The elf examined the card. "Problem-won't let me enter."

"Peculiar," Asakuun murmured. Perhaps the hosting location has been limited..?"

"Aye. I can examine it, but I can't actually enter. I might need an invite to enter."

"I shall see to it that the gates open, then." Asakuun set to allowing the elf past the gates, by whatever means were available.

"Thank you, I can get through now."

Asakuun grinned. "Excellent." Having now returned to the initial appearance, the bartender opened the bar and wiped down the counter with a smooth lacquer.

The Incognito elf appeared on the bar, looking like she'd taken a nap in the middle of teleporting, judging by how messy hair silver hair was.

The bartender was pleased to see his guest again. "Would you like to borrow a brush, signorina?" He proffered a silver brush and a bottle of sweetwater. "Running the brush through water makes it easier to keep down, in my experience." His rather silky hair was a testament to the validity of the statement.

"Grounded is different from standard because the end destination is always the same. It also is a bit slower, but playing with it can make it instantaneous. Past that, it's the same as normal teleportation, though some, if it's networked, will have different entries and exits. That's like the train system, or the subway system. That, unless part of a route has magic that's worn thin, is generally quick as well. Grounded network systems are hard to maintain if they get large, though, especially if it gets a lot of traffic." She pulled out a small necklace, and flipped a hidden catch in the charm. It revealed a crude map, with a few pinpoints. "All the bars, and a few other places that I've grounded. Mine's on the default setting right now, so the longer the distance, the longer it takes. When using grounded or grounded network, you get the feeling of moving while in a room. Thankfully, the room can be decorated and all, so I tend to do a lot of work in it."

"Oh, I see." The bartender was quite interested in the concept. "I change planes at will, so I've never tried that before." There was, of course, no time like the present to try new things, and so the bartender inquired as to establishing a 2-way grounded teleportation system. "Between here and Bar Cairn, perhaps."

"For an isolated grounded network like that, it requires at least three locations. I can connect all the bars, though it'll require a set location in each area to do so, or an item to touch or be within. I've used one that used a cupboard. Crawl in, close the door, wait until it's no longer pitch-black, open the door, and you're at the other location. One side was burned down, though.
"It can be something like a wall mount, one that can be pulled down. Pull it down an inch, once location, two inches, another. Or books on a bookshelf, each book a different location." She shrugged. "Depends on what you want."

"Oh, that's cool!" The bartender was rather uncharacteristically interested. "I ought to make use of all this sometime."
