"No, no, no!" Fin practically screamed as arrows rained from every angle once again, disrupting all hope of making friends. The trainer hugged Caddie tight to her chest and tried to charge through the barrage – and failed spectacularly. An arrow shot out from low in the wall, flying upward. The Delibird screeched as it left a shallow slice in her leg, but Fin got the full brunt of it. The arrows were petering out, and Caddie flapped wildly past the debris, squawking. "Deliiii! Deliiii!" Fin began to uncurl from where she'd fallen to the floor, one hand pressed around the arrow that was deeply lodged in her side. She wasn't entirely sure that it hadn't hit something vital. None of her organs seemed to be crapping out on her just yet, but, damn, this must be what dying felt like. No. No, no, no. Fin was not going to die here. She was going to get out of this hellhole and she was going to go home and she was going to kiss her boyfriend and, someday, she was going to get back to Johto and Violet City and show her dads how far she'd come as a Pokémon trainer. "Caddie, Enigma Berry." Any other time, she wouldn't have trusted the Delibird not to eat everything in sight, but even that silly bird could tell this was serious. Caddie had been hovering anxiously before Fin's face, and at her trainer's request she scurried around to pry open the pouch dangling from Fin's belt. Obediently, she trundled back around and placed an Enigma Berry before Fin without taking so much as a nibble. "Good girl," her trainer croaked, forcing a grin. With her free hand, Fin lifted the berry to her mouth to bite off most of the fruit, then passed the rest back to Caddie, who devoured it with surprising solemnity. Slowly, the pain dulled. Fin wrenched the arrow from her body with a hiss, but even that felt like barely more than a scratch. Blood dribbled from the wound, but stopped within moments. Even the remnants of her other wounds faded. Fin stood, nearly good as new. Caddie's scrapes and cuts were knitting, as well, and she bounced gleefully into her trainer's arms. "Delibrrr-brrrr!" Fin stroked her Delibird's feathers, closing her eyes for a moment to rest her forehead against Caddie's. And then she looked up, defiant, into the darkness of the temple. "Let's see what else this thing can throw at us," she growled. HP [-50 +∞] [100/100]

Ai hit the ground, pulling Kumiko down with her, for what seemed like the hundredth time. Her skin, already sensitive due to its paleness and the light sunburn she had developed on the deck of the cruise ship, felt like it was developing enough bruises to turn her into a penguin. That, in combination to the fresh cuts caused by the arrows, was enough to make her ache all over. She did not appreciate being jostled about and covered in dirt... She'd probably get an infection at this rate (who knew where those arrows had been?).
Ai's thoughts wandered wildly as panic and fatigue dulled her wits. An interesting time to think about looks, minor discomforts, and infections, when one unlucky arrow could snuff her life out for good.
When the barrage finally stopped and Ai, upon discovering that she was still alive, was able to stand up again (not even bothering to dust off her dirty and torn clothes), she had quite an icy glare for anyone who dared meet her eye. "Would you idiots please watch where you step and what you touch?"
[HP: 55/100] ((Used x2 Oran berries.))
(( Just to let ya know, that is all Ai right there. I love you all and I don't think that you or your charries are idiots. 8D We just have bad luck with those dice, man. But Ai is kind of a b-word, though can you really blame her in this situation? xD ))

For possibly the sixth time in the Galactic grunt's life, she gave Fin a genuine smile. It was laced with a bit of smugness, but that was directed more towards the predicament the two had to meet in. Straighting her arms back to her sides, Cetus trudged on with the group, giving the other a small flip of her hand.
"Think nothing of it," she said, following the gesture by hefting her head over her shoulder. "We all have to make it out of here, yea?"
Her mind told her not to continue the conversation, but her hand reached out reflexively to the other offered member and grasped it lightly without much strength. "I'd say its nice to meet you. Too bad it has to be in a place like this . . . " Cetus lightly laughed with grimace. "I'm Ce- Claramay Pearls and this is Mat."
The Marowak snorted at his partial nickname and a bit of dust blew off the tip of his boney snout. He gave Fin a respectful nod and nothing more, hobbling off to follow the others into the adjacent room. Cetus rolled her eyes at his rudeness, but when she heard his grunt painfully, she slipped her hand out of Fin's and raced towards the other room.
"Oi, Mat!" she cried, hoping to see he was okay, but the only thing to meet her sight was a fray of arrows . . . again.
Mat threw his femur and clattered away the projectiles heading for Cetus. However, upon doing so, he lost his only blunt defense from the arrows headed towards him. Shielding his torso, Mat crossed his arms in front of his chest and held his ground as arrows ricocheted off his skull head.
Cetus plastered herself against the wall, stiffened by fear even after Mat's femur hit the arrows away. With a bedraggled breath, she sloppily made her way over to Mat and checked him for damage. He'd gotten off lightly with some scrapes, but it was still damage and by the way he slumped forward, it hurt like hell.
"C'mon, stand up," she said, grabbing up his femur again and tucking it into his outstretched arm. "And eat."
Mat tried to deny the berries by pushing her hand away, but Cetus's insistence was too much and he swallowed the Sitrus as quickly as he could. The sweet taste was horrendous, but he felt the pain slowly quell.
[85 HP - 20 DMG = 65 HP] [65HP + 30 HP (x1 Sitrus Berry) = 95 HP] [Mat's HP: 95/100]

More poison gas, that was what it could throw at them. So much for nice Ms. Pearls's gift. Coughing, Fin pulled her shirt up over her face and wrapped the hem around Caddie's beak, forging on ahead. HP [100/100] [Poisoned]

Natalie coughed when the poisonous gas fills the room. She felt ill and open her satchel to grab another Lum Berry. She splits the berry and gave one half to Dusty.

The trap spewed a blast of poison gas straight into Cetus's face. As the fumes were inhaled, they fogged up the interior of throat. She began to cough violently and she was persuaded she'd hack of a lung if she didn't cure the problem immediately. Shivering as the coughs disturbed her movements, the Galactic grunt shakily reached into her pocket for a Lum berry. Halfway through pulling it out, she dropped it and it rolled away from her.
Mat raced to it in time and bit off a hunk as the poison fumes dispersed. He than marched up to Cetus and forced the following half into her mouth, instructing her to chew by tapping her cheek. She munched obediently, sticking out her tongue in the end at the bitter taste. At least she'd survive this time.

Ai coughed right along with the others... Apparently, her amazing advice still hand't helped anything, because her group members were still setting off traps. If she died in here because of them... Well, she would try her hardest to come back as a ghost and haunt all of them forever.
After she escaped the poison room, Ai found herself in yet another room... This one empty, luckily.

Cetus's exhaled a sigh of relief. Finally, a room without poison, arrows, or poisoned arrows. The moment was tempting enough for Cetus to grapple up her Marowak and and give him a hug, including spinning in circles and singing. Still, there was always the chance of a trap or doofies in the following room, so Shinju threaded into it as carefully as possible.

Ha! A single Bidoof? After what they'd gone through, this was nothing, poison or no poison. "Caddie, Present!" ... Both Caddie's and the Bidoof's attacks missed completely. "Good try, girl! We'll get 'em next time." Fin & Caddie [95/100] [Poisoned] Bidoof [20/50]
