Lilium stuck her tongue out toyingly, "It wanted a fight," she jeered back at Daja. She kicked the rope twirling about, "And I ain't getting saved by a butt that won't talk to me. Not to mention ABANDONED ME." Boy, was she hurt. As soon as the words came, it was difficult to fight back the tears. She wanted Bella, but Bella was obviously resting. Lilium felt selfish, she wanted to snuggle up to Bella and let the world fade away.
She tried to collect herself, "I tried to apologize to him, Daja, but he wouldn't have it." But to no avail... the tears fell, large crocodile tears.
All that twirling with the frayed rope and it gave way. Lilium landed hard on the coiled rope. She coughed and of course the tears got worse.

Daja raised an eyebrow at Lilium. Abandoned? Really now? Well it wasn't the time for that, and he didn't really bother to think much of it until they got her free. Of course, against her wishes, Pesha had rescued her. And now that they were all down on the ground, they were going to get this solved.
"Well whether you like it or not, he did rescue you. With some help, be it, but he did." He yawned, still a little tired from the night. "Now calm down...Apologize for what now?"
Pesha slunk off into a dark corner to be alone for the moment, knowing now he was useless and unwanted. Plus Lilium would just hit him again if he tried anything.

Lilium sobbed lightly, sniffing through congestion. She pointed her paw after Pesha, "He hates me." She tried stroking away the tears. "I want Bella," she cried. "I just know I'm not wanted because of him! He's the helpful one. Even though I helped him, asked if he needed any help, and all he did was give me the silent treatment! I... I... I just want Bella." Lilium was beyond crushed, the only one that could make her feel better and she wasn't even present. Surely, she understood that there wasn't going to be anything cleared by staying there with them.
Lilium shakily stood up and ran out the open mill door.
Bella was studying the room carefully while keeping herself cozy. In the distance, she heard a peculiar sound and it was getting louder. Bursting through the slightly ajar door came Lili. Puzzled and bemused to see her little friend, but was quite discouraged at the sight. "Lili?" Only more crocodile tears greeted her. So she turned to console the little baheera.

Daja wasn't sure what to say as Lilium sobbed, and let her go, turning back to look at Pesha, who was staying completely silent and wasn't about to go after her. Deciding the baheera would be fine on his own, Daja returned to both Lilium and Bella by himself, settling down beside her.
Pesha, however, took the chance to leave the area altogether. Lilium was wrong. He wasn't the helpful one at all. And she hated him! They'd be far better off without him, he thought, quickly running far back into the forest. He settled into a little dirt cave as far away as he could get, cuddling down by himself for the night.

Bella eyed him suspiciously, "Do I want to know?" she asked. She had to admit, she had never seen Lilium so beside herself since she came under her care.
After a while, Lilium did calm down enough where she fell off to sleep. Bella sighed finally, and rested on Daja, "Is it going to be this way with the kids?" It was rhetorical. Honestly, she didn't want to know. Somehow, she believed it could be any day on the kits. Lord, have mercy, she wanted things to go back to normal, or at least, she didn't want to be with-anything for a good while.
Bella rested, but something was amiss. "Where's Pesha?" She glanced around, "Wasn't he with you, Daj?"

"There's....Some problems. But no, I don't think you need to know for the moment, my dear." Daja returned to her side, nuzzling her quietly.
Daja breathed a sigh of relief when Lilium finally fell to rest, and took to grooming Bella, as to calm her down. "That, I do not know. But if it is, I will take care of it, don't you worry..." He soothed, leaving a kiss on her cheek. He knew it would be soon. Not too much longer until they would be a family.
"Ah, he looked like he needed some time alone. Since Lilium thinks he hates her. Though that might be accurate with the way they've been fighting." He shrugged. "He'll be back, don't worry..."
But he didn't come back. Even after the next sunrise, Pesha had yet to return. Daja was worried, though tried to keep it hidden, not wanting to upset Bella.- quote taken out- MARCH POINTS

Bella could see some dis-ease on Daja's face. She'd come to know him better than himself at times. "We'll try to get this straightened out, Daj, don't worry too much on it." She gave him a weak smile. "Remember, they're like children as well," she laughed softly. "We need all the practice we can get." She nuzzled his cheek and leaned into him. It did bother her that their seeming family was already in tatters and there were only more on the way. Bella was more interested on keeping the stress at bay for as long as she could.
Lilium, on the other hand, was back up to her regular shenanigans. Or was trying to... anyway. She had climbed up into the rafters once again and was staring out the rusted out ventilator. It's rotor provided an easy escape if the two medaria decided to punish her. She didn't like the impending feeling of being scolded. She had thought she'd done the right thing, but maybe not. She just knew she was well out of the way.

The male was more content with nuzzling her, trying to make his worries go away. He didn't say anything for quite a while, still just easing his mind with her own nuzzles. "Give him time....He can't abandon us forever.....Though..." The worry showed a little more, especially in his wings, which went tense against his back. Though maybe he would abandon them. Daja was trying not to panic, especially when he was about to be a father, and didn't notice that Lilium had run off to do her own thing, trying to take solace in Bella's company instead.

Bella smiled earnestly, "He'll come home when he's good and ready," she nodded. Her body ached but there wasn't much she could do. She was tired of being tired. "Lilium, dear, would you mind looking for something to eat?" she called to the rafters.
Lilium came down shortly after and hugged Bella. She nodded with still a tear-stained face, but did as she was asked and scampered off out of the mill.
Bella looked at Daja and tried to resettle herself. "You need to stop taking the brunt of everything, Daj. You'll give yourself an ulcer if you're not careful. The kits will be soon, but you and I decided this was the best. You should be happy. Because... you know, they are likely to have my temper." She snickered.
She sighed, "It certainly won't be quiet after that..." she trailed off as she looked at the ceiling.
Her eyes fell on his pained face, "Listen, I'm just as scared as you are, but I'm also excited about what's to come. I just... I just don't know what to expect." There was a slight quiver in her voice that cracked her impenetrable emotion wall and began to shake nervously.

"If you insist." Daja sighed, fidgeting over his wings again. He worried, but right now he had to worry more about Bella, especially because of their children. Would he be a good father? If he couldn't take care of Pesha, he was surely unable to take care of his own offspring, his flesh and blood. He watched Lilium go, feeling even more nervous.
"But...But with you in such a state, I have to take the brunt of it all. You don't have the time to worry about everything, that's why I'm here." He attempted, frowning. However, at her mention of tempers.... "Oh I hope not....One Bella is certainly enough to love, but I can't deal with more than one! Especially not when you need your beauty sleep, right?"
He worried more and more about her by the minute, keeping up his thoughts of being an unfit father. "I won't be good enough...I won't be good enough Bella, I can't ever be good enough..." It was perhaps the first panic attack he would have, but it certainly wouldn't be the last. "You'll make it though, believe me you will. You're so strong Bella...."JUNE POINTS

Bella huffed. She screwed up her mouth. "Daja," she said perfectly clear. "Do not sell yourself so short." She got up, flung the loose end of the blanket over him and pulled it tight. Bella looked directly in his eyes, "Are you telling me, that I chose to have this litter with a coward?"
Her gaze was dark, but she wanted the truth from him. She sat down beside him, "Is that how it's going to be, Daja?" she asked earnestly. Bella glanced away with a elongated sigh. It was an aggravated gesture and altogether she wanted to cry. All these emotions running ramped in her head; a soon-to-be family, Daja having a nervous break down, and seemingly the entire world being uprooted. AH! She was fit to be tied.
