[ raffle preference list: Acha eggu (because Edge would try to eat all the other things and that's against the point crying ]Edge was, as she often (perhaps too often) was, looking for a good time. One would think it might be harder to come by, having established a more permanent territory and trying to manage her extended family and growing clan, but that never stopped her- particularly when fun was to be had at a party thrown by two other clans. Diplomacy and debauchery, a delightful combination - she had headed right out. At present, she was munching on the last dregs of her soup, marveling at the idea of dishes and courses and how much effort was being put into the food -- the fact that it was enough to have her finishing the greens was impressive in its own right. The circus of hounds had been mildly entertaining as well, though a waste of their talents in her opinion (had she been able to see them working in their true element, she would have heartily approved, but alas she was currently unimpressed by the troupe). For now, she was more interested in the cuisine, and whether or not this tribe could work something equal with meat. A buck was passing through the guests, collecting drained shells. One of the waitstaff she presumed, and she nudged her shell into his path. "It was delicious," she informed him with a smile, but her eyes were appraising. "Might I ask what the future courses will contain?" Baby was here out of ambition. Admittedly, the food was delicious, and she had said as much with a coquettish flutter of her eyes as one of the waitstaff cleared away her soup shell, but she was here for the performances, for the Troupe's first big show. Rumors of the Royal Rainbow Troupe (what sort of name was that, anyways?) had been flowing through the swamp, reaching her own ears, and while she had first disdained them, it seemed that she was in the minority. Interested, and entertaining her own ideas of the respect she would get from belonging to an illustrious performing troupe (the first of the Swamp!), she had come to see, and the doggy circus had not disappointed her as yet. However, she still wanted to see what the Acha themselves were capable of. So she lay with her legs tucked delicately beneath her, facing the makeshift stage, a diminutive ball far smaller than one would expect of her species. She made no effort to approach anyone, she was merely here to observe at present, but her green eyes took in everything with a fervor that belied her apparent disinterest. ((RP is welcomed, but no one feel pressured to talk to Baby! Just putting her in because she's here at the moment ^^))

He turned at the endearing voice and found a charming smile, of which he immediatedly returned - especially at the statement. " It certainly is the place to be...I should know, I founded it!" He laughed, and reassured " oh no, little miss - it's only just begun, though I'm afraid you've missed a rather splendid puppy show. There're many more performances to come from the Royal Rainbow Troupe though!" Rise nodded towards the flaming pit, and said, " you're just in time to sample all the food! We've still some soup left, it's a beautiful seafood concoction. May I seat you and serve you some?" With a gentle bow, he ushered her to a patch of grass and awaited her approval.

She blushed, not realizing who she was talking to. "I wish to have seen them, but the food sound wonderful. Thank you." She walked to where the buck was showing her. "I am glad to hear there will be more. What made you think of this?" Her legs folded under her, to watch and wait.

"Flame, drink your soup." "But-" "Just drink it, then you can tell me ALLLLLLLL about it, ok?"
The doe paused, pondering this offer, and finally dipped her head into the turtle shell, guzzling the now-cold soup.
Fire sighed, shaking his head while watching her. He had already finished his soup quite some time ago (he couldn't really help himself. It was just SO good), and watched silently as Flame slurped loudly, munching away at the bits of shrimp, and finally raised her head, licking her lips.
"MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, that was really good! I wish the soup wasn't so cold though... But the shrimp was really tasty! And, and... those other bits. Fish? Wow, I've never really had fish before... well, I guess BOTH of us haven't really had fish before, since we don't really live near the sea or anything, but... wait, I guess there are ponds, and-"
"You were going to tell me something?" Fire quickly interrupted, knowing that once she started talking about something, she NEVER stopped. The only solution was to change topics... repeatedly. "And it wouldn't of been so cold if you had drank it right away..." he added quietly.
Flame blinked, her train of thought interrupted, then brightened up again, stomping the ground once more. This time, actually knocking over the now-empty turtle shell.
"OH OH! Yes, the puppies!!! Eeeeeee, they're so cute!! And and, such pretty colours! I really like that red one. Oh, and and, that big one, that looks kinda see-through. Isn't it neat! I've never seen a see-through pet before. But even though it's see-through, you can't go right through it! I was watching one of the puppies stand on top of it. It's so neat! You can see its paws and everything, and-
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHUGHHHHHHHH!!" Fire yelled, jumping up, startling Flame in the process. Something had brushed against him, and as he stumbled backwards, tripping over the wolf, he crashed into another doe. (OOC: Sorry about that Lolli! I'm not sure if this is what you meant by "getting in her personal space", LOL.)

It was her fault.
Normally Reticent Smiles would never intentionally put herself into a situation where she dealt with large crowds, but-- The whole idea behind her even joining the food empire that was Rise's tribe was that she get over her fear of other kin. That she get over her social anxiety.
... That she get over herself.
So she was there. Music and the smell of cooking food heavy in the air, when a pair of very vibrant twins caught her eye. They were so lovely, the colors on their hides moving like living fire. Ahh~ They even had fire based names and it was just so overwhelming and so wonderful. She had to know more, but couldn't force herself to speak to them.
So she'd lingered. Hovering silently just behind them where she couldn't possibly be noticed. At least not unless one of them moved backwards suddenly-
It was all her fault.
"Oh. Ah. Y-y-yes...?"[A.V.] Don't feel bad! This is perfect. The only way to make Smiles interact is to force her into it. <3

Why did bad things happen to him? Why? He must of done something to upset the Motherfather for stuff like this to happen to him. Yes, that must be it.
He quickly picked himself up, turned around and offered a hoof to the doe he nearly crushed.
"I-I-I... I am SO terribly sorry. I... I guess I got startled by something and it caused me to jump up and stumble back, and- He stopped himself, realizing that the doe probably didn't need to know every single detail of what happened. He was starting to act like Flame, for crying out loud.
Speaking of which... he quickly glanced towards her to see if she was currently busting a gut at his current predicament. To his surprise (or probably not so much), he saw her gushing over the wolf he nearly trampled also, oohing and aahing as it stared at her curiously. He quickly turned his attention back to the doe.
"I... I really am sorry. I hope you're not hurt anywhere, miss?"charLOLLI sheen Ahaha, she probably didn't think she'd be quite so literally "forced" into it. xDD

The buck stopped, elegantly bending his head to drop the shell he was already holding on top of Edge’s empty one with a gentle ‘clink’. He lifted his head, a casual flick shifting the hair that had fallen across his nose, and gave an easy grin at the doe’s question. “Of course.” He was only too happy to recite the day’s menu. “The next course is an appetiser of cold-cuts; smoked salmon and caiman to be precise, completed with perfect accompaniment of sundried plums. The main is a whole boar carcass, roasted to perfection, and complemented by piquant greens and the very finest berries. Last but not least, dessert will be honey-drenched figs flavoured with herbs. ”The Killing Moon watched the doe with a slight tilt to his head, gaze warm and pleasant. “Does that sound satisfactory?”

Rise never passed up the opportunity to encourage repeat visits. " Our partnership is an on-going one - I'm sure if you return to the shop again you'll see the tumbling doggies up close and personal!" As she took her seat, Rise retrieved a shell of soup, chock-full of succulent mussels and fish, from one of his nearby servers, and placed it gently before her before continuing the conversation. " Our customers always drive us to seek new ways of improving the shops experience," He smiled, with a genuinely tender look in his eyes, " but I must admit that we've had some happy occurrences lately! We were approached by the Royal Rainbow Troupe, and I came to own a fire salamander..." It might've been dangerous to ask, for his sentimentality was now at full blast. " And so this party came together. It's been a long, wonderful journey to our current success." He paused as he caught sight of the shell once more. " Thank you for asking - please, don't let my chattering distract you from our soup! I do hope you'll enjoy it." With that, he thanked her once more and returned to the fire pit. SilverShieldwolf The 2nd course is coming, so she can enjoy her soup and you can claim your ticket for this interaction! 8D

Her golden eyes lit up at the prospect of meat, and she had to admit the buck's description was positively mouthwatering despite her not knowing what smoked or roasted would taste like. The buck sold it well, though, as was most likely his job, and she nodded to his immaculately polite query. "Thank you, look forward to it," she said with a grin. "Did the you gather all the ingredients yourselves?" The question was partly out of curiosity, partly from a thought- perhaps a supply of fresh meat might warrant a bit of catering... should the courses prove as delicious as they sounded of course.

"It. It was p-p-probably just the wolf they use t-to add to the-" Then she followed his gaze and noticed his sister already fawning over the creature and smiled shyly. "T-that one."
She really should apologize, but then that might mean explaining to the nice buck that the only reason he stumbled into her was because she was getting a bit too curious about him. Like a creeper.
"H-hurt? Ah. No. Uhm, you didn't l-lose any of your food or drink did you?"

"We have many suppliers who each specialize in gathering specific ingredients for us. As for me, I took part in the very difficult and time-consuming task of berry picking." He answered, another smile hiding the shrewd twinkle in his eyes. "We hope this event well help spread word of our shop even further then before, which of course means we will be on the look out for even more suppliers in order to meet demand…" It was good to spread a seed of thought into as many kin as he could. You never knew what you might find.

"Food?"
It took him a moment to register what she was asking, and he quickly shook his head. He wondered if the waiters would of been chastised if this had happened, which might of been the cause of her stuttering.
"Ah, no, no, we had just finished our food. Please don't worry about it." He paused. "The food was mighty delicious though. My compliments to the chef."
He heard his sister laugh, and turned to see Flame giggling and nuzzling the wolf. He hadn't really seen a wolf before, especially this close up.
"This wolf..." he asked, turning his attention back to the doe. "Might I ask who its owner is?"

At his words she smiled again, this time almost sly as she caught the look in his eye, so similar to her own she couldn't not recognize it. The prospect intrigued her, the Killstone did often end up overflowing after all, and that they might be open to it as well... mm. "Indeed..." was all she said, and was all that really needed to be said, in absence of judgement and further authority. A nod of thanks was given for taking her shell, before she let her attention turn forwards again, thinking of what it meant to smoke something. Ruriska I think that does suffice? :O I want more RP with Killing Moon sometime, he is lovely <3 TICKET, PLEASE!

Oh, if only she had the courage to tell him. Looking away nervously, she muttered something vague about 'not mentioning it'. "I. I will be suuuure to let them know?" Why was she so bad at socializing?! "One of the chefs is our leader? You might see him around ..."
She glanced quickly back to the direction of his sister and the wolf who's fir she was now nose deep in and laughed despite herself. It was always a joy to see such happiness that an animal could bring. "I believe it may belong to one of the performers."
A sentence without stuttering! Her eyes got bigger and she shuffled her hooves. "I'm sorry," she spat out. "You wouldn't have hit me if I hadn't been eavesdropping on the two of you. It isn't p-professional."

"Mm..."
Fire nodded, making a mental note to find out later, since he was pretty sure Flame would pester him to nonetheless.
"Ahh?" he laughed. "I'm afraid it probably wasn't very interesting. And no, I really should of been more careful..."
He smiled at the doe, appreciating her sincerity. She was just so sweet.
"Say, I never got your name... how terribly impolite of me to go rambling on without addressing you properly."
