots. They looked like they were made for extreme wear but the insides were soft and comfortable.
"And this is what I got you for Christmas." She handed him the smaller box immediately after and waited for him to open both to see if he would like it. The second box was what she considered an odder gift but with as much stress as Shun had gone through Mitsu thought he needed some time to relax. Inside the second box he would find several types of massage oil, a green tea blend with other herbs to promote relaxation, and some lightly scented incense to burn. "I thought it might help you relax. I can give you massages to help ease your muscles after training."

"How are your feet?" he asked while eyeing her legs, though Mitsu had gone to fetch what she wanted to grab. He was a little surprised to see the wrapped gifts, though he soon gazed to her with a softened expression.
"You didn't have to get me anything," he said quietly before taking them. He looked them over, then unwrapped the larger box first. Within he found a rather nice pair of boots. Ones that would help keep his feet protected, as well as warm in colder areas. His current shoes were getting pretty worn so a new pair definitely was going to be needed soon anyway.
"These look very useful," he commented softly, approving of her selection. Perhaps he could wear them on the way back to his room. But for now, he went on to the second gift, carefully unwrapping it. At first he wasn't too sure what all the contents were, but he soon realized, aside from the tea, there was some incense. The third item he realized what it was when Mitsu mentioned massages. A faint smile touched upon his lips as he looked up from the contents towards his lycan.
"I would love that. I already enjoy your massages as is. Thank you, Mitsu," he said before stepping in and kissing her gently on the lips. He couldn't imagine it was easy finding things for him, given his general non materialistic nature, but she had managed to gather some things that he'd enjoy anyway. There was also the fact that she had gone out of her way to find him these things. It made him feel rather happy inside, even if it didn't entirely show outwardly.
"I have something for you as well," he whispered while carefully wrapping his arms around her, "But we need to go back to my place first."

"My feet are fine," Mitsu assured. Waiting patiently for Shun to unwrap his gifts, Mitsu eyed his expression hoping to pick up on how he felt about the gifts.
It was a relief that he could use the boots and even more so when he seemed to like the second gift. Smiling she leaned into the kiss he offered, wrapping her arms around his waist. "You are welcome, Happy Christmastival."
She tilted her head slightly when he said he had a gift for her too. "Me too?" Her eyes lit up excitedly and she nodded. "Alright. Do you want to go now?"

"Happy Christmastival to you too," he whispered before nodding to her, "Let me put on the new boots first."
And so Shun took a moment to change out his shoes. He figured he may as well put the new ones to use. They were rather comfortable too, which was very good. Testing them out by taking a few steps around, he noticed that they weren't too heavy or clunky. He was still able to step quietly, which was definitely a plus.
"Perfect."
Putting the other items back into their box,he prepared to carry them then turned towards his lycan.
"Would.. you like me to carry you again?"
Her feet may still be chilled after all.

She was happy to find that the boots were a good fit. Finding just the right pair hadn't been easy. It had been a lot of researching online trying to determine the most comfortable verses durable. Finding the best of two worlds wasn't easy and she knew Shun would likely use them a lot. They had to be suitable for running, jumping, and...well...other things.
Once his new shoes were on and his things gathered Mitsu had actually started for the door to leave when he offered to carry her again. She was perhaps a little too excited as she moved back toward him ready to climb on again. Like she was going to say no.

Shun let her climb on, making sure she was all set, then went on to head back towards his place. He took his time, being in no particular rush to make his way back to his room. Mitsu enjoyed the ride after all, and wasn't a bad feeling having her on his back like this. But still, the dorm wasn't too far off, so it didn't take too long before they were inside the reaper dorm.
Up the stairs they went and once on the fourth floor, he soon noticed an odd package sitting outside of his room. Furrowing his brow, he stopped by the thing. It had an odd shape about it. And the wrapping job was sloppy too. Perhaps someone left it at the wrong room?
"..Mitsu what does the tag say?"

The ride back to the reaper dorms was nice and Mitsu found it was quite enjoyable keeping her feet out of the snow. Perhaps she would have to invest in a pair of boots just for this time of year. Still, it wasn't long before they were at the reaper dorms and as they approached Shun's room Mitsu couldn't help but notice the large and oddly wrapped package in front of Shun's door as well. Climbing down she investigated.
"It says....to Shun from Danny. Danny? The ghoul in music club?" Mitsu's brows furrowed a little and she couldn't help but stare at the package. She hadn't really seen Shun hang out with Danny so she wasn't entire sure why she had gotten him a gift. Especially something rather large. "It looks like a giant chicken leg by the way its wrapped.....what is it?"

The Reaper furrowed his brow at this, looking at Mitsu curiously. He had no idea what it was either. Opening his door, he went on inside with the strange package, then went on to unwrap it. Shun was rather surprised to find a shiny new acoustic guitar within.
"..."
It looked like a high end guitar too.
"...."
Shun was now.... Deeply confused as to why he received this, especially since he didn't really talk to the fire demon all that much. It was a nice gift to say in the least, but... he never even played around Danny on-- oh. Wait. Was this just another way of asking him to play his guitar?
"........."
This was an awfully expensive hint for something like that.
"................"
He wasn't really sure how to feel about this.

Moving into the room after Shun, Mitsu waited for him to unwrap the gift. Her eyes went a little wide looking at the guitar. It looked like a really nice instrument, no doubt expensive. But why would she have given it to him? It confused the lycan, not to mention...it made her feel like her gift wasn't quite up to par. She frowned looking a little sad.
"Its....a nice guitar..." She said softly.
