Wouldn't it make more sense for them to be doing this though before the finals? Like, while they're still out running around and while Malik's still got goons? this way, Serenity can feel pressured to close the case before they get to the finals because once they're in the air, there might not be a way to prevent it from happening again (Or, at least, try to prevent it from happening again...) And then maybe she takes so long/it's so difficult to get the evidence that they end up going on the blimph.
Also, is serenity working for the police, fbi or cia, or someone? Or is she just trying to bring the case to the cops?
