Tyshina hadn't spoken much, for some reason she was to busy just focusing on what everyone was saying and doing. Though now that everyone one was closer, at least she knew she wasn't alone on this part of the trip. Sure she was a first year and all, but still if need be she was sure she could hold her own in a battle. Which lucky for her, her chance came quicker than she thought.
This monster had come out of no where and it had definitely not taken its sweet time as it grabbed a few students. Great Entrance, she thought quietly to herself as she readied to fight not taking her eyes off the monster. Now that these hands had shown up she was more determined than ever. This monster had to go down, since now that it had those students there was no other choice! At least as far as she saw.
"What a nice welcome party..." she joked quietly with a hidden smile as she readied her stance and lit her fire a bit. Though then she put the flame out quickly. She figured quickly after looking at the students captured that while it had people a flame way not be the best way to attack, though that didn't mean she couldn't heat her body up a bit. Even if she could feel the fire within her aching to be released. It was burning more and more each day, but she desperately was holding it in not wanting what happened back home to happen again.
Though now she shook her head and went back to her current situation. She had a battle to lend a hand in, or what hand she could. So now that her body was a little hot she ran towards and launched herself into the air launching herself into a back-flip like she did at her families circus. She was attempting to aim towards the hand holding the student whose name she thought she heard was Leo. If she would hit or her attack would work, she would find out soon enough. Aiming for attacks were a little different then pleasing a crowd after all. HP: 28 Damage: 3 Leo Hand: 3 Boss: 89

Amphi blinked as they were thrown into the battle fray. Her eyes immediatly searching out for others.
"Shun! Hel!" The mermaid headed over to the reapers, "Are you both alright!??!" She let her hands fret over them, looking for any serious injuries.
It looked like neither of them needed to be healed but..."Oh...Oh what is this..." she stared at the monster and shied away from it. This was suppose to be a treasure hunt right?
There was no way the mermaid could fight.....QQ

The reaper looked over as Sammy fell nearby. “Oh, hello there. Very nice of you to drop in as well…”
As another student, a cat boil this time, started to attack the hand that was holding onto her, the reaper grinned a bit. “It is pretty ah…how do the kids say…tight? In more ways than one!” She winked at Night then. “Much obliged, friend, thank you!” Then came in another student, a monster from the looks at it. “Ha! Another swooping down to save the day, thank you as well!”
Then…there was Shun.
Her bro.
Hel had so much bro-love for you right now Shun, it was unbelievable. The reaper fell to the ground as she was freed…and right on top of Shun. The ghoul wrapped her arms tightly around his neck. “Oh, you are the best!” She cried. “I am so moved by your heroic deed!” She then planted a kiss to his forehead, so elated by their bromance. She looked up as Amphi approached and leapt to her feet, holding out a hand to help pull Shun up as well.
“Why hello there, Amphi! Ah, I am fine, thank you! Have you been working on training? If not, this beast here will be great practice!”

Shun was not particularly thrilled to have been landed on like that. Dusting himself off some, he was soon taken by surprised as Hel decided to throw her arms around his neck and kissed him on the forehead. What the hell!? Yeah, he froze from that act, and it took him a few moments to shake off the shock. Generally speaking, he was not accustomed to hugs or kisses from anyone aside from Mitsu so such acts always had him locking up. "Far from heroic. You can't fight while being held like that," he said flatly while calling his daggers back to him. He had dropped them from Hel's little 'attack' onto him. He might have also felt a little weird about any comments on heroism regarding himself. Moving a little further away from the chimera, he paused as Amphi rushed in over towards them. "I'm fine," he said before looking her over. The mermaid seemed a little leery of the creature, and he recalled what she had said regarding fights, "If you don't want to get close, there's plenty of rocks and bones you can throw. Two more students are still being held. It would be within our best interests to free them."

Amphi sighed as both the students were okay. Noticing that Shun had addressed their talk from before, she nodded.
"I will help if I can...." she flushed, then looked to Hel. "I don't think I can kick this thing..." Was all she managed to say as she picked up a bone and tested its weight.
Oh s**t she was a shitty shot. She knew this, people knew this...perhaps....
She closed her eyes as she threw a piece of bone over the two reapers heads.
"Did I hit it?" She peeked open her eyes.......

There could have been any number of reasons it took so long for Sibyl to attack. Perhaps she fell unconscious somehow. Perhaps the sight of the chimaera had stunned her, terrified her beyond belief. Maybe she ran off to go play in the snow and ice...again..
Maybe she was just waiting for the most opportune moment to attack, as she had when she'd landed the final killing blow on Drosselmeyer. That was totally what happened there. It was completely intentional.
...Or maybe she was having a staring contest with the Masher she'd picked up.
Spoiler: It's the last one.
Finally she was able to look up away from the Masher, having felt she'd won their little game despite its stare remaining forever unblinking, and saw..oh no! There was someone being held in a giant hand! Big meanie!
Gently placing the Masher on the ground, Sibyl picked up a chunk of fallen ice and threw it at the hand. "Big MEANIE!"

Night was just pleased to see the students dropping.
"Good thing you won't have to be worried about it squeezing the life out of you." Night dropped down next to the ghoul, looking at the mermaid who just threw with her eyes closed and grinned.
Well he had better things to do now....Time to find the shinies.
"if you don't mind Doll..." He drawled, his tail flicking. "I have a treasure to find."
Or something of the sort. In truth he was just looking around for anything that caught his eye. "Call me again if you need to be freed from a thing that is getting his feels on with you." Night saluted the reapers and was out.
All you could see was the tail ribbon standing up among the pile of bones.

Leo had cheered as well she could when the other ghouls had been freed, and she'd watched hopefully as more people attacked the hand that held her. She might have given the rescuers a thumbs up at some point.
And then, then the creature let go and with a whoosh of air she was falling - right unto the ghoul that had landed the last blow.
"Oof!" She groaned. "Oh! Um, sorry about that." She scrambled off of the mermaid and held out a hand to help her up. "But really, thank you! You saved me!" She beamed.

The wolfos growled at the hand for what good it would do him. Probably none, but he couldn't help but voice his displeasure with the entrapment of Sura. It had released the others but not her, not yet. He passed by a ghoul and got the wiff of seal. A small pause as red eyes looked to her.
Seal was delicious.
He shouldn't eat other students though, even if they were not technically at school and there were no teachers around. It just wasn't polite... or likely to gain him any friends. He could order seal meat some time later or write and ask for his uncle to ship some. Yeah. That was a good idea.
Shaking his head out of such thoughts, the wolfos looked over to the cat. "Night, is this really the time?" Snorting he went after the hand holding Sura once again. Claws and fang once again found gold though he paid it no mind. Moving to remain free of injury he spat at the taste. To think he'd get to chew on bone yet have them taste horrible.

"Treasure is a beckoning and I helped a Oreo Valkyrie earlier. I did gud...." he waited a beat, "Unless....You want to cuddle instead King..."

A roll of red eyes as he snorted. "I do not think this is the best time for cuddles Night. I am however, not adverse to naps in the snow later." Or scritches. King was ALWAYS down for sritches. Leaning back King watched the hand that held Sura fangs snapping as she was not yet released.
A lunge and there was a distinct crack in his jaws. Bones shattering mixed with the fracturing of ice. It was sadly, still not enough as the creature's grip held firm. Backing away he bristled. Damn thing needed to go down, and stop tasting utterly horrible.

Call him fashionably late as the boil all but ran onto the scene, staring with wide eyes and mouth dropped open. They were fighting a freakin...SERIOUSLY? The others seemed to be at total ease with fighting this thing, maybe he should be too? Well s**t. Okay. Remi could do this. He signed up for this little adventure, youd think he'd be willing to fight things.
He honestly just needed time to get used to the idea, yes?
Still it was enough to cause him to half heartedly attack the thing. He aimed for Suras hand, but honestly failed miserably.

Amrita didn't get a chance to clarify what she had meant by protecting the little ones, but that was okay. Nor did she get a chance to tell Hel that she had been to so many cliffs she wanted a break, but that was also okay. What wasn't okay was being caught up by a twisted limb, nor was being squeezed by it. Granted she didn't need to breathe, but she wasn't fond of potential broken bones, and having to go the rest of the trip with them. Broken bones were not good, at all.
Before she knew it though, with the combined efforts of Tess, Petro, Siobhan and Jericho, she was free. Unfortunately, as she fell she accidently kicked the flying Jericho before hitting the ground herself.
"Th-thanks, everyone!" Amrita got shakily back to her feet, dusting herself off. The fall had left her disoriented, not realizing until right then that she had cracked her head off the floor when she fell. Double vision, yaaaaay. "Th-they'll get you d...own soon!" She assured Sura, trying to sound reassuring. They were doing a good job so far! Yay group efforts. The double vision and disorientation was fading now, but not as fast as she would have liked.
"Leo, Hel, are you two okay?" She swayed a little bit, grabbing onto the closest person to steady herself.

Merope bound to his feet after dodging the initial charge, grimacing as he glanced at his fins. He peered at them closely, stopping as he heard Hel call his name long enough to wave at her. He didn't add to their conversation, offering a non-committal shrug when Shun looked at him. He had missed a good chunk of the earlier conversation; he had no idea what they were talking about. But then again, he didn't need to concern himself. They had an even bigger problem: the skeletal chimera itself was back on its feet. Merope cursed at himself for being too slow, lashing his tail against the ground hard enough to rattle and scatter the bones they were still standing on. As the chimera snatched up four of the students, Merope charged forward and jumped, using his talons to dig into the bones of the skeletal monstrosity. He clambered his way up towards Sura until he was at the hand that held her. Once there he began to batter away at it, striking at it relentlessly. HP: 40/40 Damage: 4 Sura Hand: 1/10 Boss HP: 79

It felt good to be thanked for your good work, especially if said work involved sinking your teeth into the bony hand of a chimera. Although she was unable to say anything to Hel as, indeed, her mouth was full of bones. Letting go of the bony hand, Poke flapped her wings to move away from the chimera, settling down nearby where she was pleased to see three of the students released, including Hel, although there was still one who was trapped. Growling, she wondered how she could get The last student free. Her head then turned to see who else was there, and she spied Shun not far away. He appeared unhurt from the fall. That was good.
