@Chibi ;; I'll take a look into that. I know when I got an anon message, I thought 'genius. this is soo.. COOOL.' ^____^;;
also, about the photobucket situation, I've been experiencing a lot of difficulties with that site. A lot of graphics shops graphics are nearly all 'removed' or 'deleted' despite the graphics not being touched. I'm actually moving on to imageshack which seems to be a more stable photo hosting site. c:

Sachie Whitby LilChibiusa Sachie Whitby So I've been noticing a lot of problems with photobucket lately... I've seen a mini shop that couldn't send out orders for over a week because the owner couldn't access her own photobucket account, it was horribly slow over the weekend and right now I get nothing but error after error trying to upload things. There's also been situations where the image is there for real but all that displays is an error saying that the image was moved/deleted. Hopefully this won't be a problem the next time the ball rolls around, but these problems have been ongoing. Better overprepared than sorry, so... It might be a good idea for rooms to backup their post styles, images used on the front page, etc on another image hosting site and have the alternate posts for the first page, post styles etc all pre-written just in the horrible situation that they loose access to their account or images decide to not load anymore. I tried to circumvent this problem by having half of my images on one photobucket account, half on the other, and then putting a couple things on my personal one. I figured this wouldn't eat up the bandwidth as quickly. Maybe this might be a helpful solution for other people? Also, if we all decrease our file sizes to help things load more quickly, we shouldn't have as much problem with file size, right? @Viridian - If that isn't against the ToS, I think that would be an awesome way to get the attention of RP veterans who might otherwise ignore us! biggrin I guess I wasn't all that clear. I'm not talking about bandwidth but photobucket itself having issues.... like how I could not upload anything at all to photobucket from 8pm onward. If you waited until the last minute to upload the images pertaining to your thread and run into that issue, you won't be able to upload them until possibly the next day, maybe longer. Or the image is there, but you get an error like this that says the image isn't... I'm only suggesting that it might be a good idea to preemptively also have the images your thread is going to need stored elsewhere, even if it is just a 2nd photobucket account and have things ready so that you can switch over to using those images just in case something happens where your images stop showing up because photobucket decided that they are not there. I hadn't heard of that happening! Thanks for letting us know!

Let me throw this question out there: How do you feel about using subforums for each room rather than making separate planning guilds as in the past? Pros? Cons?
I can start us off on that one, actually. I loved being able to see what everyone else was doing, and get ideas from looking around. It was handy in quickly determining the health of a room, and it made it feel like the rooms were more united. On the downside, it eliminated the ability to send announcements to people just in your room.

I might need to change my settings. lol

Now, I'm a big fan of minimalistic gaia profiles, but I find that the mule "Annual Ball" has a profile that is rather... sparse.
Maybe it can be improved to include things like a link to the current annual ball planning guild, how to get involved with the planning of the next ball, how to join the current ball when it is in progress [just dress your avatar and post away.]
