Picking back up just a little bit of speed for the last streatch, the top of the hill came into view. One more good hop and he will have done it!

The hill was a bit steeper than she expected, but Thistledown remained focused. The way down was all about keeping her feet under her.

Summoning all his strength, Hydrangea lept up to the top of the hill, pausing only to turn around and stare in awe of what he just accomplished. Even if he wasn't quite runner material in the first two races, he felt proud of himself for what he just achieved now.

 *Luuk is getting a name change. i'll keep using it for these races to keep it consistent and to avoid any confusion* Slowly, you see a set of rabbit ears peek out from the hill. Luuk was done catching his breath and decides to finish the race in a slow pace. He wonders why he's not as fast as the others after crossing the finish line.. but still- upon finishing the race, he proceeded to smile at other rabbits and congratulate them. No one likes a sour grape in the race. He was not upset about running bad races. Numbers rolled: 2 5 5 3 4 5 5 1 1 Total: 31

Dove glanced down the hill, swallowing a gulp. His first two races weren't so hot and he was slightly worried. Down hill than up hill, that would prove to be a challenge. Taking a deep breath, he narrowed his baby blue eyes an proceeded to descend as soon as the race began.

Woah, it was much harder to keep her balance than Thistledown had predicted! She almost launched into a skid, but recovered at the last minute.

 Oxlip trembled with anticipation. He hadn't won any of the races so far, but he hadn't had any major disasters either. The young buck heard the owsla go on about the dangers and blah blah blah. Sure, some other rabbit might take a nasty fall, but he was sure he'd be all right.

Despite his cocky attitude he took it easy in the start, trying to pick a similar route as the runner before him. Other rabbits were quicker than him, but he tried to ignore them.

His start was not so great. He managed to get hung up on a few rocks but pursued on.

This race was much harder than the first one had been! She narrowly avoided another skid, but reminded herself that there were more important things than winning the race. Not getting injured, for one.

He put all his speed into his paws and made a quick descent down a portion of the hill.

His speed was cut in half as he had to swerve around what looked like a really dangerous and lose patch of dirt.

After the slow start Oxlip quickly started to build up speed. He tried to mimic the way the runner had done it, and so far it seemed to pay off.

He neared the bottom and picked up the speed to attempt to finish the down hill portion in good standings. He slowed down just a hare's pace to turn and begin the uphill battle.
