"Awww C'mon Lizzy." Mot frowned. "Don't be like this." It really sucked having a friend not confide in him, just watching her be so miserable and unmoving. He wanted to help. Wanted to see her smile.

She paused, and then pulled the hood of her coat over her head, "Sorry."

Mot tentatively tugged Lizzy closer. "Want me to keep you warm? I bet I'm much more capable of producing heat than a spider demon, hm?"

"I'm sorry," Lizzy sighed, returning the hug gratefully, "I've just not been feeling like myself the past few... Weeks?"
She wasn't sure how long it had been, just that she had been trapped in a cycle of bad feelings that just wouldn't go away. It didn't help that she felt so very unwanted, although she kept reminding herself with what Shun told her when he came to visit, "I don't think I quite got over that yet, but I thought getting out might help."

Geez, that long? Lizzy was taking it so hard for so long. It wasn't healthy.
"And it will help. Just stick close with us okay? And you have to give yourself, and us a chance to let us help you." Mot rocked her back and forth in the hug, gently patting her back. He kept his voice hushed, his words were only for her.
"I want my Lizzy back, okay?"

Skarks, being creatures of the swamp, didn't have much use for money. However, Canon had recently discovered the concept of a maul. A magical place where you could pay for clothes and other items, and then you get to keep said items forever.
So, when the little ghoul caught sight of a job offer ad, one that advertised lots of pay, she immediately ran toward the office.
"IwannajobIwannajob!" she cried as she burst into the room.

Lizzy was plenty sleepy - due to the cold - even without all the swaying and blanket of warmth being provided by Mot. However, knowing that she would have to work - whatever was in the job descriptor - later, she reluctantly let the cowboil go.
"I survived Christmas Land once... I'm sure round 2 wouldn't be that bad," She nodded, "As long as DC's mummy doesn't appear."

"Amrita's cute little Deathcharm!" Lizzy replied, stretching her hands sideways, "There was a huuuuuuge, non-minipet one in Christmas. It could crush whole houses under its foot, and breathed fireballs that killed most of us... I was blasted with a fireball too."
