Jim smiled "I have the same class sort of" his guitar class went on in the same class with the grade eleven students since there was very few students in the grade twelve class. He didn't like the attention playing guitar brought so most of the time he would play the saxophone in the back of class. "I'll be happy to show you the way" he put his cigarette out under his dress boot clad foot and started walking into the school "It's really a easy place to navigate once you figure it out" he was making idle conversation not really sure if Pippy was even paying attentionxx

Hiro sighed as she walked to the gate of her new school. It's not that she wasn't excited...well...it was just that she didn't know how to face people anymore. Not after what had happened. She clutched her bag, hearing her older brother's words from this morning.
"It'll be fiiiine Hii-chan! Nii-san is here now."
She blushed, touching her head. It was nice how he still treated her like a child, a nice change from what she was used to now. The gawky stares of teenage boys. Luckily, no one was here to gawk. Not many people were here. Hiro took a deep breath, determined to have a good year, and took a step forward...to fall on her face.
She quickly scrambled up from the ground and looked around, her face was probably red. In a flash she ran from the site of her accident and towards the dorms.

 "I am putting every lie in alphabetic file..." Ana sighed, her bag getting caught as she tried to yank it over the curb. Black Rose Academy... What a road she'd traveled to get here. Hell, just getting into the school had been another ordeal in and of itself. She was lucky that they'd agreed to take her as far into the school year as it was. Walking toward a small patch of grass under a lovely little tree, she collapsed the handle of her bag and set it next to her, leaning against the trunk of the tree. She could afford to take a small rest before heading up to her room, right? "Starting with 'all i need is you'..."

A small rock tumbled forward on the solid sidewalk. As it slowed to a halt, a shoe halfheartedly kicked it a couple feet forward.
Ken pouted to himself as he followed the rock, his only company, around. It wasn't fair. It was Valentine's Day and everyone had plans! His entire band had either work or other people to be with. Even Ryuu had to spend time with his sisters so they could show him off to everyone! He was all alone...
Dammit, he was the band's leader! The star! The hero that everyone threw themselves at! Why did he have to be the one all alone?! Fine, he didn't want to hang out with anyone anyway! A vein pulsing at the side of his head, Ken pulled his clenched fists out of his pocket and angrily kicked the rock as far away from him as possible. He didn't even need that either!

"I am putting every lie in alphabetic file..." Without even realizing it, Ana had dozed off into a light sleep. Curling more in toward herself, she hadn't even noticed the angry boy kicking the rock down the sidewalk, though this was mostly due to the fact that she wasn't conscious. Just when she felt as if she was drifting farther into the astral plane of sleep, a rather hard and solid pain in her right arm woke her. She jolted up, gasping in shock. Two things then happened, almost simultaneously: as she pressed her fingers to the part of her arm that was in pain, feeling the tenderness of the area, she noticed the clearly angry boy walking down the sidewalk. Quickly, she pushed herself up off the ground. "Hey!" she shouted, annoyed look on her face. Crossing her arms over her chest, she continued, "Watch what you're doing, will you?" "Starting with 'all i need is you'..."

Ken froze, startled, when he heard the voice. He looked around frantically then paused when he saw the girl huffing at him. He blinked a few times until realization set him, making him blush a little. "Oh, uh... Sorry." he muttered and awkwardly looked away while rubbing the back of his neck. He didn't know anyone was here. He didn't recognize that girl, either. Was she new or just some girl waiting for her boyfriend to get out of class?

"I am putting every lie in alphabetic file..." Ana let out a 'hmph', pulling up the handle on her suitcase. So much for getting a little peace and quiet. She walked over toward the sidewalk, her little rest having been pretty much ruined. "Sorry's right," she said when she got closer. She hated being woken up. It always left her in a grumpy mood. Taking a moment to dust off her skirt, she muttered, mostly to herself. "Guess this is my warm welcome to Black Rose...still better than home..." Then, she took a deep breath, smile coming to her face. Time to make her first friend. "Alright, we got off on the wrong foot. I'm Ana. Ana Lunaria, and I'm new here." She stuck out her hand. "What's your name?" "Starting with 'all i need is you'..."

Pushing back the thoughts, Ken glanced sideways. She didn't look like the type to know Japanese pop, so maybe she wouldn't recognize him. He'd be reassured by her lack of realization by just looking at him, but his stage persona was way different than normal. "I'm Kenshin Yamada, but call me Ken." he decided to introduce as he looked back down at her. "New, huh? What grade?"

"Nice name. I'm a junior, but I'll probably have to repeat this grade, coming in this late and all. I'm guessing you're a student, too?" Wiggling her fingers, she looked up at him. "An' c'mon, you're not just gonna leave me hanging, are you?" "Starting with 'all i need is you'..."

Beads of sweat dotted the side of Ken's head when Ana repeated it slowly. He held back his sigh of relief when she made no attempt to fangirl over him. He'd admit, though, that he was a little disappointed. Being unrecognized because of his drastic appearance change was something he was used to, but at the same time wasn't. At least then someone would feed his ego for the day.
"I'm a senior." he replied before looking at the hand. Oh, was that always held out? After giving it a contemplative look, he reached out and shook it. "So what made you move in so late?" he asked after moving his hand back to his pocket.

"Oooh, Mister Mature, huh?" she teased, rocking back on her heels. At his question, she kinda scrunched her face up, as if she'd just smelled something bad. "Family issues. But, I'm willing to bet you don't want to hear me go on and on about how my Mother is a manipulative b***h, so..." She let her sentence trail off with a shrug. "Anyway, I don't suppose you happen to know where I can get my dorm assigned, do you? I thought it would come on my class list but...Apparently not." she said, clearly not wanting to continue the previous subject of the conversation. "Starting with 'all i need is you'..."

Before he could get too angry, however, he heard the girl talk about her mom, albeit briefly. Whoa, looks like there was some bad blood between them. He didn't see his mom very often, but managed to keep in touch with her and his dad over the phone now and then. Whenever he did visit them, though, they made it their life's mission to embarrass him. Probably why he didn't visit so often.
"Uh, I'm not really sure. I had a dorm set up as soon as I arrived." He pursed his lips. "Uh... If you want you can just hang out in my room for a while until you figure out where you're staying?" he offered. He barely stayed at that dorm anyway, hanging out at Ryuu's and his place a lot, and he didn't keep too many work-related things there. Yaso roomed with him, but he was always gone to who-knows-where.

Hearing that he didn't know where to get a dorm assigned as well, she folded her arms across her chest, teeth clamping down on her lower lip. Well, dammit. Just as she was preparing to march to the main office, she registered his next comment. Room with him? Was that allowed? "The dorms are co-ed here?" she said, before she could even filter the thought. "You sure I won't be a problem?" she continued, eyebrows raised. "Starting with 'all i need is you'..."

"Some are. If it really bothers you then you can sign for a same-gender one." Ken shrugged, though he didn't see many same-gendered dorms. Besides his own, but that's besides the point.
Looking back down at Ana when given the question, Ken replied with another shrug. "I don't care. It'd be nice to have someone to hang out with today, anyway." Hearing himself made him realize something. "You don't have a boyfriend that's going to try to kill me if he hears about this, do you?" he asked while leaning over and giving her an uppity look. He knew if someone he liked was hanging out with someone else on Valentine's Day he'd be angry.
