Ivan stepped into the light of the arena the multiple people that were there so much skill and youth in one place he was glad the barriers were up or else they would be overran in moments due to all the demigods. He walked over to a seat with a wall behind him so the chances of someone coming from behind would be less likely unless the monsters that hades spew onto the earth wanted him dead. he sat down taking off his knife belt and helmet he didn't know anyone and decided it best to see who was great who was good and who was weak but he doubted anyone was weak in this type of place the weakest link is the strongest one way or another

Clare nodded. "I guess I could learn to keep an open mind." She leapt back as the earth opened and an assortment of sharp objects rose out of it. She pointed out a double-bladed scythe. "Is it alright if I chose that?"
Alek walked into the arena and looked around at the kids and teens that were gathered around. There was the creepy little Hades kid, but the swords instructor never judged him. He figured the kid was just a bit misunderstood and needed someone to take his side for once, so Alek would always do what he could to be nice to him. There was a new girl who just by looking at her he could guess was an Ares child. And one of his own little brothers too. Cool."Sup little fighters?" He asked with a smile. "A little late for you guys to be here don't ya think?"

Asura could feel a weird Presence in his Cabin as he growled in a low tone and turned to the Counsler Alek as he groaned. "Alek handle her for me and close the crater as I have buisness to attend to." he said as he runs out back to his cabin
Alek watch Asura storm out of the arena in a fit of rage. "Huh...wonder what's eatin' him..." He looked to the crater the boy was talking about and watched it fix itself as the arena does. "Well that takes care of that." He stated with a playful grin. He then turned his attention to the girl. He bent down to be at eye level with her and smiled cheerfully, but with the usual Hermes look in his eye that made him just a bit mischievous looking. "Welll hi there. I'm Alek, the sword fighting instructor. Just by looking at you I'm guessing your a new member of the Ares family right? And your here for a training lesson. A little late for that, but sure. I was about to get to work on training myself anyway." The instructor dropped his athlete's bag and pulled out one of his 2 celestial bronze swords before standing up and facing the girl in a fighting stance. "Lets start by seeing what you already know. Even if you've never fought before your natural instincts as a demi-god will guide you to some degree. Also, knowing your name wouldn't hurt either." He laughed and gave a sincere grin in hopes to be on her good side. He'd hate to piss of a kid, since he loved kids. Plus Ares children were never good to piss off.

Ivan was still watching carefully the violence that spewed over the arena but his older brother. The daughter or ares and the Hades kid were the main ones who seemed even worth a few drachma for. Alek his older brother he guessed from the smile on his face and has already made himself more than a standout you could almost say a zeus child if he bragged about everything. The daughter of Ares Clare scarred the s**t out of Ivan even if she wasn't a war waged child yet she could still be able to harness more than enough of her instinct to be a dangerous foe. And Azura... He was a odd one for a child of Hades he poured power with just being in the very same area as him but his sociable figure makes him seem more like a fox. Ivan called out it would be good to socialize with his Alek. "Hey"

Clare picked up the scythe, marveling at how it seemed to mold to her hand. She stuck her tongue out in annoyance of being treated like a five year old. "I wouldn't really know, seeing as I don't know who that is." She turned her attention back to the scythe, and was startled out of her thoughts when he spoke again. "Yeah I suppose..." She grinned mischievously. "Are you sure about that."

Alek heard someone calling from the stands and remembered his little brother was there, or one of them anyway. He looked up at him ans waved quickly before looking back to the Ares girl. "Ares is the god of war, not the kinda guy you wanna piss off. That's just the kinda vibe I get from you. And I'm positive. Come at me with all you got. Don't hold back. Okay? On the count of three. One...two...three!" On "three" the instructor braced himself in a proper stance to defend against a strength based attack which was what he observed Ares kids tended to prefer and be better at.
Clare played through all her pranks and decided to trip Alek. She rushed at him and dropped down, letting her momentum crash her into his legs.

Alek noticed the girl go down and jumped over the girl as she slid towards him. He turned to face her again with a smirk. "You'll have to be more creative than that. Come on. Try again." He told her a bit tauntingly.
Clare jumped to her feet, and swung the scythe at Alek's swords, attempting to knock them out of his hands. At the same time she kicked at the back of his knees, hoping to hit them just right and make his knees give out.

Bad move on her part. Alek quickly jumped back and dodged her kick while simultaneously using his sword to block her hit at his hand and twisting it around, spinning the Ares girl's scythe out of her hand and catching it in his free hand. Pointing his sword at the her and holding her scythe out of her reach, the instructor had pinned her. His smirk switched to a laughing smile and he put his sword down, handing her the scythe back. "You did well." He told her and was happy with her performance. "You've got a lot to learn, but your insticts are killer and deadly. You could probably even beat some of my other students who have been coming her for years just with what comes to you naturally. But that's expected of an Ares kid."
((He's only using one of his swords. He owns 2, but only uses one at a time normally.))
