(I know I just said I left but disregard that because I want a Ghost Pokemon) Ryan rode through the town. Even at his speed, Vampyre was managing to glide alongside him. Kira didn't feel like keeping up and Crow just couldn't. An Officer Jenny or two questioned his age, but he pretty much just gave them the finger and they didn't feel like pursuing him. They rode through a graveyard, and Ryan ignored the ghost pokemon drifting about. None of them were interesting.
To the center of the graveyard was the five story tower. He leaned his bike against a tree and had Lulu lay a quick aura-curse upon it so that no one would steal it. Vampyre followed him and Lulu into the tower. The pair took note of a man and some girl. Were they supposed to approach the two?

Naano was surprised by Esme's help, and couldn't help but smile at her. It was a small thing, but it actually made her feel a little better.
At Ayato's words, she looked down at her right hand which she had punched him with. She chuckled "Oh he was. He was the most fearless, caring, and intelligent man. My grandfather trained fire types and fighting types" smirking she continued "Ironically ice's major weakness." Returning her eyes to her hand, she noticed a bruise. Honestly she didn't feel anything, but she hid it under the bar counter leaving only her left to hold the cup of Dr. Pepper she was drinking from. "One day, I was impressed by the moves he was teaching a Mankey. I'd always wanted to know how to fight, especially because of.....well that doesn't matter." she stammered the last part quickly. Clearing her throat she continued "So he taught me. I think I was eight at the time. But since then I'd been practicing." Pointing to his lip she commented "I could have hit you much harder you know. If I angled my arm differently and switched up my stance you'd have a few broken teeth.". She smile slightly "But I held back...". Taking a sip from her soda, she looked into the bar mirror. Her eyes had darkened up a bit. It was probably just the lighting. Sighing, she accidentally said out loud "I really miss him....". Noticing what she had just done, she blushed and shut up.

Ryan shrugged, and Lulu studied Aki's aura closely. He seemed like a regular person. She looked and chuckled at Ryan's attempt to be polite to another human. "I'm just around." he answered. He gave Lulu a nasty look for laughing at him. Naturally, she laughed more.
What he wants to ask is how does this place work and where are the rare Pokemon? Lulu told Aki.

Ryan was slightly disappointed. There are dead people everywhere and ghost Pokemon can go through walls...might as well examine the tower. The boy shrugged and nodded. He then nodded again, albeit awkwardly, at Aki and began to transcend the steps to the second floor.

The woman had pale skin and hair the color of fresh fallen snow. She held the small blue haired boy close. She kissed his nose. " I love you dearly." She'd tell him. "You were destined to be a powerful and great man, like your father was." She'd say. Holding him close, resting his head against her chest.The sound of her heart beat calmed him as the snow danced around them.

Naano listened intently at Ayato's story. It was sad to see him cry, and she put her hand on his shoulder. "Aya..." she had to choose her words carefully because she knew of the disease, as well as snowpoint's lack of medical advances. His mother's chance of survival were slim. "I know it's hard, I lost my mother too. Twice if you want to be specific. But I'm sure she'll be fine, she sounds strong and resilient." She continued to placed the words in her head together "And I'm sure that her love for you will keep her going." Smiling warmly, she gently moved one of his hands from his face. At this point she believed that she was telling him the truth. "I bet you that when you go back home, she'll be there waiting for you.".
She wanted so badly to tell him that he should be glad he was at least able to say good bye. That he at least had a mother that loved him no matter what. But she didn't. Naano thought all of her emotions had gone, but it seemed like the exact opposite. Her face was solemn, and her eyes were showing pain. Her heart felt retched, and her mouth was reassuring.
She didn't know what brought her to do this, but she added in "I promise.".
And it was sincere, it was unknown how Naano could have believed herself. But she felt deep down that love like that could persevere.

[Lulu and Ryan transcended the steps to the next room of the towering tower (puns). Before them was a twisting maze of corridors and hallways lit by no substantial light source. Ryan smiled slightly - he enjoyed puzzles. They reminded him of the times he spent searching through the forests near his hometown of Snowpoint.
Multiple ghost Pokemon passed by, but none that really jumped out at Ryan. They minded to themselves. They didn't jump out in another way, either - none of them looked like great Pokemon to have on a team. Ryan swore he saw the glittering eyes of a Sableye and grabbed at a Pokeball to catch it, but it shrank away to the shadows. He sighed and put his left hand the left side of the maze, tired of it already.
Who was Rachel? Lulu asked as they walked. Ryan turned his head and examined her expression, which was as blank as his own. He turned back and watched where he was walking. As was customary, he didn't respond for a while. "After I raised enough money to travel through the different regions, I met Rachel in Kanto. She was 14 at the time. We traveled until we had explored most of Unova. She went on to be a Gym Leader in Hoenn, having liked it so much." Ryan finally replied. Lulu was interested.
I didn't think you could tolerate a person for 5 years. She commented. Ryan went a little stiff. "At first, it was simply because she had Pokemon. I've always liked Pokemon and Pokemon have always liked me, but I knew that I needed some form of protection." he told her. Lulu looked at him in the following silence. He did not explain why he stayed with the girl for so long, and she did not push for it. ]

Naano pat Ayato on the back once more, and said "I'll be right back, I just need some air.". As she walked outside, she pulled the necklace out from under the collar of her black shirt. It shined brightly in the moonlight and Naano thought of the day she had given it to Ryan.
Ryan....
She balled her left hand up into a fist and placed it against her chest, looking towards the ground. Oh Arceus it hurt so bad... To keep herself from crying, she bit down hard on her lower lip. Soon she could taste the metallic flavor of blood on her tongue. Eventually she gasped for air, not realizing that she was was holding her breath, and noticed the shiny coat of a Lucario. It quickly disappeared, but she still saw it.
"Why are you following me Lulu?" She said in a soft tone.

[Ryan walked through the labyrinth and yawned. He released Kira to walk with him and Lulu. She could smell something with blood coming from a mile away. Ryan wasn't sure if ghost Pokemon had blood but he was a little creeped so whatever. Lulu eventually walked in front of Ryan. He gave her a questioning look. "I'm going to go somewhere for now.I trust that you'll be safe?" she asked. Ryan nodded. "Of course. Go...do whatever you do." he said.
Lulu nodded and teleported away into the town. She wandered a bit until she felt Naano's aura. She teleported closer, into the trees. Lulu realized she was standing right in front of the tree rather than within the branches and quickly scaled up the trunk, but she knew that Naano had seen something. She let out a sigh and dropped to the ground at Naano's question. She didn't approach the girl but simply watched her from where she stood. "I'm concerned for you, Naano."]

"Concerned!" She scoffed, but then caught herself and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound like that..." covering her forehead with her hand, she asked "Is Ryan OK?" She looked towards the Lucario. Her eyes were full of so much pain and longing. All she wanted right now was to be holding on to Ryan, but something inside of her knew it wasn't ever going to happen again.
"Does...does he hate me?"
All she could think about was Ryan saying 'I love you' when they kissed. Oh Arceus who knows how many times she replayed that in her head. Not able to look at Lulu anymore, she covered her eyes as she silently wept. She'd never felt what she had with Ryan before in her life, and it broke her heart. Naano tried to hide it when she could but now, with Lulu standing right there, it just wasn't possible. "I messed it all up again....". She hated herself, she hated herself so much. She was a screw up, an inconsiderate screw up who didn't think before she acted.
Naano tried to hold back the tears, but couldn't. All she could muster out was "I'm pathetic."

[As Ryan walked through the maze, he heard the sound of rocks slamming against a floor. It came from a little room that was within the maze. Ryan looked down at Kira then walked towards the room.
Lulu placed her hand on Naano's face and wiped away the tears that came. "He did not leave because you did something wrong. He left because he wants you to be happy...in the long run" Lulu struggled with her words, because they were confusing. "Ryan hates Ayato. And he knows that he will always fight with Ayato. Always. And he also thinks that you will begin to develop feelings with the man because he was there first. He knows how much you hate conflict...so he figured if he left it would help things in the long run." Lulu brought her hand down. She was slightly sad. "I don't think Ryan will ever stop loving you."]
