Suddenly Jove heard her, and saw a light silhouette emerge from the edge of the mists. There she was! He lunged through the pale curtain of fog curling between them and grabbed her hand, determined not to let go. He wouldn't let her get lost here again!
It took a second for the fright to wear off, but he was quick to realize it was improper to just... grab a lady's hand like that. Especially one who seemed as familiar with the rules of proper behaviour as he was. So he let go with a sheepish look, and instead offered his arm for her to take. That was how a proper escort walked with a lady!

Akhem woke in a hazy fog like mist. He looked around and started to cough. Damn what was this stuff? As if it wasn't hard enough to breath already. He heard a voice calling to him, and turned to see a caterpillar. Test of bravery? Well hell he was all over that.
"Yeah? Let's do this thing ya creepy crawler!"

Akhem lurched forward intent on getting out of this damn place. He didn't want to fail this because he SURE didn't want to stay with that freakin creepo. He moved forward seeing shifting shapes in the fog smoke. It looked like a place, though he couldn't place where he had seen it before. IT soothed him though, to know that wherever it was, it wanted to help him get through. Suddenly the fog cleared. There was the smug caterpillar sitting and smoking like nothing happened. He oughta be taught a lesson, Akhem thought. But he decided to hold off on that, due to the fragile balance this place seemed to have. The caterpillar congratulated Akhem on passing the test (some test THAT was) and gave him a small box. Inside was a mushroom with an Eat Me label. Well might as well get out of this freaking place. He scarfed it down. He started to feel woozy, the last thing he saw was the smug caterpillar. [[exit]] Quote: 6. The scene around you shifts to a familiar place. Victoria jerked upwards at the sudden hand grab, but not because it was improper; instead, she was just surprised at Jove's sudden appearance. However, it made her relieved to see that he had managed to escape the fog as well. Before she could say anything, however, the caterpillar had revealed himself again; thinking that he was going to get them lost like before, she quickly took the offered arm, determined not to lose the boil a second time... What if they weren't lucky twice?
When the caterpillar tossed a giftbox at each of them instead, each containing a mushroom, she eyed them warily, not sure if she could trust him... They could be poisoned!
"What should we do, Sir Jove?" She asked, frowning, "Should we eat it?"

Jove examined his box before opening it, and then sniffed the mushroom inside. Then he nodded decisively. He really liked mushrooms, and this one didn't smell like poison. Without hesitation he popped it in his mouth. And that's the last thing he remembered.

Lan sighed again. It was quickly becoming a thing for her. It was all too much. When this was all said and done? She would have words and stress. Stress that at the very least she could work out in spars. There. That would be her silver lining to all this chaos.
Even war was better than this madness really. Glaring at the fat catapillar, the horsewoman sneered. "Foolishness is the action of those who lack courage."

A maze. Really now. Head held high Lan strode in, fearing nothing. She was nobility and conquest. She could do no wrong. Two feet. Her choices her own she would pass it as simple as anything.

Space, lava, some disgusting pink.... No. On a horse, and then music. Lan was hardly fazed. As she found herself back in front of the catapillar she resisted the urge to kill it. It would save them all some trouble. But no, it placated her with a gift. Leery, she still took it. Lan was selfish at times. A look, a nibble....
She cursed them all as she passed out.

Oh. So she wouldn't of been able to fly over anyways. Figures.
Mayaa climbed over the canopy, and continued climbing until she came out to some strange place. Were those... trees?
Upon closer inspection, she realized they weren't trees at all, but... mushrooms?
She was strangely tired for some reason, but continued to walk. She just wanted to find the exit...
She hadn't even noticed the clicking sound... or the face, until it spoke.
"Wh-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
She shrieked and quickly took several steps back.
Just where... what...
"I... I'm not tired." she lied
The last thing she wanted to do was stay here with some creepy face.
Eyes widened as the body connecting to the face was revealed, and she shifted back a bit farther.
...Bravery? What in the world was he talking about?
She puffed up her cheeks.
"I'm plenty brave!"
... Just where did this boost of confidence come from?
Regardless, she was feeling very capable at the moment.
BRING IT ON, strange creepy caterpillar man, she'll take anything you dish out at her. ANYTHING.

Ok, enough with these shenanigans.
She got off the horse.
I'm not scared!" she yelled. "You can't scare me!"
As if by magic, the fog disappeared, and she ended up staring at the caterpilla creature again.
"No." she sniffed.
Ok, she hadn't really done anything besides sit on a pony, but still. She didn't want to be here anymore.

No. She wanted to go back to normal!
She barely caught the box tossed at her, and when she opened it, she only grimaced.
Was she... supposed to eat this thing?
While she didn't trust the caterpillar creature much, it seemed there wasn't any other way of getting out, and she had no intention of staying with him any longer than needed.
Not taking another moment to dwell on it, she popped it in her mouth, and felt herself slowly slipping away.
Everything went black.

Mushrooms, mushrooms and more mushrooms, Bea was getting drowsy from so much smoke and haze. When a face suddenly appeared in front of her nose, she, once again, stumbled her way backward. "UGH!" frustrated that this was the second time she was startled.
After listening to a strange caterpillar, Bea began to wonder what exactly was happening... "Hey, don't lecture me about bravery! I just... question a lot about the future and possible outcomes, that's all."

"OH great. Now, where am I?" Bea slumped her shoulders and took a good look around. It was her dorm room. But how did she get here? Fish were swimming carelessly around her, the serene environment, let her relax a bit.
Suddenly, a group of reapers shouted something about killing her and began to give chase, "I'M ALREADY DEAD, WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!" Bea cried. She thought she was in her room, now where was she?
It was hard to tell... Bea wiggled her way through the maze, losing the reapers behind her. "Ugh, Jack... that smell..." It was pungent, and quite frankly gross. She didn't want to even look. The stench was enough to make her feel sick to her stomach.
It didn't help that an even more over powering smell came when she walked deeper into the maze. "NO! GET AWAY FROM ME!" Bea screamed at the thought of being cuddled to death. Even though she was already dead, she didn't like the idea of being smothered by a stranger.
As Bea finally came close to the end, she turned into a minipet, ready to be snatched up by a mysterious person. Bea panicked and jumped into the very end.

What was this?
Some weird old man thing was asking if Carmine was brave? What did he care? And why did Carmine even need to be brave? He wasn't sure what all this nonsense was about, but Carmine played along anyway.
