Choosing Option G

Jeo resisted the lure of the water once again. She was hungry and swimming wouldn't get her fed.

(Visit 2/2)

Sienna was planning to sunbath by herself next to the large pool, but all the reclining chairs were filled! Oh well, she could just join some of the parents near the Children's Pool. As she was walking by she spotted...A pokeball? She could tell it was empty so she decided to keep it. Sunbathing was fun but only after a little while; it got boring without a book or someone to talk to. The birdkeeper decided she'd try some shuffleboard again.

Mat passes by the pool area in favor for the poop deck. Maybe knocking around some Wingulls would help relieve the wait in the med ward.

[C: The Children's Pool! I can't swim!]

Upon reaching the deck, he ducked into the changing rooms. He slipped into his swim trunks, but left his undershirt on. It would dry quickly enough, and since he had left his sunscreen in his room, it would at least lend him a bit of protection.

He couldn't swim well, and decided to join the children in the children's pool. The water wasn't deep at all, and he chuckled at the kids. Surely on this ship there was a beach ball or something for them to play, instead of a pokeball, and he figured that he'd keep an eye out for one.

The kids didn't stay long, and when they left, the pokeball was still in the water floating. He snagged it up, and then checked to make sure it didn't have a pokemon inside. It didn't.

Well, finders keepers, and after a while, he was done with swimming, and made his way out of the pool. He could use a shower and headed in that direction.

Back to the poop deck! Why was this ship so hard to navigate?!

Its a long walk, but they'll get there. Cetus and Mat walk across the deck over towards its poop covered side.

Shirt, old boxers, sandals, and a cane. That was an ideal outfit for outside activities in Mortimers eyes. It didn't show too much, nor did it create much drag in the pool. Speaking of which....

The elderly man eyed the main pool area, and placed his cane down next to the ledge before slowly lowering himself down into the water. Slowly, the elderly man waded towards the middle of the pool, his feet barely touching the pool's bottom as his growlithe watched from the sidelines, too chicken to go into the water. Stupid pokemon.

Mortimer was about to vex Herbert and hopefully convince the pokemon to coming in with him, when something shiny caught his eye at the bottom of the pool. Cuious, the elderly man dived down to retrieve the gold coin.

His wrinkled and pruny fingers grasped onto the round object just as he felt a harsh tug on his trunks. Startled, the elderly man jerked up, his head breeching the water as he gasped for air.

"What in the tarnat----" he started, stopping as a very wet tongue licked his face. Oh. Oh. It was Herbert, not some teen pulling a prank on him. Damned pokemon.

Grumbling, the old man moved out of the water, Herbert following close behind. Time to find something else to do. Maybe there would be something more interesting on the poop deck.

Exit: Poop Deck.

[Option A: Swimming time! 2/2]

Shuffleboard had been a bit more exciting than what she wanted to admit especially the expressions on the old men's faces when they lost. Ah, priceless. Ambling up to an beach chair the tomboy plopped her winged companion down then pulled at her sandals, bending over ever so slightly Silo couldn't help but croon deeply within his chest at the glorious view. This was the best thing to ever happen to him, well besides hatching, that was pretty great too but this was so much better! Wiggling his feathering wing-tips towards the back of her thighs, creamy white flesh just a breath away from his longing touch---

SPLASH!

The solemn, dejected expression that flooded to his face somehow was enhanced by the fact he was completely soaked from his beloved's entrance into the pool. Folding his wings across his broad chest the feathery brute pushed back into the chair and sulked openly.

Meanwhile a train of red stalked River as she moved around leisurely, out of the corners of her eyes her long crimson mop continuous startled her as it fanned out on the surface of the water.

A glint of gold.

Now she knew that wasn't her hair. Suckling down a deep breath the former dancer plugged her nose with her left hand and plunged into the depths. Kicking and paddling down to the bottom River fumbled for a moment with the little speck of precious metal until she had it firmly in her palm. Resurfacing with a loud pop and a gasp the teenager smirked and gave a wave towards her pokemon.

"I need to get the chemicals out of my hair, let's go get rinsed off. And yes Silo you get to see me naked." She affirmed before he even had a moment to ponder the implications.

Lifting his wings to the heavens Silo summoned forth a victory howl that startled several children and made a few older passengers grip their chests.

"AAAAAAARRROOOOOROOOOOROOOO!!!"

"Oh mah gawd Silo, stop that, you're embarrassing me." As quickly as she could River pulled herself over the lip of the pool and rushed towards the pelvic thrusting black lump that was her murkrow, honestly why did she chose him to bring on the trip? Bolting towards the showers with a wiggling crooning hormonal fiend in her slender arms River disappeared from sight and silently prayed no one followed her.

Why did I decide to go to the pool again? Charlotte thought to herself. Of all the ways that a shy person like her could get to know people, stripping half-naked and paddling around like an idiot was the worst! It had been a long time since she had last hung out with other trainers, so she didn't recognize a single friendly face to hover around for safety. She still wanted to do something, though, so she went over to the children's area. Children are nice, right?

"Come on, Glace," Charlotte said to her pokemon, "Let's go wade around in the kiddie pool for a bit!" He happily nodded, and within minutes was paddling around his trainer. Charlotte was content with sitting in the shallow water, splashing at her glaceon a bit while watching some kids toss around a Pokeball. After a while they grew bored, and they left without their toy.

"Hey, wait!" Charlotte called out to no avail. "Hmm... well I guess they don't want it..." She picked up the Pokeball and took it with her. "You know, those kids were talking about how there was a big Wingull problem on one of the decks... let's go check it out, Glace!" With that, she changed back into her clothes and went out to explore some more.

Leo exited the arcade and into the bright sunlight on the deck, and he squinted as he looked around for his Mightyena. He saw her two-toned form - half of it, anyway - before it disappeared around a corner. With a sigh, a rueful smile and a shake of his head, he followed Anjali back around the deck.

Fin Kincade made a beeline for the pool as soon as she'd dropped her luggage off in the cabin. She was sweating like a Spoink in this heat, so cooling down seemed like a great first step.

Geronimo!

Fin tossed Caddie into the pool first, then cannonballed in behind the Delibird. The young woman came up laughing, her hair flopping wetly to one side, but it wasn’t until she looked down into the water that she saw Caddie again. The Pokémon had sunk like a rock and was cheerfully half-swimming, half-walking along the bottom. Fin shook her head, wondering how the silly Delibird had ever survived in the wild.

She dove down again for Caddie, but something shiny on the pool floor caught her eye. Caution never her strong point, Fin kicked herself forward and grabbed for it. She tucked it into a pocket of her swim trunks before wrapping her arms around her Delibird and heading for the surface.

Once they were safely perched on the pool’s edge, Caddie none the worse for wear and attempting to make water angels in a puddle, Fin retrieved her find for inspection. To her surprise, it was quite a large gold coin, like something out of a pirate story. The cruise guide had shown them something similar, and had mentioned treasure, though he’d said it would be on Felicity Island. Maybe he’d had more than the one, and had dropped it.

Fin shrugged, then grinned, pocketing the coin again. Pirates could be fun.
