  Ushi walked out of Death City a little ways so it was just in sight but far enough that that they couldn't miss fire and hurt someone. "okay, put that out and lets get started...." Ushi said trying not to attack Lin for smoking. "so how do you want to do this?." Ushi asked as she turned away and stretched while clamping her hands together above her head. "do you want to work on improving our fighting, or work on our soul residence and work on the family's skill?" Ushi asked, waiting for Lin to answer. Ushi kneels down to the point were she was only on her toes and moving her right pointer finger through the sand. "things seem different from back home.. you were more open minded then you are now, what happen?."  Lin followed Ushi out of the city and had lit up a second smoke. Pulling a final drag on the half finished cigarette, she dropped it and ground it into the dirt with her foot. She sighed at the question about what happened. “Mom and Dad happened. They don’t really care about me. They care about their reputations. A daughter that runs away, gets hurt, speaks her mind and is essentially a lesbian looks bad for them and they try their hardest to ‘cure’ me of my ‘rebelliousness’. It’s annoying and honestly, a bit hurtful. But, lets not focus on that, it’ll throw us off our game.” A palpable pause hug in the air before she finally answered the first question. “Let’s warm up with combat and work our way to resonance.” She would take the next couple of minutes to stretch and popped her fingers. “Let me know when you’re ready.”

Ushi stood straight up and sighed. "if that's true why didn't you just leave sooner...." Ushi stated. before turning around facing Lin. "if you really felt that way why didn't you leave before things got so bad in their eyes?" Ushi asked as she let out a small sigh getting ready to change. "so should i attack you or are you going to just swing me around like a stick?" Ushi sighed as she shot into air making a bright green light then landing in Lin's hand as a green glow-stick before taking her sky Splitter form. "why don't why get rid of some of that hot air you have built up...." Ushi said jokingly as a reflection of her showed on the golden blade of the axe. "ready when you are." Lin smirked at the retort. “Stop being so cold you hunk of steel.” She was joking of course, it was how she got herself ready to fight. She shifted her weight and gripped Ushi’s handle tight as she began to swing her around. Her movements seemed sloppy at first, but that was because she went slow to avoid damaging her body. As she sped up, the clumsy acrs became fluid and they turned into reversed arcs and deflection jabs. It was unbelievable to most that someone with her build could swing an axe with such finesse. She often used that to her advantage. On top of the general finesse, she was quicker with her sings and recoveries than seemed possible. When she finished with that particular routine, she rested Ushi on her shoulder. “You wanna try some of your techniques?”

[  Trey adam's As Trey walked through the endless desert he was thinking(aww man i haven't found death city yet am going to die out here -a voice whispers keep going...- Man this isn't good voice now im hearing voices in my head now . Im probably dehydrated or something and the water ran out . Perfect now im seeing a city . An illusion made by my mind.... WAIT A CITY MABY THAT'S IT ) he got up and started to run towards the grand city with all of his remaining energy wondering what happens now hmm id better find the academy first and a weapon too :/ .....wonder who il meet first

"it sounds like fun and plus when was the last time we went and had fun at a party anyways, well that wasn't planned by our family or formed around them?." Ushi asked as she left Lin's hand and transformed back into her human form. "Huh who's that?" Lin shrugged. “Sure, we can go.” She then turned and her foot slipped on a loose stone, causing her to stumble in front of the boy. as he tripped, he crashed into her and she fell back and groaned in discomfort. “Ow! Ushi watched everything happen as she stood off to the side a bit. "will you stop that Lin, it's rude and by the looks of it her needs water.." Ushi said as she kneel slightly and grabbed his head pulling it out of the sand. "lets get him into town then we can leave, okay." Ushi said with a small grin, as she rolled the boy over so he wasn't breathing in the sand anymore. Ushi looked up at Lin with her evil grin on her face. "you carry him." Lin stopped and stood off as Ushi rolled him over. She rolled her eyes thinking, Of course he needs water. The idiot ran through the desert without supplies. At the mention that she’d carry him, she went rigid. “Like heck I am. He got himself into trouble by being an idiot like all boys do. I’ll give him water, but I sure as heck am not carrying his stupid butt, besides, he weighs more than I do.” She saw the grin and knew Ushi would persist until she broke. “Fine, I’ll help him walk. But we’re listening to Metal without headphones the entire way.” She sat on her knees with the bottle of water and pinched his nose. She waited until he would gasp for air and handed the bottle to him. “You are an idiot among dunces. No one enters a freaking desert without supplies. If they want to live anyhow. If I seem rude, then deal with it, men are all idiots in my view and only do stupid things. Well, in general. Earn my respect by actually proving you can use that thing between your ears and I might have something nice to say. Now get your butt off the ground, you need a ton of water. And don’t take too long, my cousin and I are wanting to go to a party.” She stood and turned away. Lighting up a smoke, she removed the earbuds from her music player and cranked up the volume as Indestructible played. She then pulled out another of her seemingly endless supply of Mountain Dews and drank some. Her phone went off and she answered it. She suddenly seemed like a different person, speaking sweetly and cooing into the receiver. Finally, the awkward call ended. “K Clair, talk to you later sweetie.” She finished with a kiss into the receiver and cranked the volume of her music player up again as she hung up. “Whenever you’re ready...”

Lin pulled him to his feet and wrapped his arm over her shoulders. “This is your only freebie. Next time I find you in a desert, I’ll just throw you some water and leave. God, you weigh more than I thought, start helping out would you.” Just then, she winced and fell to her knee as she gripped her side. “Gah! Why is it I can swing you around Ushi, but as soon as I lift something else, my side hurts?!” Turning away from the boy, she lifted the side of her shirt a few inches and saw a bruise forming. “D***ed bull! Look, an old injury is acting up, if you can’t walk, you’re screwed. If I try anymore, I’ll seriously injure myself.” The bruise lay exactly where the bull had hit her. The doctor said that it would probably act up in the future and over-exertion could lead to hemorrhaging. She knew if she tried to help him walk any more, she’d end up in bed for at least a week. She pulled out a bottle of pills, prescription painkillers, and swallowed two with some Mountain Dew. She sat still for a minute until the meds kicked in. If the boy made any attempts to help her, she’d brush him off.
