After a brief squabble, a bite to his fingertip and some language that didn't bear repeating, Aedan missed the scrags...barely. So close, and yet...so far!
There was a soft squeak as the scrags...was no more. Blinking once, Aedan looked to the booth host. "Assuming I understand the rules correctly, that counts as a win, I believe?"I'm the scrags master, I've mastered the scrags! I am winner #3 today! My SN is: Vashtya((Let me know if I did that wrong! Faint spied scurrying scrags and was all up for that. The original goal had been to actually play the game - he was smart enough to understand he was supposed to catch them and put them back in the box or whatever - but once they were all loose and scurrying everywhere, that plan went out the window. He went down on all fours, butt in the air and wiggling, tail twitching, and he dashed after the scrags with a look of intense glee. He did catch one, but he immediately rolled over and began tossing it into the air.
It was a pretty big fail.

Apparently, he'd spent far too long playing with the scrags, because a boil he vaguely recognized (A field trip, perhaps? All he knew was that he definitely knew those delicious looking antennae) began collecting them. Just as he was tossing the scrags he had caught in the air again it was snatched on its journey back to his hands and put in the box.
The noise that left his throat was suspiciously similar to a mix of growl and whine.

Azmodel was back for some pest grabbing. Last time was an epic fail, but maybe she would be more lucky this time around. She wasted no time and started right away. But, well, the scrag escaped just the same. After growing mushrooms in a dark corner for a while, the ghoul left the booth.

Yin stared after the ghoul. She had left so soon, no one had even had a chance to capture the escaped scrags. And were those mushrooms in the corner?! Those looked new... "Thank you for coming?" he called after her. Az-san Don't forget to play the safety net as per the rules! Also, if you do lose at this stage you still get the green I tried! sticker~

Nuk was into gambling. And rainbow-colored things, but that was a completely different story that they would NOT bring up at this time, and was best forgotten. At any rate, this put him at the rather interesting disposition of being addicted to these games, not the last of which was the maze which had caught his attention. This was, in all likelihood, because it reminded him of scragraces that he'd often (illegally) bet on, something which appealed to his rebellious-macho-thug attitude.
Whatever the reason, the skinwalker paused for a second as he walked past, eyeing the game with interest as a few others played, glowing amber eyes flickering over the scrags and the maze before he slowly turned himself back towards the booth, padding silently forward on bare feet to check it out. It didn't seem rigged... but he'd never met Yin, so for all he knew the guy played dirty. He did look like a bug, after all. Still, in all fairness, it cost nothing for him to play, so even if he didn't win, what did he lose? The answer was nothing, but a little time, and that he was more than willing to waste on frivolous things.
Grabbing a scrags, Nukpana set it by the entrance of the maze, nudging it forward with the backs of his fingers.

So far, catching the scrags seemed not too difficult. Looking around before shifting into his wolf form (he hadn't read the rules of the festival, so he wasn't sure if he was actually allowed to use his natural form or not,) the skinwalker took off into the maze after the minipet, sniffing the air for a moment before turning, twisting through the maze only to scoop it up into his jaws at the last moment. He was a little rusty, it seemed; it had almost gotten away from him.
Still, the boil was pleased with himself, his maw spreading into a wolfish grin.
On to tier two!

Teir two was harder, but Nuk faired no different in this one than the first. This time, however, the skinwalker decided to take his time, playing around with stalking and toying with his 'prey' for the sheer pleasure of it. Teasing the scrags this time, he let it think it was nearly safe before grabbing it by the tail at the last instance, the poor creature weezing in fear as it hung from the black wolf's mouth.
On to the third tier!

At the third tier, Nuk was feeling pretty confident, and was having quite a bit of fun with this. He would certainly come back later to play again.
"Thanks man," he nodded his head to Yin, leaning against the booth nonchalantly, "Ever considered scrag fighting?" Giving the other student a toothy grin, it was hard to tell whether or not the devious skinwalker was teasing or not.I'm the scrags master, I've mastered the scrags! I am winner #1 today! Please link to this post when you claim your prize~ Yin tried not to judge the boil for shifting into his natural form in plain view, he had more than realized that outside of the Mantodae it was not considered rude to shift like that. Still the shock factor never quite wore off, he could not imagine doing a full shift while someone was watching! Though at least the shifting convinced Yin that this boil was not a hunter in disguise, he was fairly certain they could not shift like that. Yin gave him a tentative grin. "Scrag fighting? I have not met a scrag worth the trouble of fighting..."

If Nuk noticed the way Yin was looking at him, he certainly didn't show it. The skinwalker was all seedy grins and waggling eyebrows, doubly so when it seemed the mantis wasn't sure what he was talking about. Which wasn't unusual -- it wasn't something that decent people participated in. He was pretty sure it was probably illegal too, although at the school it certainly wasn't done to the death. And to be fair, the minipets were never REALLY hurt or anything...
"Scrag fighting, you know... pit two scrags against each other, have them brawl it out, bet on which one you think'll win..." Nuk grinned, nudging the other boil a bit, "No? Ah, you're too good a guy, clearly. Name's Nukpana, Nuk for short."
Extending his fist for a fistbump, the other student waited for the other boil to introduce himself.

"But I do not gamble, so I could not participate in that."He gave Nuk a small bow in acknowledgement. "Greetings Nukpana, I am Yǐn Cáng, though most here in Amityville simply call me Yin." He tensed slightly as a fist was raised but the boil seemed to be...waiting? It was not like a high five so...Yin just kind of stared for a moment and raised his own fist to mimic him.
