When he heard Kaori call up at him, Iwao nodded, calling out “Alright, sis, just a sec.” before performing some handsigns again and creating a sand clump under her feet. Bringing her back up out of the pit to stand where he and their partners were. Once she was back on solid ground, Iwao smiled, “Nice one, Kay-chan…now for me to add my last bit for now." Focusing on the ground around them, Iwao started performing handsign, creating massive amounts of iron sand and spreading it out all along the bottom and walls of the valley, making sure not to crush the flowers his sister had just put down there. Once he had a feel for where everything was, and felt that the valley was well-coated, he made another handsign and the sand began gathering in clumps all along the walls and floor of the valley. These clumps then twisted as they extended outward, forming into large spikes that lined the entire surface area of the valley-pits. Once that was done, Iwao turned back towards Kaori, Grym and Nova, and smirked slightly, “Well, I think that’s about all we can do for right now. And I really doubt anyone would be able to get past all that without at least losing a huge percentage of their forces in the process.” After taking a breath, feeling the strain on his chakra network set in from all the jutsu, Iwao said “Well, let’s head on back, I don’t know about you all, but that kinda wore me out.” He’d then form another large clump of sand under all their feet and speed back to the gates.

Kaori smiled when she saw the spikes Iwao created, they, especially, would cause pain and havoc on any invaders, just what they wanted. Kaori was a kind, gentle woman, until you threatened those she called hers, and as Kazekage; the entire village was hers. She nodded to Iwao,"Good job little brother."

Landing their sand clump back in front of the village gates, Iwao let it crumble away as he chuckled at his sister’s comment, “Thanks, sis.. but who you callin’ ‘little’? I’m easily four times your size. The fact that you’re two years older is irrelevant.” With a small smirk, Iwao looked to his partner, “Let’s go to the academy, Grym, I got a bit of training to do.” Grym would grunt slightly, then head in Iwao’s direction as the two massive figures strolled along towards the academy, Iwao calling back, “Just give a holler if you need me for anything, Kay-chan.” (exit)

Kaori smiled and waved at Iwao and Grym as they left for the academy. She then turned to Nova and nodded, "Alright, time to get to the dojo and apologize to Kaz for the effects of the diamond lotus." She said as she turned toward the dojo.

After getting her gear and getting her team suited up properly for a mission, Kris lead Aki,Circe and Tyrika to the entrance of the village. For most of them, probably all three of them, this was their first time ever outside of the Village. "Okay girls, we are here. Now before we go I want to talk to each of you. Be careful outside of the Village. We might be at peace, but that doesnt mean other villages or even smaller nations won't hesitate to strike if they think they can get away with it. We are Shiniobi of the Sand Village, we may run into other Shinobi from other Villages out there. We may run into bandits, we might run into who knows what. So keep your guard up. At night, we break for camp, keep the fire small with as little smoke as possible. We rotate taking watch and we leave no trace that we had set up camp when we break in the morning. I know, I know all of this is "the basics" but this is very important. Because we have an important mission to gather water for the Village. If we fail the whole village might suffer a dry spell. Stick close to me and each other."
She stopped for a minute and pulled out a large scroll, preforming a quick set of hand seals she then placed her large greatsword on the center of the scroll before a cloud of white smoke poofed. The blade was now sealed into the scroll, making it much easier to carry and far less of an overall risk. Kris hated to have to do this, but they couldn't afford to possibly leave traces in enemy territory.

She gave Kris a lazy smirk, her ear twitching lazily.

Tyrika was right, Aki's ability to smell the enemy would prove useful. Circe was lagging behind, but she was concerned from the get-go about the Water. Kris wasnt going to kick her off the team, but if she was feeling sick she wasnt going to force her to attend either. "The Mission has us heading towards the Land of Lightning, so that is a good chance we might run into Shinobi form the Hidden Cloud. Kaori-sama probably doesnt want a war on her hands so if we get detected our goal is to debilitate the enemy, disable without killing. Preferably we knock them out and by time they come to we are long gone. Theres all kinds of other scenarios we could run into, but we should be prepared at the least for a run-in with Hidden Cloud Nin.
Circe was clearly not to thrilled about the Water part of the mission, maybe shes sick? Either way, we can't wait around for her. Are you girls ready to move out?"

"It happens. Yeah, lets get moving.." She said and took point, walking out towards the area known fondly as the crossroads. She was the quiet one it would seem. She adjusted her bag so that it sat in a more comfortable spot as she moved out into the desert heat. She popped a cigarette between her lips and lit it with a small arc of electricity between her two fingers and blew a cloud of smoke, tension leaving her system.
_ After there long walk through the sand the duo had finally arrived at the gates of Sunagakure. "Hot." She said, raising her hand to shield her eyes from the sun as she looked towards the gate. "Really hot." She would stopped just out of eye sight from any of the guards. "Well that had crossed my mind, but lets hope it doesn't come to that." She would say with a smile. Umeko would give her radio one final check, before moving her hand and gently holding Maki's. "Ready?"

She said trying her best to be respectful. However it was her first real mission so she was a little nervous and it showed. .

Kaori walked up to the gate, Nova at her side. She narrowed her eyes at the young genin that her Anbu had told her about and she raised an eyebrow, "That will be far enough girls. State your purpose for being here." It wasn't difficult to see that these girls were still green, but that didn't mean she was going to let her guard down. The real question was, why were genin from Kirigakure here, if the Mizukage had wanted an audience, or even wished to discuss anything with her, he should have had the decency to send at least a jounin or an ANBU, rather than shinobi fresh from the academy. She didn't know how Kirigakure operated, but she knew that here in Suna, this was an insult at best.

Things were tense in her mind."Just a messenger, so I assume that either we can take a day to rest or will be forced out of the area after this yes?" She asked.
