"'Scuse me for a sec." Aymet gave Mort, Thackery, and anyone else nearby a brief wave and turned back to where he'd seen something interesting. Soon, the dracolich had ducked back and disappeared into the crowd, chasing after a particular bright pink spot he'd spotted along the edge of the crowd. With so much else going on, he actually managed to sneak up right behind her and-- "WHAT a surprise to see you here, Lizzy." Two ice-cold hand clamped down on her shoulders from above. A sharp, tiny shard of black metal dug into her skin from the middle of one of the wicked claws, though the dracolich seemed oblivious to it.

Kiwi kept quietly to himself by the back of the crowd for now. Medea's call had stirred him from troubled thoughts, echoing with cries of home. It was beginning to trouble him.
He stamped his foot to the ground intuitively, and willed his mind forward, doing his best to listen in on Medea's speech.
It was unsettling, the thought of being ... forgotten ... But the sickly sweet smell of the spider lilies in his hair, was a reminder that Mara had not been forgotten ... not yet. As long as he remained, so too would their clan. Even those that had passed on ... His skin crawled suddenly with an itch do something about this.

The truth was that Lizzy was surprised to find herself here too; she didn't trust Medea... Or the horsemen in general. She liked them enough as individuals, but she did not agree with their ideals, the way they do things, or the way they view humans as being beneath them.
"Uh... Yeah," She muttered, wincing when she felt something pressing painfully against her shoulder. Quickly, she took one step away, feeling almost guilty for being here; ever since that whole Furnace king crown incident, she's been thinking about power, and how much that would help... And Medea had promised power... Maybe-
Rubbing her shoulder as she looked around, Lizzy tried to push those thoughts away, to the back of her mind, "So... What's going on here? You look so... Comfortable." Unlike her, who was so out of place.

Christof had spotted Aymet slinking off with several others in tow... people Amrita knew. But what were they up to? There was no sign of the ghoul, but if Igors were good at anything, it was lurking quietly in the shadows until it suited them or they were summoned. And if it concerned people Amrita knew, it was worth investigating. At the sight of horsemen, the warning bells began ringing- but at the same time, a deep curiosity. He didn't want trouble. He could evesdrop but if he was caught... Stick with someone he knew. Quietly he lurched his way toward the group, waiting a few tense moments before touching Aymet's boney armored elbow with a pointed throaty grunt. The undead dragon certainly seemed like he knew what was going on. He could at least claim to be following a Master. Play dumb. He eyed Lizzy with a concerned amount of disapproval.

The baku smiled, giving a little shake of her head. Aah, so was that how AJ had gotten here? She was curious as to why her big brother--Shun--had decided to show up here, but she supposed that she could ask him so later. At the boil's words, Xiu emitted a quiet laugh and shook her head.
"Secret meeting...kind of, I guess? I don't think we're technically supposed to be here, but since no one is kicking us out..." She had noticed a few horsemen glancing their way, but none of them made an effort to demand that they leave, so she figured it would be safe to stick around.
She perked up when AJ asked to be introduced, nodding her head slowly. "Of course! I um...well," It was easy to decide who to introduce him to, considering that Alex was right beside her. Clearing her throat, she reached up to the zomboil and gently tugged at his sleeve in an attempt to catch his attention. "Alex? Alex, this is AJ. AJ, this is my friend Alex. He's also a third year like me."
Hopefully that would provide the zomboil with some kind of distraction too. That anxious look on his face was worrying her.

Night stretched as he headed in the secret meeting of what?
Iniates though were encouraged to go or something like that and well, Night was trying his best to keep up in the politics of the horsemen but...he'd rather just do the missions instead.
"Tybalt?" The black cat asked a little surprised at the black dog. "What are you doing in here Pup? Aren't you suppose to be chasing balls? or Toys?"

Frost bristled when Gene suggested going and drinking from that ‘pond’. “Touch that water and you’ll be in a snow bath faster than you can say Jack Skellington. I won’t have them tainting you or branding you Gene.” The wolfos grumbled. He had no claim over Gene, but he was certainly protective of her, the same way he’d be protective of Tomoko. Some things were not to be brought into the path of ‘harm’. Even if they wanted to go to it. “You have your own power, do not water it down with their’s.” “I don’t like how they bring us students to them, as if we are welcomed. Jack’s sake one wears a wolf’s pelt.” It still unnerved him, to see his ‘human’ counterpart’s skin being worn is such a way, reasons or not. “Tybalt has the right of it. The tangled we get with them the better. Still if we avoid them and don’t keep an eye on them and their antics we won’t know what they’re up to. Something that potentially places us in a worse position than before. So, the question is now, do we follow the stink and it’s source to see where it leads, or let it linger and potentially overpower others?” At Night's arrival Frost just gave the boil a look. Cat. What was cat...er... Night doing here?

"It's just, like, a club meeting. Not the first one I've been to... that's all." Lizzy was a nice girl, but as far as he knew she didn't have that conviction. That's what set the initiates apart from the rest of the students. Most of them stuck out, with wide eyes, suspicious looks, fear, huddled together. Look at them... did they have any idea the kind of power they could have? What might have seemed like nothing to Aymet was probably more than they'd ever wielded in their lives. Maybe it was too frightening for them to even conceive of. "I'm surprised you've stayed this long." Aymet let her slip away and pulled his clawed hands back. He gave her a curious look insofar as a draconic skull could manage to. The majority of his face was obscured behind it. Only the burning-blue eyes were visible, nestled in the sockets. One of them seemed to be in a very familiar hooked spiral shape, up this close. "Did something Medea said pique your interest?" He was interrupted by something grabbing his arm. He was greeted with the sight of a familiar fellow undead, who was not an initiate. Though he was Amrita's boyfriend. The sight of the hunchback seemed to set off the empty feeling always lurking in the back of his mind, and it took all of his concentration to clamp down on it. He stood frozen for moment or two; several of the crystals on his shoulder lit up in quick, frantic succession before he managed to force out a polite but curt greeting. " Hi, Christof."

Christof did not get Lizzy's attention until he got Aymet's attention, mostly because she was so focused on Aymet; it was no secret that she was against everything the horsemen stood for, so there was no reason for her to be here. Again and again, she wondered why she was even staying... It's all because of that crown. All because of that one little dream.
"Hey Christof," She greeted; despite her smile, she was wary of him. Was he here because he followed someone in or was he here because he believed in Medea's ways? She couldn't exactly ask him, especially not while they were practically surrounded by horsemen... Oh how she would disapprove of his relationship with Amrita if she didn't like him so much.
"Ah, so you're with them," She was still smiling as her attention went back to Aymet, noticing the horsemen's insignia in his eye for the first time; lots of students had a tattoo from that incident, but... A club meeting? His mark probably meant something else, "I'm surprised I've stayed this long... Maybe. Maybe it did." The answer was simple - power - but she felt disgusted and angry at herself for even considering taking up that offer. There was no way she was going to say it out loud.

Gene nearly snarled at Frost, but only let it be a small glower and a red eyed glare. She knew he meant well, but he simply didn't know what she was feeling. This craving of power, an intense hollowness in her very core that begged for power. Power she hadn't yet obtained, but swore she would.
"Fine...just...augh." She shook her head at the Wolfos boil, giving him a hard glare and a pout. She didn't like being mad at him, and didn't even understand why she was. He was just trying to do what was best for her, after all. A sigh. "I...promise I won't touch the water."
A look towards Night, and a piqued eyebrow. Who was this kid...and what was that on his belt? Something terrible was coming off of it in waves. It made her shudder.
Looking back towards Mei and Tybalt, she could only sigh. They were right, as was Frost. These Horsemen were too fishy. Who knew what they would do next?
"I saw we tune in, just listen for a bit. Maybe this is something the Mayor, or at least the School, needs to know."

She knew very well that coming here wasn't the smartest of moves, but she wanted to know for herself what was happening here. She was tired of not knowing the whole picture. "I know, but I'm staying. I have no intention of making trouble for myself, or anyone. I only want to find out what is happening."
Her attention was drawn back to Gene, a little concerned by her attitude. The last time she had talked to Gene.. she was different somehow. More eager, somehow. Thankfully, Frost was there to help keep the ghoul from doing anything she might regret later. "I'm not sure.." She was tempted to follow, just to find out things.. maybe she should? All in good time..
Hearing a familiar voice call out over the crowd, Mei blinked a few times as the cat boil, Night approached. "Night?"
Glancing over at Gene, she gave a slight nod. "I agree."

"You do know that by doing that you are contradicting what you just said, right?" Both he, Mei, and Frost were not initiates. Chances are, neither was Gene. Just by sticking around, snooping, they were likely to bite off more than they could chew and end up in some serious trouble. But despite knowing that, Mei--all of them, were willing to stick around all for the sake of more information? He didn't like it, but he wouldn't leave them because of it either. In fact, it was more of a reason to stay. "Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you. These people make my skin crawl."
Speaking of which.
Tybalt felt a familiar chill run up his spine, announcing the black cat's presence.
"Keeping friends out of trouble." He answered back, but for all Night knew, he could and probably was talking about him. After all the black cat was already sinking pretty deep and Tybalt wanted to pull him out before he was beyond reach. "And I don't chase ball or play with toys, you damn cat!" He was not a pup!

Night was barely listening to the exchange between the students, inf fact...he noticed a famaliar and somewhat of a trouble maker friend himself talking to others.
"Aymet!" The cat saluted to the dragon before focusing on the group in front of him, beyond the floating ghoul...Night did know the other students.
"Hello Mei, Frost" His tail swayed behind him as he greeted the other two, smiling at them as if his core wasn't hanging on his hip like a trophy. "Tyablt. I'd say your lying but then...I think you are actually." Night put his arms up and rested them behind his back, "Personally don't think you should be here yourself. Since your so against the horsemen but you know..." He smiled, "I don't know Tybalt, I could and possibly will find a ball around here for you to chase!"
He leaned on the black dog, the odd one out of the group as the only initiates among them.

Bending down slightly, Frost gave the ghost ghoul a small headbutt. He worried for her. She wasn’t usually this abrasive, or forward. “Is everything alright Gene?” Red eyes went up to her own glare, met with a stiff stare. He wasn’t above using his bulk to pin her if he had to. There would be no running off to find tainted water… or anything else so dangerous. Tybalt got a small nod. “A bit hypocritical, but if we do not watch for the majority of the students, then who will?I ran, and am running on the promise I would look out for the students. If that means I must watch these horsemen and follow them to see what they plan and do… So be it. Better the few place themselves in danger than the many. The less the number here, the less we will need to herd back if she begins her schemes again.” Night’s calling Tybalt a liar made Frost bristle. Tybalt was to Frost, as honest as any boil could be. “Maybe he prefers to chase cats down dark paths.” He would stay out of the pairs fight, yet Frost looked to the ghost canine. He would not hesitate to aid him if things went sour.

As more and more were gathering and collecting together in familiar groups, the ghoul was starting to find it harder and harder to blend in as less people were spread out. She thought she had spotted Mort but was not certain. But it was the shock of white hair on the tail, familiar zomboil that drew her attention. Slipping her hands into her large sleeves, Mei made her way through the crowd. Ducking and dodging bodies that threatened to run her over. When she had finally reached the small group she sighed lightly. "Good evening...Alex, Xiu...uh...other person?"
