What was this glorious stand before the pink haired demon. Charlie could only look in awww at the flashy colors and buttons and pads and COLORSSSSS. It looked to be some dancing thing. Charlie held his treat from the arrow stand over his head and went to town randomly dancing. He did not do bad but did not do exceptionally well either. It didn't seem to bother Charlie to much. He was just wanting to dance!

He gave Mei a lopsided smile and shook his head a little. "Is that just your way of saying that I'm better off without him?" It was really the first time Alex had talked about it with anybody, not including his mom, though even she only got a very small explanation of events, and only just before she came to the school to see him for Fright Night. Maybe this would be good for him.It certainly couldn't make things much worse, could it? "I suppose you're right, anyways." He admitted, gaze flickering away to watch the newest student to come up and play their game. And he supposed maybe he really was better off. After all, most of the progress they had made relationship wise had been rocky at best. But it was thinking about the good times that made it so much harder, and more painful. No, remembering the good times certainly didn't help. Not yet, at least. And...it wasn't like Yin was gone. No, Alex ran the risk of seeing him every single day. A painful reminder of what he had screwed up. "Wanna play the game when it's not busy? Just for fun?" He asked, nodding towards the machine.

She propped her chin in one hand, letting her shades slide back down her nose this time without pushing them back up. For a short moment she stared up at Alex with those dark brown eyes, a little smile curling the corners of her lips. "Yin is dumb for ever breaking up with you. You are a great guy Alex and any boil or ghoul should count themselves lucky if they ever got the kind of devotion that you gave to him. Even if you don't think so I do. And you need to stop beating yourself up over it. Some people are meant to be and some just aren't, but there is no fault in trying to give it a go." The ghoul shrugged. Hopefully she wasn't making the situation worse. Mei most certainly wasn't the guru of relationships. Half the time she felt as if she were grasping in the dark with her own. Propping her feet up on the edge of the counter she pushed herself back, leaning her chair onto it's back two legs. Placing her hands behind her head as she stretched out her legs and back with a light groan. "You wanna get your butt beat in front of a larger audience eh?" Leaning forward, she hopped to her feet, lifting her arms over her head and bending her body side to side in more stretches. The chair she was sitting in rocked back and forth before it settled down on all four legs again. "Alright I'm game. I can never pass up an opportunity to kick your keester at DDD."

" I don't want to challenge you in anything", Eisheth replied smiling. " Besides, I'm quite sure you're much better than me in dancing: it's obvious, that's the thing you love, and I'm only learning". Yet, the alchemist felt a bit uneasy she didn't manage well: she would like her ghoulfriend to proud of her, and not embarrassed. May be it's really a good idea to take some classes? " All right, look, I will my best", now Eisheth decided to do it properly. The only problem was, she had no idea of proper moves, so when she chose the next song, she simply tried to copy the moves Mei had shown her during the Prom. TOTAL SCORE: 28

He listened to what Mei had to say, and cringed a little, eye closing as he turned his face away. "No Mei, don't say that. I seriously am the one who screwed things up. I was always the one who screwed things up." It felt awful, knowing that maybe he could have just prevented it by being a little more thoughtful, or by thinking things through a little better before acting. He knew that anything he had done had been in hope of helping, and that none of it had been purely out of selfish intentions, but...he could definitely see where that might not have been the impression given. In any case, it was over now. There was no going back, and it certainly didn't seem as though there was going to be any chance to fix things. "Okay, lets do this." He perked up a little, pasting a smile on his face even if it didn't quite feel right. The serious talk needed to end, and fun times needed to begin anew. He stood up and did a few stretches of his own while he waited for Mei's friend (he refused to think of the horsewoman as Mei's ghoulfriend. Mei was far too young for a ghoulfriend. They were friends, and that was all. He was much happier if he deluded himself into thinking that way) to finish up her game. "All right, but this time, I get to pick the song." Alexander announced as he stepped on up to the machine, waiting for Mei to get up on the platform beside them before they could begin. The song had such and eerie and creepy quality to it, Alex loved it! But he did have some trouble keeping up, especially with the strange beat. Still, he was pretty proud of his score once it got to the end. Score: 31

"Aww you're no fun Eishe." She pouted lightly at the Horsewoman before grinning. "Of course, I wouldn't want to challenge you in potion making so I guess we are even." Looking at the score she had gotten, Mei nodded in approval. "Geeeeettin better. I might hafta watch myself or you'll become a DDD pro!"She dropped the previous heavy topic of conversation between her and Alex for now. The Festival wasn't the place for such things. Besides, the agreed they'd speak more later anyhow. Now. Now it was time to play! Stepping up to the pad she shook her head with a sigh at the song the boil had chosen. But once the song began her body moved and flowed with the beat. Feet touching each arrow in time. It was a neat song, odd, but neat. Once they were done she scrunched her face lightly at the scores. "ONE POINT!? You beat me by one point! Ah! You are playing with me aren't you Alex?" She pointed a thin finger at him. "Lets go again. This time I will pick the song."Score: 30

He offered her a wide grin in response, his earlier heartache momentarily forgotten about now that he was doing something that he enjoyed. His mom had even come back to watch, a warm smile on her face as she took a seat in the chair that Mei had vacated, likely to keep an eye on things while they played. "I have no idea what you mean." he said, all innocence as he reached out to push her finger back down. "Okay, fine, you're on. Pick away!" He waited patiently for her to choose another tune.

Crossing her arms over her chest, she gave him a suspicious look from over the rim of her shades. "Uh huh. Sure. Just you wait." She used her finger as a pretend gun and shot at him playfully before turning towards the booth.Smiling, she gave a small wave to Alex's mother before stepping back up to the game. Tapping her foot a few times against the arrow before she finally picked a song. It wasn't super fast but it wasn't super easy with it's steps either. As the song began once more she moved with the beat, touching each arrow and racking up combos left and right. Mei liked this song. Score: 31

It didn't matter which song Mei picked. Alex was totally on his game today, he could just feel it. This was really the best way for him to get his mind off of things and it was working stupendously. The new game started up, and he only too easily matched Mei, step for step, his own combos racking up his score. Apparently fake shooting him before their match would do nothing to psyche him out. When they were finished, he glanced at the scores, then offered Mei another very innocent look and a shrug.

"What was that?" Leaning in towards Alex she cupped her ear with one hand. "You want to buy me a Scarecone for letting you tie with me? Oh well, that just goes to show you how humble I can be sometimes." Laughing, Mei rubbed at her inner thigh absentmindedly. Right where the Horseman mark was. She forgot about it from time to time. "You wanna really get spanked in a third game or are you done, Mr. Innocent?" The ghoul could still go for another game. Jack, she could go all night playing DDD until her feet fell off. Well, hopefully it wouldn't come to that! Mei liked her feet, but she liked DDD too. But then they also had the booth to run even though there weren't that many people standing about waiting to play the game. But hey! What was a little fun every now and again at the expense of waiting patrons if she could just get Alex to smile more.

Her first try wasn't ABSOLUTELY horrific, though she still could of done better. Well, she had fun, and that was all that mattered, right?
She wiped her brow and looked around the booth. OH, MORE FREE STUFF~
Reaching over, she picked up one of the grab bags and peeked inside. Ooh, SO MANY GOODIES! Was that... a bat hairclip? And OH OH, ANOTHER BUTTON. How she loved buttons. She clipped it to her skirt next the to "JD for Treasurer" button she had picked up at the previous booth.
The smell of something sweet caught her attention, and she turned her head toward the smell. Ooh, treats! She looked up at the zombie, and when offered the treats, she popped one of the cookies into her mouth without a moment's hesitation, munching happily.
"Thanf kyuu!" she mumbled, crumbs falling out of her mouth. She looked to the side and noticed ties. Ooh! Using the clawed hand that wasn't holding the grab bag, she picked the blue tie up and looped it around her head.
Well, she had lingered at this booth for long enough, and- OOH, BRACELETS. Mayaa pointed excitedly at one.
"Can I have one in orange, yellow and red?!"
Yayoi Mayaa likes free stuff, yes she does.

Anthe walked into the booth with the DDD game set up. This game was quickly becoming very addicting. She stepped onto the playpad and danced her heart out. When she finished and heard her score she was impressed. She hadn't scored that horribly. Pleased with her decent dancing Anthe left the booth satisfied.
