"I see... well no harm done, and all." Akiko shrugged. She stayed on the ground as the arrancar jumped to the tree branch. She wondered how that was comfortable, and then mentally shrugged. To each their own, after all, it wasn't the worst location she had ever seen. When Sonoka mentioned her comrades in such a manner, Akiko frowned slightly. She could see that they were not the most... subtle of people, but she wasn't complaining. "Well... I suppose it wouldn't do any good for me to just stand around here. Even if I am just here because I was ordered to be, I suppose that I have to take action at some point."
She slowly unsheathed her sword. "I think I'm going to go look for the relic. Let me alone or going to stop me?"
She had a calm smile on her face. A fight here she felt wouldn't be serious. Even if the arrancar wanted to, it wasn't like Akiko would let the battle get prolonged in such a location. Even if it meant going towards the other three, being in an open clearing would be best if it came down to force. But... she had a feeling that even though her blade was unsheathed now, that Sonoka wouldn't respond in kind.

What did she care if the woman had unsheathed her blade or not? It was still a blade, however you looked at it. Sheathed or unsheathed, it made no difference to Sonoka. That was like asking her opponent, did she want to be punched with her left fist, or her right fist? It was the same s**t, either way. She raised her dangling arm until it was parallel to the ground, and pointing to a tree adjacent to the one she was lounging on. "There's the line. Let's see what happens when you cross it." she chuckled. Sonoka already knew full well what action she was going to take. Might as well have some fun with it, in a sort of game. No matter how hard she looked, she wasn't going to find the relic until it actually appeared. The two male numbskulls over there didn't understand, nor did she feel like explaining it to them. Let them have their merry way, while they were at it. Wasn't like there was anything else to do, while she was sitting around here bored. She dropped her arm, though the invisible line still persisted in her memory. Starting to whistle to herself, she laced her fingers behind her head, and waited to see what the woman would do.I just can't standxxxI'll always look backxxxIf I fall downxxxCan I still go on?

The arrancar answered just about how Akiko figured she was gonig to. Sighing she sheathed her sword again. It wasn't like she was gonig to need it. She picked up a rock and tossed it gently into the air and caught it again. At that moment, she point both of her hands right towards the lazy arrancar and said, quickly gathering the tiny amount of energy she needed, "Hado 58 Tenran!"
The large gust of wind she shot was purely to see if she could knock the Arrancar off the branch, just for kicks. She had put just enough energy into it at least that she knew the arrancar was going to be forced to move. It wasn't a challenge, but merely to find some enjoyment in this strange confusing, and yet also incredibly irrelevant situation. Again she had to think to herself... why did it matter that the relic was here? It wasn't like anything that happened would affect her in the end. In the end she would be able to sit at her home and play her video games while eating potato chips.

Turning her limp hand into an open palmed one, she raised it towards the center of the Tenran and fired an ivory colored Cero through it. It cut through the wind like butter, diverting the majority of the wind to either side of her. Sonoka's ponytail started whipping around wildly as she stretched and yawned. Wrinkling her nose after the storm had passed, she gave a little sneeze. "That's pretty damned bad for my asthma..." she muttered, despite the fact that she had no asthma. Leaves started raining down from the tree, as she watched the sight. One fell directly on her forehead, and she blew it off with an aimed exhale of her breath. "You still didn't cross the line yet." she noted, raising a hand in front of her, as if trying to shield her eyes through the cracks of sunlight coming through the branches. The hand promptly came down to smack her thigh with a solid 'thwack', as she lifted up into a sitting position on the branch. She rested her cheek on a knee, staring at Akiko with half lidded eyes. "Come on now, I don't have all day. Either you run your tail back to where you came from and i'll take my nap, oooor..." she paused, thinking a bit. "...well, beats me." she shrugged, offering no hint as to the future events on when the line was crossed.

"Ruining my fun are you..." Akiko sighed. Scratching her neck, she simply crossed her arms and jumped back a little bit. She didn't like how the arrancar called it "running her tail back to where she was from" but that was exactly what she wanted to do. The longer she stayed here, the more she felt it wasn't worth it. Her commander hadn't made single movement and if she did fight, she would most likely have to be serious. Was it worth it? ... Most likely not. However, it would be cowardly to run away in any case.
"Fine... fine..." Akiko finally released her spiritual energy, it shining like golden light. She unsheathed Takemikazuchi again, and shunpo-ed past Sonoka. Her shunpo, even in the past, was known to be one of the fastest and longest, as her elemental affinity was lightning, so she was confident she would make it to the clearing before the arrancar's attack would come.

"That only took a year and a half." she said sarcastically, standing up on the tree branch. She took her time stretching, watching as Akiko zipped past. "I just can't get a break today, with all these roadrunners." she remarked to herself. Her previous fight had also been with someone who was quick on their feet. Though Sonoka's speed was less than formidable, she made do with it. Truth be told, she was probably one of the slowest Arrancar in the history of the Espada. Not like she trained her Sonido anyways. But the female would soon find out that her speed would hardly be an asset to her. Hopefully this one would be more of a challenge than that Captain she had faced off before. "Alright now..." she muttered, tapping her foot twice on the branch before jumping off. She stalked after the woman with an average Sonido. Surveying the area a bit, she gave a slight frown. Damn, a clearing. There would be nothing to destroy, and nothing to swing or toss around. Shame.
Cracking her knuckles, Sonoka bounded after Akiko. Despite her having drawn her blade, the weapon hanging from Sonoka's lower back was largely ignored. Swinging around blades wasn't Sonoka's thing, after all. She'd much rather be pounding at her opponent with her fists. In a slightly faster Sonido, she trailed on Akiko's tail, leaping up into the air and doing a frontal flip. As she straightened out her aerial position, her right fist came down in between her shoulderblades, aiming to whack a solid blow and ground the woman. As usual, with her destructive abilities, the fist was jam-packed with reiatsu. If she happened to dodge in time, which Sonoka expected her to do, the fist would probably leave a sizable crater in its wake. Just a little show off, that would warn her of the impending danger that was coming her way. A single direct punch like that, could be extremely fatal. Needless to say, most of her opponents didn't just leave the battlefield with a few cuts and scrapes. Sonoka had more than enough bonecrushing brute force to smash her opponents into nothing more than a heaving bloody pulp on the ground.I just can't standxxxI'll always look backxxxIf I fall downxxxCan I still go on?

Akiko sensed danger behind her as she ran into the clearing. Unlike what she had intended, this was going to be a lethal battle, it seemed.
"Fine..." Akiko muttered, "I can play that way too."
Her speed was one of her strong points but she didn't rely on it, she had other much more potent abilities to work with as well. She had noticed her opponent was fighting with her fists, and despite her blade being obviously present, it didn't appear that she had any intention of using it. At least... not yet, perhaps. Simply pointing her left hand over her shoulder as she ran out into the center, she said in a soft voice, "Bakudo 63, Sajo Sabaku."
While the spell was not going to contain the arrancar for long, it would at least imped her progress, and stop that reishi-filled attack from hitting her.

What was up with annoying Kido user's anyways? For her life, all their Bakudo combined, wasn't going to stop her from rampaging all over the place. She had no intention of losing to Kido either. As the Bakudo snaked around her upper body, her punch was diverted, as intended. Such a shame though. She was still coming downwards with momentum, and the Bakudo did nothing to stop her from launching another attack. In a blinding fast reflex, she twisted in midair, aiming to crack a kick at the base of the woman's neck. Due to the fact that it had been a last minute decision, the kick didn't pack as much power as the punch, but it was strong, nonetheless. It was more than enough to send a normal person flying through buildings. The only question was, how 'normal' she was. While all this madness was happening, Sonoka was taking her time unraveling the Bakudo. After having just run into a fight with a massively based Kido user, she had found that she could undo the bindings quicker than before. Unfortunately for her, practice makes perfect, and it wouldn't be long until the Bakudo was shattered.I just can't standxxxI'll always look backxxxIf I fall downxxxCan I still go on?

What a PAIN thought Akiko. The binding hadn't lasted half as lnog as she had thought it would. Being a strong kido user as well, she knew that such tactics weren't going to get her anywhere at all any longer. the kick coming at her she knew would send her flying if she actually took it... which she had no intention of doing. She had surmised a couple of things from these last encounters. This arrancar was a master at dealing with Kido in general, though obviously high level 80s and 90s hado would still work... Akiko didn't feel like wasting her energy testing that theory. The other important information was 1. that this one was physically stronger than her, but also 2. she was slower. This match would be relatively equal... as long as Akiko didn't get hit... which then again, wasn't very equal at all. She had a chance at this moment however, to widen the gap. The arrancar was busy with the bakudo still, for the moment, even as she aimed the kick... this was an attack that was just meant to intimidate, or perhaps it was just thrown out there. Whatever the case, it wasn't enough to come close.
Akiko simply twisted her body slightly, and shunpo-ed again, this time diagonally away. As she did this, she put Takemikazuchi into a more ready battle position. No matter how strong the strikes of the opponent, even if her hierro was stronger than iron, Akiko had dealt with arrancar time and time again. She could cut her, she kn ew it.

The Kido soon shattered, and Sonoka raised her right arm, rolling the shoulder a bit. "Well that was irritating...I guess." she muttered, as if not sure if it had been an irritation or not. She adjusted her black gloves on both hands, pulling them down and snapping the elastic on her skin. "Here comes round two..." she chuckled, charging forward. At the last minute, she Sonidoed across the rest of the hurdle towards her, taking a lunge step forward and pulling back her fist at the same time. In a fluid motion, she launched an uppercut at her stomach with her right fist, while her left knee simultaneously came up, in a jab to her gut. Talk about some brutal fighting, but Sonoka was obviously not one to hold back. She really didn't understand most people's mindsets of warming up and starting things slow. To her, a 'warm up' before a fight, was a nap. And considering that she had already took a nap, she was going to go all out as soon as the battle started. Screw warming up and taking things slow at first. That was where most people tripped up their thinking, and Sonoka quickly overwhelmed their 'warm up' by bashing in their skulls.
{ O.O.C ~ Your character's perception rate is a little too high for me. It's literally impossible to tell that she's a master at dealing with Kido, when the Kido isn't even broken yet. All she really did was swing her legs. You don't have to edit. Just saying confused }I just can't standxxxI'll always look backxxxIf I fall downxxxCan I still go on?

Valtex got angry at her lack of focus," Now Yui if your gonna take everything as a joke....." Valtex used sonido while she was focused on the espada fighting Sono. " Then I'll make you take things seriously". Valtex raises his hand and puts it into a fist and extends it to punch her. In his mind he thinks if she is a lieutenant of the 1st division then she should be able to block or dodge it. If not....I don't care. This punch is able punch a hill top and more depending on his strength. "Try dodging this!"..

Striking in two different locations? Akiko frowned inwardly. While it looked flashy, no matter what the user thought, unless both connected, the strikes wouldn't do nearly as much damage as if she had only used one strike. it was simple basic combat knowledge. To split your focal points was strategic, but it also had it's limitations. Akiko simply sighed and murmured, "Bakudo 81. Danku." The strikes, which were reishi infused would be blocked by this wall, even though she hadn't used full strength on it.
The arrancar was coming at her with full force... so Akiko decided she would as well. After all, it would be disrespectful to do so. Putting her hand to her head, she materialized her mask and brought Takemikazuchi up. "All right. Let's have fun."

[That spell, shown through the various times it's been used, is supposed to cause an opponent to move backwards as well as tie the arms. It's a binding spell so if the force was negated, even if the binding wasn't, then obviously the opponent is either just ridiculously physically strong, or they are strong against kido. This specific spell is not supposed to be able to be broken by physical strength alone, so the latter is the only reason it would fail so quickly. That was not really perception, it was just my character surmising your character's strengths]

As the Visored commenced to whip out her mask, Sonoka couldn't help but give a small smirk. "Joy." she said sarcastically. This was exactly why Sonoka's fighting styles worked better than the masquerade numbskull's yelling to her right. The Lieutenant and the Espada were just toying with each other and wasting energy and time. Sonoka preferred neither, which is exactly why she went all out, right off the bat. "Howl like a hollow." she remarked, more than ready to take her on at full power. Sliding her rear foot forward, she Sonidoed right behind Akiko. Sonoka wasn't usually one to take advantage of back attacks and the usual blind spots. But with the Danku in the way, she had to play her hand. Already in a crouch on the ground, her left foot snaked out in a sweep kick, aiming to trip her up. She more than expected her to dodge it, so she simultaneously raised her left hand, pointing her palm at her midsection and firing off a Cero. Whether she was tripped up or not, the Cero would hit her either way, if she didn't get out of the way in time.
{ O.O.C ~ Right here, there is no mention of any propulsive force knocking the user back, nor do I see the target being knocked back/moved back in the picture. So unless i'm blind and can't read, i'm pretty sure that's not what it does. }I just can't standxxxI'll always look backxxxIf I fall downxxxCan I still go on?

Huh? Because of the direction Sonoka had to move, Akiko was aware that she had sonido'ed behind her and was without a doubt striking at her. As she moved to get out of the way, she felt something hot hit her side. A weak cero? What kind of annoying attack was that? With her enhanced durability as well as strength from her mask, it was like getting zapped by an electric fence. Of coruse, the pushing force was far greater... She took it as she was sent flying sideways from the blast. She righted herself, however, and shot off an unincanted Byakurai at Sonoka, while bringing takemikazuchi back into position.

Though she did wonder how long she could hold her mask for, it didn't really matter, due to the fact that she hadn't yet taken a swing out of her blade, nor did she launch any life threatening moves. At this point, she was just wasting her limiter. Sonoka was a little less impressed, but was never one to underestimate an opponent. Bending her right hand at the wrist, as if testing if it still worked properly or not, she took a few steps forward to gain momentum before doing a handspring to vault herself into the air. Twisting to the left, she aimed a kick towards her torso. At this point, it would only be a minor irritation to her, lacking its usual punch. Sure, it may leave a bruise, maybe send her reeling back a few feet or two, but that was just about it.
