In Pool Area
Lyle watched Shina swimming. It looked hard with the legs and arms all doing stuff at once, no matter what she said. But she was his boss now, so he figured he ought to at least try. So he grabbed on to the edge of the pool and tried kicking, though he wasn't quite as coordinated at it as her.

Leaving Pool Area. In Daycare.
Natalie exits the pool with Dusty sitting on her head. Natalie could tell she was tired. After the trainer changed her clothes in the changing room, she walked to the daycare center. "Do you want to stay here and rest?"
"{Okay,}" she squeaked and hopped down her trainer's head, she turned around and looked at her trainer, "{Don't forget I'm here though!}
"That was a yes?" Natalie assumed it was and stayed for a little while to watch the Pokemon and children play.

In Pool Area (15) (Pokeball please!) "Great job!" Shina praised. "Remember to turn your feet out a bit when you kick," she reminded. "The more you practice, the easier it gets, too."

Lyle tried turning his feet out more, but he wasn't used to moving that way and it felt weird. He did the froggy kick a few more times, then asked, "How about this? Is this one a stroke?" and started kicking his legs straight up and down, making a rather big splash in the process.

In Pool Area Shina backed away from the vigorous splashing. "Yes, though ideally, you should keep your legs underwater more so you splash less. Keeping your legs in the water helps you move faster too. Want me to show you the arm motions for the froggy kick and the flutter kick you are doing now?" Shina asked.

"But splashing's fun," Lyle protested, and splashed a little harder. It seemed more fun than swimming, really. But he had asked. So he tried kicking more underwater for a bit, then let go and turned to face her. "OK, how do the arms go?"

In Pool Area "The frog stroke goes like this," Shina said, demonstrating slowly and clearly, standing so she didn't actually move. "The other one goes like this." This was harder to demonstrate upright, so Shina swam a few strokes to show Lyle how it looked in the water, then stood again to show him again, more slowly.

Lyle watched Shina show him both of the strokes, and when she stopped he tried one. He did the second one she'd shown, because the kick was easier. But he wasn't very good at it; his arm movements weren't right so that he started sinking almost immediately. Which lead to him flailing around a bit, standing right back up, and taking a deep breath.

In Pool Area "That's okay," Shina said encouragingly. "It takes a few tries to get used to things. Catch your breath and try again." The front crawl's arm motions were too big for Shina to be able to offer to support Lyle, so all Shina could really think to offer was encouragement.

So Lyle took a couple breaths and tried again. He managed to avoid sinking this time, and his movement were better, but still not perfect. He was moving forward very slowly, slow enough that he thought the doggie paddle was faster.

Leaving Daycare. In Arcade
Natalie watched Dusty. Seeing that she seemed happy being in the daycare, the trainer walked to the arcade nearby. Natalie purchased some tokens and walked around, looking for some interesting games to play.

IN THE POOL AREA (2) Jan gingerly entered the water, trusting the lady. Even more gingerly did he relinquish his life preserver, leaving it on the side of the pool and clutching the wall for dear life as he felt the lack of bouyancy very profoundly. "Froggy... Huh..." said Jan, nervously, watching. "I... Guess so?" He splayed hismelf out and tried the kick, somewhat awkwardly and a bit startled when he started to move towards the wall. He watched lyle half sullenly, half enviously. "How do you, uh, stay out of the water?" he let go briefly to try treading water, but he didn't seem to have it down. He scrabbled back at the wall, face red. "Like that?" He blinked. "Wait. Aren't you the lady from the big trip?" His smile grew, though it was wavery as he clung to the wall. "It's been a while!"

IN THE DAYCARE (3) (If I continue on in the CYOA, can i still continue ongoing rp?) Sperra the Manetric was taking her punishment in stride, looking regal despite the children playing with her and tugging at her fur. she looked around at the other pokemon. Was this punishment or reward for them, she wondered? A familiar Emolga leapt from it's trainers head to the ground. "Tric." she greeted him.

Dusty turned around, "{Oh, hello.}" she replied to the Manectric. She wondered why the electric-type wasn't playing with the children she travels around with.
