"Ah yes, THOSE." I say while rummaging under the bed a bit. I then sit back upright and toss Caitlyn her clothes. "I have been known to become frisky in more ways than one while inebriated. I just wanted to get a better look is why." I add with a mischievous wink.

Caitlyn blushes, catching her clothes. She starts to put them on, but hops back , trying to cover herself, when the shadow pops in. She listens worriedly, in silence. When Beatrice can see Caitlyn's back, a brand on her left shoulder becomes visible. Should she care to take a close look, it appears to be a rune of fire surrounded by a ring made to look like a stylized sun, with a sword laid over top of it, pointing down; the same emblem emblazoned so proudy over Caitlyn's armor and shield. As soon as the shadow departs, Caitlyn dresses herself quickly and rushes to her armor. She quicky throws on the soft leather underpadded and the radiant armor, throwing her shield on her back, and straps her sword to her hip. "Ummm... I'm not the only person creeped out by that, right?" Caitlyn says tersely, putting the rest of her stuff in her bag. She gets ready to depart, and waits for Beatrice to get finished before departing with her. If her hunch was correct, she many have to keep out a wary eye for both her own safety and her comapnions.

Caitlyn looks back at Beatrice, almost like she wanted her to ask. "Well, you're half right. It used to just be the fire rune and a ring, it was my owner's property brand. When I escaped, I had someone... modify it and turned it into my symbol. She replies in a proud fashion.

Caitlyn hugs Beatirce back warmly. She gives out a laught. "Well, it is a fun story, but probably best kept for the road, can't keep the others waiting!" She say cheerfully. She did get one benefit from this mission. This kid is rather mysterious, but it seemed best to not attack directly... Fortunately, my code isn't above waiting for the right moment and collecting information.

"Yes! Adventures, and ccertainly mystery, await us!" Caitlyn leaves the room, searching for the others. Spotting Lazere in the tavern, Caitlyn approaches her. "Morning to you, Lady Deshlet, sleep well? Shall the four of us depart?" She says, addressing Feyren in the headcount.

"Very well, Lady Deshle- umm, Lazere. So we weren't the only ones who got the curious visitor... I suggest caution, but I'm sure that's a given. This quest may prove to be much more exciting indeed... We should probably stock up on travel rations in case the wilderness doesn't prove to be fruitful for your bow before heading out. Caitlyn says. She checks out of the room and returns the key to the innkeeper. She closes her eyes, looking slightly up, holding a hand to her chest, chanting out a prayer under her voice.

I nod to Caitlyn. I, too, return my key and get ready to leave.
"Yes, we probably should," I say to Beatrice.

The hooded for of the halfshadow ten year old was sitting on a barrel outside and he looked up as the fellow adventurers came out. Face hidden behind a mask, he curved his mouth to an unseeable smile. "Hey there. My sister's waiting by the town gate. You three took your time Blade's already wandering around." He said hopping off the barrel and only standing 3'10". "You guys should stock up on supplies, word on the beaten path is that there are monsters around these days." He continued before stretching and sheathing the white blade.
