Looking around, she cocked her magnum. It was a small gun, but it still packed a punch. Biting her lip, she stayed close, holding the gun ready for trouble.

 Jacques quickly swiped his claws clean through a tree then lit a cigarette "I apologize " he mumbled "it is a bad habit I'm trying to break. But its not like zey do any damage to my body anyway, lycanthropic healing and all"

"Oh.", she said simply before taking out a pack of spearmints. She couldn't help not taking anything to sub the drugs. Any hard candy did the trick most of the time. They both had their vices, she supposed.

Jacques quickly set through the forest, using his claws to cut down anything in his path, flora or fauna. As he marched he appeared to be muttering a song to himself

She giggled at his response and snapped her fingers. A luminous ball of pure white popped into the dark of the forest and hovered a few feet overhead of them. It was what it was. Gabrielle liked light-bending. It was pretty and convenient. Walking at the same pace at him, she smiled.
"There. That's better."

Jacques looked back at her "I'd turn it out completely, I don't want you to see me like this" He walked ahead and stopped in a clearing surrounded by tree. He looked up at the full moon and tooke a deep breath as he let the changes begin. Suddenly he pitched over and let out a cry of pain as his muscles grew drastically and began tearing his skin along with his bones. Soon his body changed shape completely as his skull took the shape of a dog's and fangs burst out of his gums With a final cry he slammed his now massive hands on the ground , sending up a huge dusst cloud. When teh dust cleared a massive beast, about seven feet tall, stood where Jacques was. The creature turned its massive head from side to side, looked up at the moon , and howled

She stared in horror and turned out the light as he said and when he howled, she gulped and fidgeted. Her hands shook but she didn't look away. She liked him. The way he was. All of him.
