"You're back! I missed you!!" Kai cuddled close to Cece's legs. "I didn't think you would ever come back..." He looked up at her and pouted.
Mona looked over at her brother in confusion. This was her hero, Daddy's happy person.. yet.. he was frozen as if in fear.. why? Deciding she really didn't care, Mona raced after Kai to meet the one she had wanted to meet since she was out of the blanket, not knowing that it might bring pain to both her father and hero. "Cecelia!!!" She called happily.
Thalanir kept his eyes on Damir and his children, and winced when Mona ran up to Cece.
Damir was frozen to the spot.

Kyrielle frowned as Mona raced out. Letting go of Thal's hand she walked over to Damir and placed a hand on his shoulders comfortingly.
"I could never lea..." Cecelia was cut off by a foal running towards her calling her name. The foal's markings painfully familiar to the ones on the blankets she had run away from. It seemed that all the blood drained from her face and her mouth filled with cotton. She looked helplessly towards Thalanir, not exactly knowing what to do. Her eyes were wide with shock, fear, and just about everything else.
Kamryn had almost jumped out in front of his sister in time, but alas he had reacted too slow and ended up falling straight on his but. He didn't know why, but it was obvious that his father didn't like this mare's presence, even if it was the 'famed Cece.'

Cece sighed mentally, why would this foal idolize her? She wasn't even the foal's mother. Trying to put on a kind voice, she didn't really succeed but made it not hostile, "And who might you be?" She asked the foal.

Mona grinned. "I'm Mona Lisa!" She stated simply, her adoring eyes gazing back up at Cecelia.
Kai eased away, feeling the tension. "She's Kristo's giiirrrlfriend..."He teased, trying to ease the situation
"Am not!" Mona cried, not liking the ridicule in front of her idol.
Sensing a quickly down-grading enviroment, Damir rushed over to Cece and his daughter, scooping her behind his legs. "Uhm.. You're back..." Damir stated lamely.

Cecelia stared at the foal, and with Kai's comment, only a shadow of her smile appeared. As if she were going through the motions but not feeling anything. Then when Damir ran up and scooped up the foal as if she might hurt her, all she had been thinking of with her talk with Nae was forgotten and replaced with anger. "I am." She said curtly, her face like stone now.

Damir frowned and turned to his daughter. "Mona, go back to Kyri and Ryn..." He said.
"But daaaadddy...." Mona started to protest.
Damir gave her a stern look, and the foal pouted and did what he said. Kai had already left. "Uhm.. I thought she was bugging you... sorry..." He tried to look anywhere but her, at the ground, his hooves, her hooves, the pretty little pink flower between them.. anything.

Kyrielle stood and waited for Mona to come to her as her father had told her to.
"Why does she idolize me?" Cecelia asked him, her voice empty. The mare was afraid to feel, afraid that she might break down right then. She was feeling somewhat emotional and she didn't know why.

Mona went over to Kyrielle and pouted as she cuddled to the female human's legs.
Damir sighed as he watched Cecelia. "She's heard stories.. I don't know.. she just chose you as her idol..." He said softly. "All she talks about is you... Sorta the same way Kamryn talks about me..."

Kyrielle hugged the foal. "Don't worry, little one, it's just a confusing time..." She looked towards Damir. If you have anything to say to her, now would be the time.
Cecelia looked down at the ground. "I don't know why she would idolize me. She shouldn't. I am no one...." She said, her own insecurities now coming back to the surface.

Damir sent a silent agreement to Kyrielle as he studied Cecelia. "No-one? Cece..." He sighed and looked away. "You are my life.. outside my Bond.. I have no one... no one but you, Cecelia... I.. I made a mistake... And I regret it everytime I look at them.. everytime I look over and see that you're not by my side..." He looked away, blinking back the pain.
Mona looked over and raced to Kristo and Kailyn, who were now full grown. She stood as close to Kristo's legs, only wanting some comfort from the older colt.
Kailyn rolled his eyes at Mona, bugged by her presence.

Kristo sighed as he blew out his nostrils to ruffle the foal's short mane. "Don't worry Mona...I'm sure you'll get to talk to her at some point."
Cecelia was on the verge of crying. So he did regret what he did...and he did miss her...and that fact just made her feel all the worse for what she had done. "I...I don't know if I can accept you back Damir....not after all that's happened...not after all I've done to you..." She said quietly as she started walking back towards the forest, wondering if he would follow or not.

Damir gave a strange look to Cecelia, then looked back at Kyrielle. Keep the kids close... somethings wrong.. He said before turning to follow Cecelia into the forest. "Cece..? What do you mean?" He asked tentatively.
"What's wrong with them?" Mona asked as she looked up at Kristo.
Kai snorted and turned to leave, or atleast go somewhere else to get some peace.
Thalanir walked over to his now, full grown Bond, and patted his neck. Easy boy.. its okay."

Cece's heart started breaking as Damir followed her and heard Thal through the bond. She felt like she was loosing everything. Now that Kai was grown, Thalanir wouldn't need her around like he did, Kai was his original bond therefor the strongest, she thought. She looked down at the ground, remembering all that had happened in the little bit of time since she'd ran away. A white face with golden eyes popped into her mind as a tear began to fall down her face. "I'm no better than you..." She said softly, making sure to keep her face hidden.
Kyrielle nodded. "Mona, come here dear, lets go see if Aila needs our help for anything." She said as she noticed Kai's frustration at the little female's presence.
Kamryn walked over to where Kai and Kristo were. "Can I come with you?" He asked curiously, tilting his head up to see them.

Kai's sides heaved as his neck twinged where Thalanir had touched him. It wasn't that he didn't love his Bonded, nor was it that he hated this place.. He just felt too constrained... He needed to be alone.. get away.. Then Kamryn came up, brother of the pest, and usually Kai could stand the young stallion in the making, but today a fever had a hold on Kailyn... he needed to get away... needed release.. needed to stretch his legs alone. He yearned to see the world.. by himself.. but felt... trapped.. He couldn't leave his Bonded without him or Cecelia.. and Cece was always leaving... He growled his frustration out and didn't answer the young colt.
Mona sighed and followed Kyrielle reluctantly. She loved who was her grandma's Bonded and would do anything for her, just like she'd behave her human mother, Damir's Bonded... But at the same time, sometimes she wished she were just away from all humans in general.
Thalanir sighed and shook his head, removing his hand from Kailyn's neck. "Go, Kailyn... All young stallions, at your age, feel that wanderlust.. Go.. you'll be in my thoughts..." He said, his mind automatically tranferring his and Kai's feelings to Cecelia, and vice/versa.
Damir looked at Cecelia strangely. "I'm... I'm not understanding Cecelia..." He said softly, his caring eyes trying to watch her.
