Even then that might be questionable, depending on the mood he was in- the grinning cat could get into as much trouble as the rest of them if he had a mind to. Trickery laughed a little again and winced, her sides were still sore. She cuddled up to Enjiron again, her head resting against his shoulder.

Enji nodded, grinning. He really liked Kios. It was obvious though that he needed someone who understood he needed some attention. Tristan would like him just as much and so would the rest of his family. It was decided. Enji would include him in various things and see that the god learned what he wanted to know about. "This shall be a fun trip. Without the other four along, you will not have to worry about too many pranks, Kios. It's usually when all six of us are together that the real fun starts. Oh, and my father can be as bad at pranking also. It just comes naturally to all of us. Probably why Eshu chose us in the first place."
Saljin and Tempest would not take this well. Not that they were not going along. Taj sighed. He had given Saljin hell for going without him, but the circumstances were different. Saljin had gone entirely alone where Taj was going with others and they would be at the meeting to discuss the journey to Aejiss. Taj was certainly not the one Lorinia would aim at either. It was Tien and Enji. Maybe there was a way for Enjiron to be in two places at the same time. That was certainly an idea she would not expect. < A meeting will be called with all to discuss Aejiss when the moment is right, Kios. >

Well, it was doubtful that they would be happy that he was.
"When will you be having the meeting ?" He needed to warn his mother first... Grace and Exalla, too.

Enji laughed. "We can't handle all six of us. Well, seven counting my father." At least they would only be minor pranks at best. Not the detailed ones that they planned for weeks ahead.

With Madrigal speaking backwards, Kayan shifting at random, fights with the oni, Enjiron's family at risk, and Saljin's stupidity with Zrath, Taj decided he needed a vacation. It was another thing when he would actually get one. There was still the Labyrinth to deal with at some point. And the pirates. Perhaps even Eshurian and Aejiss later again to reestablish temples there. Their work never ended, but he'd not have it any other way.
