Aki was just about to draw another kunai but, his brother said to him "No I got him." Jiro then drew his Fuuma shuriken. Aki understood and put his arm down. Jiro then threw the Fuuma shuriken at the snake beast. Jiro was extremely pissed at this point and he took great joy when he saw that the Fuuma shuriken had hit the beast. He smiled widely as he watched it slice him. He then looked over to Kikyo to see if she had awoken in all of the noise.

The Snake beast's eyes went hollow as the Fuuma Shuriken sunk into it's neck, it's life at last coming to a halt as it's wounds from the tags and the Fuuma Shuriken proved to be the end of it, it's cold scaly body falling limp on the stone floor...and remaining motionless... silence save the soft flickering of the camp fire flames returned to the tunnel, and with a final shuddering gasp, the creature was felled. The tunnel was still now, peace returned and as though someone had flipped a switch, Kikyo rose from where she was sleeping with an innocent stretch.




She yawned once more in her innocent way. "What was all that racket about boys? If your fighting over over who gets to cuddle up next to me, I have two sides you know." she tilted her head coyly, as though to emphasize the action before, looking over to see the dead Snake beast, acting surprised. "Oh my!" she seemed to be enjoying herself to much as she moved behind the boy's hugging them in front of her as though for protection. "Did that thing attack while I was asleep!? And you boy's SAVED me!" she really did love this. Men were so easily to manipulate it should have been a national pastime. "Oh thank you SO much!"

They'd done even better than she had been expecting...she had hoped to gauge their reaction to the beast first, before stepping in, but she hadn't even needed to do that much. Once again they were surpassing expectations. But then, she wondered if that better or worse for them to do so... she hid a rather mischievous laugh.

Kikyo gave a smile as the two went back to there original spots, but she herself seeme distracted, turning and looking off down the tunnel, eyes narrowing behind her mask. Just for a second there...she could have sworn that there was... but no. It was probably her imagination. She went back and lay down herself, the silence of the camp restored, and time passed, and morning finally came...

"Hmmmm nin nin! I may be lost...but that's veeeeeeery suspicious! I better tell the captain...or...should I tell the leader...? Or...that guy who's actually the leader...? Hmm...oh! I'll tell all of them!" like a silent, oddly...strange, shadow, a figure moved off back down the tunnel... "Good thing I ran into those people! Who had have thought I was going the wrong way for the past two days? Tee hee!"

Aki and Jiro had finished their food by the time that Aki had estimated they were about halfway through. Aki pulled out the map and checked just to make Jiro happy, "Yeah, I would say about half way there, happy?" Aki said. "Yes, I just wanted to make sure." Aki then put the map away and found himself somewhat bored. They had nothing really to do until they got to the end of the tunnel. Aki found himself staring at the girl time to time. After a while he tempted to spark a conversation, Nice day isn't it?....In this tunnel?" He obviously wasn't doing very good with speaking to the girl or even trying to small talk.

Kikyo Awareness

In the dim light of the gas lamp, the tunnel seems to stretch out endlessly in either direction now, given not the smallest glimmer of light, It seems almost like the belly of some great beast from which you may never escape. You take your meals from the dry rations, you drink the flasks you were able to scrouge together filled with clean water, and you even managed to bring down the monster that attacked you... but it seems as though reaching the end of this accursed tunnel may prove impossible...

However...oddly enough, as you pass by a caved in section of rubble, Aki, something causes you to stop and take notice... a faint breath of a sound, so faint it's almost non existent...but it's there. From the looks of it, you note that Kikyo seems to have detected it as well. Off hand, it seems to be coming from the hidden shadow of the section of rubble. Peering about it carefully...well...that was something you probably didn't expect to see.




There appears to be a rather oddly dressed young girl lying huddled up in the shadow of the rubble, as though this was where she chose to make camp. She is breathing very quietly, but it was surprisingly enough for you to detect her... how odd that you should stumble upon two girls down here...

Kikyo's face seems impassive at the sight of this girl for some reason, reserved, almost...

The girl is sleeping soundly.))

The girl slowly open her eyes, slowly raising them to the boy's in question loitering over her, and then the girl in funny mask. "Huh..?" she blinked sleepily trying to get the drowsiness from her eyes. "Mmmmmm...." she muttered to herself sleepily. "......" she stared at them blankly, before her eyes popped wide a look of childish shock on her face as she pointed at them. "AH! The scary suspicious people!" the girl flipped backwards, landing crouched on the wall, chakra securing her feet to it as she pointed at them frantically. "You better watch yourself! I don't know what you're doing in our basement! But if you don't leave like...right now! Then I'm telling the captain on you! And then the captain will the tell the leader and the leader will tell the guy who's really the leader and then they all come downstairs and beat you uuuuuuuuup!" she continued to point at them with a suspicious glare.



Oh crap. Oh crap oh crap oh crap...what was one of THEM doing here...? And...basement...? Was this girl insane?! Then again...her profile HAD said as Much. Alias: Flonne, former member of the Nippon Pirates and... She twitched slightly. 16 years old. This air head was one year older than her?! There was no way!!! What did they drag her out of a mental hospital?! Still... Kikyo supposed that she couldn't take it easy around this girl...she was powerful, even if she was an idiot, and what was far more disturbing was that she served far more powerful forces...if they were around...then she would have to abandon the mission, and the twins, just to make it out alive...

"Um...excuse me..." Kikyo began.

"Hey kid," Flonne addressed Kikyo as though she was a toddler, despite her own Juvenal behavior "I'm not going to listen to your deceptive words! I hate all woman that aren't the Captain, Yuki, Usa, and the leader. And you aren't any of those! So you can just explode now!"

Kikyo twitched slightly, clenching her teeth in exasperation. Hatred, was probably understatement to what she was feeling right now...

Flonne narrowed her eyes at the boy's. "Hmm...the fact that you're a boy makes me want to believe you..." she admitted. "But it's still really weird for people to be lost in our basement..." she pondered to herself looking back and forth. "Hmm well...I suppose I can let you off the hook this one time." she dropped off the wall and landed on her feet, looking between the two boys. "But you have to agree to get out of our basement! Okay!" Flonne would admit that she was a little confused herself. It had seemed really weird that the new house she had been given had such a big basement. she was just exploring the new house she had chosen, like the captain ordered, and somehow she had wound up here...and then there was that whole monster thing...what ever were THEY doing in her basement...? She supposed pest control was an important part of owning a home.

"The way out is this way..." Flonne pointed in the wrong direction, before blinking. "Uh...I mean...this way!" she pointed at the wall before sweating. "Um....this way!" she finally pointed in the right direction. "Yeah!" it was suddenly very clear how she had gotten lost in a straight hallway...
