Nae kept running after her sister and, when they stopped, put her head against Jara's flank. "Sissie.. what's wrong?" She asked softly, any trace or sarcasm or her meanness or anythign else was gone.

Nae's voice made Jara turn to her, pressing her face into her sisters shoulder. "Huel asked me to be his lifemate..." She said quietly.

Nae's eyes furrowed. "Then... whats the matter? That's great..? isn't it? You two hit it off great..." She asked with a confused manner, still in her soft caring tone. The same tone that she would eventually use with her children.. For all Nae's tough and tumble attitude she would be an amazing caretaker... Motherhood would calm her down.

Jara, being as indecisive as she was shook her head. "I...I do like him...I just...I don't know..." She really did like him, but did she want to be with him for the rest of her life? That was a big decision.

Nae sighed. "If he does really care for you, he can wait for you to decide, Jara. It took mom and dad forever to get together.. even longer to have kids of their own.. I'm still wondering how long it'll take..." She joked, trying to light her sister's mood.

"He'll wait anyways, Jara..." Nae replied. "He'd be stupid not to wait for someone as special as you, sissie." She added after a moment as she stepped back from her sister.

Nae nodded. "Yes I do believe so sissie..." She said softly, "Though he and Paimon probably went home for the night, but he'll be back if you ask him to. He's a really nice stallion."

Jara nodded in agreement. He was a nice stallion...but the poor mare just couldn't decide what she wanted to do. They haven't known each other for long and he already wants to be her lifemate? Why? Jara just couldn't understand it, nor could she make a decision. "Lets go home Naenae..." She said before starting to walk on home.

Several weeks passed and Jara became increasingly more distant to her parents and sister, waking up before the others and coming back late. She wasn't going anywhere except her secret place, a place only Nae knew of. Jara couldn't even think of trying to find Huel, her heart clenched for him, wanting to see him but not wanting to make a decision.

Michiko had finally approached Nae, worried about Jara. "Jara... I'm worried about your sister... Do you know what's wrong?" She asked softly, her full sides making her look humongus.
Nae sighed and told her mother she'd go take care of Jara and left, knowing she'd be at her safe place. "Jara.. Mother is worried about you.." She said as she approached her beautiful yellow sister.

Jara hung her head when her sister came to find her. "I don't want momma to be worrying about me..." She looked away, staring at one of the little flowers that peaked out of the ground.
