WHY?! Why was this so hard? Losing a bit of hope, Oasis looked on, where were theses freaking items? And why couldn't she find them? With a small sigh, she looked around, and continued on with what she had. So far, she was halfway there, but that would hardly be enough to help her pass, she would need at least something else to help her. She didn't have her clothes, nor did she had her weapons to fight with, this exam was just getting more and more boring. The fact that her own team mate abandoned her, or that pack of wolves that proctor said that would help her was no where to be seen. She was completely on her own. Completely.

The huge tree was in sight, and immediately, Nova knew just what it was that her team mates were thinking. Taking shelter in there would definitely make things better. Not the mention the fact that it would give cover from the wind that was picking up, it seems a storm was on it's way. But, something Nova picked up, the wind was warm. For some strange reason, in the middle of all this cold, it was warm. She noted it, but turned her attention back to the tree in front of her. Taking a small look around it, she noticed the root were firm, the branches were sturdy and almost large enough to hold a sumo wrestler. With a small frown, Nova went back to her team mates. And just in time to notice Axis has found one of their items. With a expressionless face, Nova nodded. But went back to looking around the tree. Then, something caught her eye. It was another ninja from another team. Or rather, this girl was on a team of her own. Her purple eyes met Nova's green ones as the two were locked in a stare down. Nova simply glared, and soon she was off, while laughing. Her laugh echoed off the trees, but soon Nova's earlier suspicions came to life. Deeper in the forest, she saw it. The largest forest fire she has ever seen, and it was coming their way.
"Well, look at that. Looks like we got a situation on our hands." Nova said to her team mates. Nova was completely calm, her mind has already run over all the conclusions and situations. She has already thought of many plans to stop this, but can her team mates?

Her hawk soared above them, surveying the area all around them. Who knows, maybe the hawk could help them find their missing items. One thing was ceratin though, they needed to find their items. Time was against them, something Micha never really worried about. Time didn't affect her pyhsically. She couldn't age being a vampire, and the cold air did nothing to her. Her body is always as cold as the air was currently. Though admittedly she enjoyed the snow the most over all of the other weather conditions. She looked over to each of her partners and looked at them carefully. They didn't know who or what she truly was. The same goes for them, she had no idea who or what they were. They were shrouded in mystery. She had no idea what they were capable of combat and non-combat related.
The screech of her hawk interrupted her train of thought. "Oh?" She said out loud, but not speaking to either of her partners. She then turned to them and smiled. "There is something buried in the snow this way." She said as she pointed north. "Maybe it is one of our items, we should check it out."

Kami was excited to find the shelter, the chill in the air was finally starting to affect her. She stopped before the massive tree and looked up in awe of its natural beauty. It brought a smile to her face to see something as magnficent as this tree. It must have been hundreds and hundreds of years old. Generations past any human beings life span. She glanced over at Nova who was examining the tree. It appeared she was doing this to check out its durability, and to see if it would be suitable for them to seek refuge in. Then her eyes glanced to her right to see what Axis was doing. "Where is Axis...." No sooner then she said that she watched Axis smack face first in to the tree. Kami cringed as he impacted and quickly rushed to him to help him up out of the snow. She was trying her best to stifle her laughter, the tree was massive. How he didn't see it was a complete mystery. "Are you-" A small laugh escaped her lips as her hand quickly shot up to her mouth trying to keep the laughter plugged in side. She cleared her throat and looked down in to his blue eyes. "Are you okay?" She asked him in a concerned tone. As comical as the scene was she still wanted to make sure he didn't sustain any injuries.
But with no notice he rushed in to the opening of the tree. Kami walked to the entrance slowly trying to peek inside wondering why he would rush in there without speaking. Was he embarassed? Or perhaps he had a concusion and was confused? "Axis....?" He popped out holding something shiny in his hand. It was the Kage Amulet! Both of her teammates have found an item, so now only one item remained. "Great job Axis!" She looked over to Nova and noticed her standing motionless, staring at something in the forest. That's when Kami noticed the ninja that stood not to far off in the distance. Kami rushed to Nova's side, just in case the ninja would attempt to attack Nova. But that wasn't the case. Instead the ninja quickly moved away from them leaving just a sinister laugh behind.
"Nova are you okay? Who was that?" She said hoping Nova had some answers, even though she probably knew as much as Nova did about her. But the ninja apparently left behind more then just the laugh. A large forest fire was close to them. She could smell the smoke, they were lucky there was snow on the ground and covering the trees or the entire forest would have been erupted. "We have to do something to stop this." But what? They would have to act fast or there would be no time to save the forest, and all those who were in side of it.

As they ran Roro starting getting to work on crafting a weapon for himself. He had a few decent thickness branches and a triangular shaped rock. He also managed to find that bit of bark that made him think of a mask. He just needed string and then he could craft something nice. "For a Daimyo you have in mind to manifest something marvelous. But also as a Daimyo you are destined to fail in that endeavor with such few supplies," Juubi states. He had been meaning not to bother Roro, but he could never resist the urge to insult or belittle someone. The pinked haired teen just smiles and continues idly thinking of a way to bind the items. He is soon pulled out of focus when he hears the hawk's screech as they travel deeper and deeper into the Hidden Leaf forest. He waits for Micha to translate, as he had no idea what the sound could mean, and seems to tense his body in preparation for an attack. When it is made clear that the hawk seems to have located an item of theirs Roro stops fiddling with his items. And as soon as Micha mentions 'check it out' Roro takes it as a task and increases his speed.
He holds his items in one hand and pumps his other in an effort to change course and to seek out the item in question. He doesn't overtake the hawk and only passes by Micha by a few bounds. "I believe I've found the object the hawk may have spotted," Roro calls out to the others. He stops for a moment and crouches down. He pries the object from the snow and hard ground before waiting for the others to either stop or pass him by. He would simply show them the Wolf's tooth and then wait for Micha to lead so he could fall back in line and follow. They would have ample time to stop leaving them time enough to search for anything else that might be around to find. Roro would also be certain to look around the best he can with his eyes as he holds tightly onto their second item. "Just one more and our items and we should be ready for whatever we are tasked with next. I wonder when this will be over though. What happens when we are through in these events for people that find it fine to drug us? As he wonders he begins to carefully move his foot deep into the snow and then around to see if it connects with anything.

As if he were bothered over the idea of venturing too far from the group, Youyaku searches along the perimeter of where he'd left his teammates. It wasn't that he was worried about them. And it definitely wasn't because he was worried about being on his own! He just figured he'd start around there to ensure that they weren't the ones to find his hands and use them to force him to do whatever their puny little naked ape minds could manage to think of. "Fffkuh," he scoffs in agitation lowly. As he walks he seems to kick around in the snow to make sure he doesn't miss anything. That and because he was pissed that there was snow on the ground. The nature's mother was blanketing the lands with useless white fluff. What purpose did that sure? Nothing. All it did was entertained the younger of naked apes as they play and hinder those on the planet for something more worthy. Snow. On second thought... Youyaku brings his hands to his face but soon turns his head in disgust. "Wretched things!" He goes to look at them again and scowls in thought. He then begins to flex them, not feeling the sensation of his nails digging faintly into the skin of his palm.
Unlike his hands, these bore no connectors responsible for connecting the nerves of his body to the hands. He brings one close to his nose, sniffs it, and then allows his eyes to slowly widen. They smelled just like plastic. What a disgusting scent. He stops walking for a moment and begins struggling to rip the fake hands from his wrists. He had no use for such weak objects. He would do better to defend himself with nothing but his wrists than some object a stupid naked ape forced on him. He begins to cry out 'aaaaaaaaapes' but stops himself. He wouldn't want someone, especially his team to hear his cry. And it wasn't because he cared about their mental well being. It was because he'd rather not see their faces! He continues wrestling with his hands in anger.

He didn't pay much attention to what was going on outside the tree, he was busy looking up towards the tip of it, seeing all these vines and other growing plants inside it, it created the most perfect haven. His aqua eyes surveyed the inside of it, and made him smile to himself. But then, something else caught his eye, in the same spot at where the amulet came from. Oh look, it was the brass knuckles! Axis's eyes brightened with delight, he was loving this. Two items in the same place, what could be better? He crawled into the back into the tree, completely oblivious to the fire that was wrecking the forest, and was focused mainly on his objective. With a small laugh, he slowly crawled back out, just barely noticing his team mate. He was simply wobbling with excitement. He looked at Kami and Nova, and held up the brass knuckles.
"I found it!" He laughed, but soon stopped when he noticed the salvage flames making their way towards him and his team. He wasn't all that enthusiastic to face this huge forest fire. He simply stared for a few moments, then turned, grabbed onto Kami and Nova, and began to drag them away. Far away from the forest fire that would take their new found hideaway prisoner and burn it till it was nothing more than simple ashes.

Aaron was a bit distracted, and he wasn't all there when all this was happening. He was just wondering what it was he could do to find their next item. He didn't even notice the hawk making it's dive towards the earth. But the screech certainly got his attention. He jumped slightly, and looked over toward his team mates. But something wasn't right, something was out of place, or something was going to happen. He just couldn't place his finger on it. The forest was much warmer than it shoulder be, and with the storm coming, that was definably unusual. The purple haired freak looked around, and quickly did he notice his team was moving on without him. Opening up his mouth to say something, almost to ask what happened, but he quickly closed it again as to not seem like an idiot and have to ask what happened not even ten seconds ago. He began to follow his team mates, and quickly his team mate found the next item on their list. He nodded to Roro, they were making pretty good progress with these items. Pretty soon, they will find their last item, and Aaron could pass and continue on training.

Cytisus continued to search through the forests, for the most part avoiding those that were around him. The exams were winding down or so the proctor said, and he needed to continue moving and attempting to find this last item or else risk failing the exams!

"What can a girl do for some fun around here?" The girl said sadly, it was almost like she was the only one still in this stupid, flaming forest. Why, oh why did she had to be on a team all by herself? With a huff, she crossed her eyes and puffed out her bottom lip. This was just plain boring. With another glare in the direction of the flames, Oasis silently began to kill that pyromaniac with her mind, there had to be something she could do to stop that blasted heat. But then, just in that brief moment, something caught her eye. It was her third item! The dragon's tear. She gave a small smile, and quickly gathered up her item, and stored with the rest in her pocket. But that wasn't all, a little ways away was her ice trident, and her clothes! Her smile became twisted, and she knew she was the most dangerous person in that forest. With her ice and the storm coming, she was all set. With a small giggle, and turned to the east, now was the time to cause some chaos.

As the girl was jumping through the forest, she slashed away at trees, coating about half of the forest in complete ice, the fire was sure to melt it, but as the ice melted, the fire would go out. Then half the forest would be water logged, and the other half would be burnt to ashes. She didn't care, she just like having half of the forest filled and covered with the glistening ice, the slippery surface was all over, and Oasis just couldn't be happier. Her long staff like trident was by her side, she loved it so much. She might as well give it a name. Just wait until she got back to Hariko and showed him her weapon, maybe she might trap him in ice. Maybe something exciting would happen. All she knew, was that she needed to find her last item, and quickly.

Every slash the girl made on the tree, the more and more she froze things. Soon, she was met with the fire wall that marked where the fire ended, and where the ice began. The girl gave a sigh, and looked at all the tree that were burning. Why oh why would anyone want to burn something down when they could freeze it and watch it sparkle like diamonds? She had no idea, but she did know that the idiot that caused this was more or less not going to have fun when she finds him...

Flames were everywhere, but so was ice. It was almost seemed like the ice and fire were locked in a eternal battle over the land, fighting for what they wanted. One side was cold and fire, the other was hot and dangerous. Watching the friction between it was amazing. The girl tipped her head, she had no clue where she would go. Venture deeper into the fire's territory, or stay on the safety of the cold, frostbitten side? The safety was never fun, so instead, she decided she would deeper into the forest fire, the more dangerous the more fun and exciting, wasn't it?

The fire wasn't that exciting, it just pissed her off most of the time. It was too warm for her liking, and she just wanted to get away. But unfortunately she was in too deep to actually get out of it. Once she gets her hands on this idiot who started it, she would going to wring hi neck out and paint the ice with his blood, but before that, she needed to find her own items.
