Titus might not have left but everyone had stopped at least. The Reaper ignored that finger, as well as the comment made by the demon. He looked towards Mitsu who... looked like a scolded dog, but then looked over to Hel. Shun didn't really care where the stranger in the area had gone too for that matter.
Narrowing his eye at the Valkyrie, he made his way over before attempting to deck her right in the head.
"Think before you pull s**t like this. It isn't fun. It isn't funny. It's just stupid," he said darkly. She had caused all of this commotion over some damn little prank.

Hel secretly thought it was adorable that the bats were all hanging out in Mitsu, and she fought really hard not to chuckle at Titus…on the ground in a pathetic pile.
She also, actually, had been thinking about just letting Shun deck her, actually. To even out the score so to speak. As long as he didn’t slit her throat, because that wouldn’t be fair at all, that’d just be lame. The ghoul actually started to turn her head towards Shun…only to be decked right across the face. The reaper made a bit of a choking sound as she staggered back and then caught herself. She paused, her hands held out to get her balance, and seemed to be assessing what hurt as she listened to the grim. After a moment she chuckled and then spat out the bit of blood that had pooled in her mouth before righting herself and turning to regard the grim.
“I did not ask any of you to come to my aid, just so you know…but…thank you, both. Also, point noted.”

When Mitsu was in the clear she sat back on her haunches before laying down remaining in her true form for the time being. She didn't get to fully stretch like this often so she decided to take advantage of the opportunity though she wished Shun wasn't so mad. The lycan had seen him angry and upset but never like this with comrades.
She watched the reaper for a moment as he started to make his way toward Hel only to have her vision blocked on one side by a tiny pair of wings. Head shaking the bats fluttered up before they settled back down on her head again, one landing on the end of her nose. She snorted trying to keep from sneezing but was rather amused when the bat caught the drafted, fluttered a few times, only to come back down and land where it had been a moment prior.
This she amused herself with for the next few moments, blowing the little bat up into the air so that it would flutter back toward her face. It was because of this that she missed Hel getting decked. She truly had a wonderful attention span.

Titus continued to lay in his miserable heap on the ground. He was certainly going to feel this tom-...well actually he was feeling it now and it kinda sucked. While he had time to think he decided to rearrange his list of hate. Hel had for the moment claimed spot número uno and Shun can into a neat second just waiting for his moment to jump to the top again. His little lycan ghoulfriend had managed to jump from 'meh I may not care' to position number three. The bats and their owner whoever the hell they had been came in right behind her at fourth. After him was the rest of the world. All the hate today. All of it.

Shun eyed Hel for a few moments, then relaxed himself. He didn't seem particularly concerned that he had drawn blood onto the Valkyrie. She might have been an ally and a friend, but that didn't mean he would take s**t in any form from her either.
"Good. Then we're even," he said before turning towards Mitsu. Well, at least she seemed to be fine now.
Letting out a breath, he shook his head to himself and walked on over towards his lycan.
"I take it you're alright then?"

Deep down, secretly, Hel still thought this was all hilarious. Minus the whole getting Shun and Mitsu involved into the scuffle though. Everything else? Hilarious. She was sure she’d be cackling about this in her room later, in private.
“Good. Glad to hear it, friend.” Awesome. Blank slate, and she didn’t get her throat slit. That was a call for a good time in her books. The ghoul looked over as Shun went to check on Mitsu…who seemed to be amusing herself with playing with the bats, and then her eyes slid over to the crumpled, bearded heap of Titus.

Huh.
Well…he certainly didn’t deserve any lick of kindness, and Hel was most certainly not going to be his friend anytime soon, if ever…but maybe call it a matter of honor for the idea that she couldn’t just leave him there on the ground. Leave him standing, definitely, but not leave him on the ground. Thus, the valkyrie schooled her face to keep it straight, and moved back towards the nightmare demon, where she then extended a hand to help him up.
No funny business. Just offering.
Well…maybe it was another subtle insult in a way. Like, ‘hey, it’s totally my fault you were gang banged and then reduced to a crumpled heap to the ground. Now let me rub salt in the wound by playing nice now and offering to help you up.’
Yeah, Hel would totally do that. Under the guise of ‘trying to do the right thing.’

The bat had been blown up into the air one last time before Shun got her attention. She turned her head downward to look at him only to get a tiny bat to her forehead. One eye closed as the small creature wiggled its way onto the top of her head out of her vision, patiently she waited until it was in place before doing anything.
She didn't say anything at first but instead nodded. "I'm fine..." She had been startled but not hurt. It seemed like she had done more of the hurting considering Titus wasn't on his feet yet. "Are you....okay?" Which was her way of asking if he was still upset.

Oh look who it was, the grand champion of his s**t list. She had probably come to gloat or dance on his sore and mangled body but instead she offered him a hand up. It was the worst kind of slap in the face. Kindness. Titus didn't take to it well but the expression he wore showed mostly confusion. He kept his disdain for the gesture in the back mind staring at the hand for a long silent moment.
And then he took hold of it and hauled himself to his feet. Once he was righted he didn't, however, let go. Instead he jerked Hel toward him to wrap his arms around her and stooped just enough to help push himself off the ground and take flight with her in tow. As much as he hurt he wasn't above getting a little payback. Or a lot of payback.
"You probably think this s**t is funny," He growled, still fighting to keep the bushy beard out of his mouth.

When Shun saw Hel approaching Titus, he narrowed his eye, thinking she might kick him while he's down. Literally. But then he saw the extended hand. Even so he was still a little wary. Turning back towards Mitsu, he nodded.
"I'm fine," he said plainly. He might have still been a little annoyed but punching the Valkyrie in the face did help a bit.
Turning back around, he frowned as the demon had the reaper back in his arms.
"Titus," he warned.

Well, if he didn’t want to take it, she’d take it back and—oh. Okay. Hel planted her feet to help pull the taller being up…and couldn’t say she was surprised as the nightmare demon instead, pulled her closer. Oh. He was also apparently taking her for a ride too.
Hel reached up to grasp onto the collar of his jacket, looking far from alarmed as her feet left the ground and a bit of a smirk pulled at her lips. “Ya. It was funny. Just like how you think flinging food at first years in the cafeteria that are too afraid to fight back is funny.” She made no effort to struggle right now. “Go ahead and drop me if you like, Titus. Just remember that I can summon my weapon at any moment and wreck your day even more.”

Mitsu's eyes grew wide when she looked passed Shun to see Hel in Titus' arms. She was fast to her feet when the demon took off the bats that had been perched on her scattering as she moved. "Hel!?"

Beat for beat Titus took Hel higher until they were a fair distance from the ground. It was there he hoovered, looking at the reaper through a narrowed gaze. "I'm sure you'll find your trip to the ground just as funny." Titus growled, his arms loosening dangerously. True she had a hold of his collar but he was sure it wouldn't take much to shake her loose.
"And you may be able to summon your little weapon, beat me in battle, and bring your little friends and gang up on me at school but you know...right now it would just make me feel better to watch you smash against the ground. I don't think you're high enough to die." His grip loosened a bit more to let her slide before he tightened it again. "I hope you know what you've brought on your friends by getting them involved. Sweet dreams to them I suppose."

Shun narrowed his eye as Titus went on to take flight now. He reached out to place his hand onto Mitsu, trying to ease her. He could try attacking the demon right now, but that wasn't a very good idea. So instead, he had another idea.
"Get ready to catch her," he murmured quietly to his lycan, stroking her fur. She had caught him from a great fall before, so he didn't have doubts that she wouldn't be able to do the same for Hel. Granted, he could attempt to catch the Valkyrie too but his chances of succeeding were a bit lower without potentially harming himself by a fair amount.

At this moment, now at the mercy of Titus, Hel could see, much more clearer, why Mot had been terrified that one time she took him flying. She had absolutely no control right now, and it was another moment in which she was painfully reminded of what she could do no longer. The reaper kept her grip on the collar of his jacket, glaring up at him as he spoke. Her grip tightened as his grip on her loosened a few times.
“I did not make them get involved.” She shot back, “So if you want to take it out on the real cause, Snaggletooth, you come after me.”

"No, but you brought them along and they choose their own fate." Titus hissed. "And you better believe I will come after you. I will do everything I can to find what bothers you most and twist it into a knife to plunge into your back." It wasn't just a threat, it was a promise.
"So tell me Kidget," His arms nearly let go so that she was mostly holding on by her own power. "When was the last time you went flying?"

"Catch her?" Like she had done for him before. The thought made her nervous...what if she couldn't catch Hel? It had been by luck she had caught Shun. Not to mention jumping that high.....
No, she would do it. She had to. "Climb on...I might need your help to catch her." At least with Shun with her they were less likely to fail.

Without any hesitation, Shun climbed onto Mitsu's back with relative ease. There, he situated himself, using one hand to grasp onto her fur. The other was still petting her gently. He had heard that bit of hesitation in her voice.
"You can do this," he whispered.

“Touch any of them and I will tear you apart piece by FEAR piece, Titus.” Hel hissed back, before her lips curled into a smirk. “I got nothing to lose, so you just go ahead and try.” She sneered. The ghoul grit her teeth though, as Titus let go of her for the most part and her body jerked as she was now holding herself above the ground. She was rather uncomfortable with this…not that she’d show that to Titus though. Falling was a legitimate worry now. Something she didn’t have to think about before…but she’d be damned if she started to plead with the demon before her. She was still a prideful thing.
“Ha! Every ******** day, Titus.” Hel shot back, and grinned just to spite him. “I do not need wings to fly.” She let go of him then, and summoned her weapon as she let herself fall, chucking it at him.

"Oh? That sounds like a challenge to my ears." Titus hissed back. "And everyone has something to lose. Otherwise why would you be so adamant to protect your friends."
The demon wanted to hear her scream as she fell, to experience the sensation of falling and not being able to catch herself but instead she only grinned at him, something that alighted a fire of rage inside him. "Then enjoy your flight." As she let go Titus drew back his foot to kick her away and send her toward the ground faster. In turn he found a spear in his side, the demon curling forward in mid air, his flight somewhat disrupted. It was taking all he could to keep from plummeting from the air to the ground himself in pain.

Mitsu was on pins and needles despite how Shun was trying to sooth her. She had even crouched in preparation trying to judge the distance, her muscles tensing ready to jump. Still, she was hardly ready for it when it happened. Hel let go and there was a second of hesitation before Mitsu took two long strides and leaped.
It didn't seem to take much effort to lift herself off the ground in her true form with Shun in tow she just hoped it was enough, aiming the best she could to intercept Hel and keep her from hitting the ground. "Help catch her!" She pleased with her reaper.
