Trae carefully took the comic. He'd noticed that Blake was very careful with it so he took great care while looking at the pages. "I don't usually read things like this, my uncle has no interest in them. But it looks rather interesting to me. Especially the science ideas and super powers. Spiderman looks like he is kind of like us."

Altair nodded in agreement with Sha. "Too loud..." She huffed a little, then looked out towards the direction Deskri had left in. "Oh! Papa is back." She pointed to the sulky adult who seemed to have managed to find a bucket... though was having trouble carrying it.
"Papa is so weird..."

Trae could not have won more brownie points with Blake with he tried. Suddenly Blake was sitting up straight and he scooted over closer to Trae. He was really happy that Trae was being so careful and respectful to his comic. Also Trae had already picked up on some of his favorite things about comics.
"Yeah! A lot of the heroes are like that. Comics are great. I can lend you some if you want. You can even borrow this one. I've already read it and I know you'll be careful with it." He was grinning broadly now.

"I would be very careful with them, you obviously take great care of them. But uh, I'd rather start from the beginning. I must admit to not knowing too much about these characters." Trae said as he looked through the comic some more. "And it would be interesting to see if there are any metas that have powers like these." Trae snickered. "What if there was one that could shoot spider webs but that had wings. I'm imagining him swinging from building to building with wings in the way."

Blake laughed a little at such a silly idea.
"He wouldn't need to swing if he had wings though... that would still be fun I bet. But starting from the beginning would be best. I'll bring the first few with me when I move in so I can lend them to you. If you like them I can trade them off when I visit home."
He was starting to get a little excited now. Maybe moving into the school was going to be fun after all. Suddenly the phone his dad had got him so they could keep in touch while Blake was at school or had wandered off began to buzz. He pulled it out and saw a text from his dad.
"Looks like my dad is heading over here. Guess I better pack up and get ready to go." He looked a little disappointed. Hanging out with Trae was fun and he wanted to keep doing it.

"That sounds like a good plan. I will look forward to it." Trae said and startled a little when he heard the sharp buzzing sound. "Oh, that's a shame. Um I hope you get an awesome room mate and stuff. Uh nice meeting you!" Trae said with a pleased grin, happy to have met someone else that not only was in his very pink predicament, but also sensible.

Blake took the comic back from Trae and put it carefully into his bag.
"Yeah it was really nice meeting you too." He cracked another smile. "And thanks, I hope your roommate is awesome too." He zipped up his back pack and slung it over his shoulder. "I'll see you soon ok? Bye." With that Blake slid down the slide before starting off towards the direction his dad was coming from in a dash. He paused to wave over his shoulder at his new found friend though. For once he had something he couldn't wait to tell his dad about.

"Yeah, see you." Trae said waving as Blake started off. Sha would be so proud of him, making a friend all on his own. He chuckled to himself and made plans for when Sha fell over in shock.
