"I've...never heard of that book!" Amrita admitted, trying to recall the title and coming up with nothing. "You'll have to tell me how it is! I don't like bending the corners, either! But almost everyone does it, so annoying~" The Vetala pouted, but at least this horseman had gained a +1 in her mind for his treatment of books.
"I don't mind at all~" She said in an almost distracted way, and as he fidgeted with the locks she looked about.

The click was anti-climatic which was sadly what Mitsu needed. No surprises or loud noises just something simple. Her eyes turned up to Amrita as the ghoul congratulated her eyeing the box as it was passed over. The ghoul seemed to be having trouble with the lock box though and there was a tone of frustration. Even after Amrita had managed to lock the box back and had started speaking with a horseman Mitsu gently reached out to touch her arm, her expression asking her what was wrong. While this Mitsu remembered who Amrita was and had been told that she was on the island she knew little of what the ghoul went through. She could only hope it wasn't anything like she experienced. Really, he knew the right key was right there, Fai thought as he sorted through the box, picking one up and looking at it before trying it--this one didn't even fit in the hole. Ah, the sadness.
"Yes, of course," he said, distracted from the box again. "When I am finished I will tell you whatever you wish to know--" unless someone more worldly managed to stop him from regaling the scareling. "I think, though, that I should let others try their luck at this game. As much as it saddens me."
Then he stepped back, nodding his head slightly at her before walking away.

Shun noticed that Amrita seemed to be a little uneasy, though he wasn't entirely certain what the exact cause was. She seemed to have frozen a bit at the sight of Mitsu though. He had to remember that she was there when he pretty much 'unmasked' the fake before.
"Don't worry," he tried to assure the undead girl. He then glanced over towards the keys and decided to try one as well. Just for the hell of it.

Eisheth laughed, when she suddenly noticed the picture on one of the booth's walls! On the closer look, she realized both students depicted their looked very familiar; in fact, she was quite she had seen this pair during the Murder mystery case at prom... "Tail wagging the dog!", she couldn't help commenting, though.

Calder responded to the petting, and closed his eyes a moment before sitting up more. It didn't help Amrita one bit if he just moped. "Sorry." He apologized, before stretching out. "What can I help with?"

She won a thing! Again! Like at that booth with the delicious apples! Sibyl added it to her tiny collection and stared at the silhouetted picture. This one she also had no idea.

This booth looked somewhat less threatening. It was a table dedicated to the Yearbook of the academy? Looking about, trying to calm down after his run-in with the feardos tank, he saw a few potential threats, but nothing to the magnitude of what he'd experienced.
Looking up at one of the game images, the mothboil contemplated what to write out for the caption. There was a boil with a cowboil hat looking rather glum being ridden by a beautifully bold ghoul...
Unfortunately, Phil saw the ghoul as frightfully reckless in her manner of riding. That was unsafe! That boil needed to be properly saddled.

This was Freya's favorite game. She recognized this person too - but she'd never actually met him. She just knew of him through friends, and very barely at that. But there was something about that silhouette that made her sure..

a LOCKED DOOR. Kiln hated locked doors, they were always trying to stay locked and keep him away from treasure and kiln loooooved his treasure. but after the tiny reaper walked up to the table and peeked over at the door.

Mitsu's touch was shied away from, but Amrita looked mildly apologetic for it. She held her elbows, drifting her attention towards Shun as he tried to reassure her. "I'm not scared." She snapped, turning back to Mitsu.
"I'm glad to see you out and about. It...it's hard, but..." Her fingers dug into her patchy skin, even though her wrists had to turn incredibly awkwardly to do so. "But being out...is good. I...I'm proud of you."
Eisheth was smiled at as she gave in her caption, the note going towards the proper box for it. Calder's comment was met with a shrug. "Nothing yet...you can go wander the booths if you want! ...Actually. Want to take turns getting Candidate's swag?" Might as well advertise for them!
Sibyl, Phil, Freya and Kiln were given smiles and thank-yous for their attempts and a very sincere wish that they keep trying, and have fun!EVERYONE ELSE IN THE BOOTH YAY

He tried to unlock the box with the wrong key. It didn't move or click or anything you would expect from a box that SHOULD open. Obviously his brain should have told him he had the wrong key, but he kept mashing it in the key hole hoping that he was just holding it wrong. Eventually though the fake key snapped on the ground and he had to give up trying.
