Rep didn't let go of his train of thought so easily, just glared coldly at Jerry. And to think he thought the guy was okay.
He shifted his gaze to the rose suspiciously, he hoped it threw up on him.

Jerry had started humming along to his guitar, quite happy for the quiet moment of bro-zen amongst his sun-bros. This was nice. This was very nice. Just sitting, enjoying the nice foggy day, without a care in the world and no bigger concern than what was going to eat them next.
In the grand scheme of things, it was a wonderful train of thought.
Would be better to think about what YOU'LL eat next. Don't be such a prey animal, rabbit-man. Roar chuckled, in just as zenned out zenny goodness as the Hunter he roomed with.

Right. Mental note: ask Candace what the hell was up with the roses, and possibly how long it lasted and if it was possible to duplicate the effect.
Rep was still scowling. Jordan scooped the hacky sack out of the sand with his toes and kicked it in Rep's general direction. "Heads up," he said cheerfully.

Rep gave Jordan a long suffering sort of look as the hacky sack was kicked in his direction, an unspoken look of "not you too". But he didn't complain, instead giving it a valiant attempt to once again keep the thing in the air. It was pretty damn hard though, his brain to leg co-ordination was, on the whole pretty terrible. So once again he managed a meagre few punts before he dropped it again. It didn't even help to imagine it was yeti Jerry as he kicked it.
"I wouldn't ******** mind a revelation that had me sitting like a ******** stoner zombie on the beach."
He kicked it back.
"Eccies used to make people tolerable, I could go with some of them next time I have to deal with Marcus."

Jerry laughed as the hacky-sack sock got kicked, running his hands down the chords before singing out, "People are strange, when you're a stranger, faces look ugly, when you're alone~" the normally solemn song had a humored tone to it as he grinned, shifting to watch them as he played, "Women seem wicked, when you're unwanted~ Streets are uneven when you're down..."

"Eccies?" Jordan scooped the hacky sack up again and occupied himself with keeping it in the air. "Yeah, but then you've got the problem of coming down. Wouldn't it seem worse afterwards for having had the brief high?"
He laughed at Jerry's song. "Are you implying things?"

"I dunno, life here can be one long downer at times. It'd be nice to have an out for when its really like, needed and s**t. I could drink with the worst people without getting pissed off at them with a bit of a buzz going." he wasn't being too serious at least, a faint smile playing on his features. He didn't feel like he needed his vices as much here, he diverted it all to fighting.
"I'd probably be in less trouble overall."
Jerry got a smirk. "No heard that song in ages." The other sun was a complete mystery to Rep, he was insufferable almost all the time, then well..whatever was up with him right now happened and he was almost pleasant. It was hard to stay angry at a guy who was somewhere in the clouds.

"When you're strange!" Jerry sang with a laugh, continuing to play before shaking his head, "You don't need to drink, Rep. It just clouds your judgement and makes you feel sick."

Jordan dropped the hackey sack and stared at Jerry. "On a list of things I never expected to hear coming out of your mouth," he said bemusedly.

Rep couldn't help it as his expression twisted into an almost proud smirk.
I did that. he thought to himself for having a hand in helping set that one up.
"Aye well that's you. I've never done anything stupid while drunk. I'm a savvy drunk."

"I don't think there's such a thing as a savvy drunk," Jerry huffed with a touch of arrogance. He made a thoughtful noise in his throat, the chords on his guitar suddenly shifting with the warning signs of a song-on-the-way.
