Yes! He had done it! He had helped! Crooning hopefully to his handler, hoping she would forgive him for bumbling until now, he tried to bite the woman hard. He would make sure she couldn't hurt her anymore!

Hit again, this time on her cheek, Celandine went red with rage. Her face! She'd cut her face! How dare she?! Furious, she attacked again, more intent than ever on bringing this dragonriding hussy to the ground.

Attacking Riarna
The child's attack hadn't done anything to him, and so he ignored her attempts concentrating on the other woman. He was fairly certain that Riarna would block anything he tried to do on the kid anyway, so he figured he might as well just focus on her. He kicked at Riarna again, a little annoyed at the fact that she had just attempted to scratch him with her fingernails. "Really? Is that the best you can do?" [Kleos: Defending against Celandine]
This time when the handler brought her arm back to strike with the whip Kleos raised an arm to guard her face. While this meant she kept both of her eyes, the lash still coiled around and caught her in the neck again. She was bleeding quite a lot, the crimson rider realised hazily. Blinking dazedly she tried to raise her knife back into a threatening pose, but it was nigh on impossible with the world swimming in and out of focus.

She dodged Lyret's next attack, but for some reason she seemed to be doing poorly and missed him again on her next attack as well.

Orlina
Attacking Lyret
Her savior had missed again. Orlina braced herself and rammed her shoulder into Lyret's stomach. She was of a height to do it, and by throwing all of her body weight behind it, hopefully it would knock him a bit off balance and give them a chance to knock him out and go help the others. Orlina didn't dare check on them, for fear that she'd find they were all unconscious and she and Riarna were surrounded.

Attacking Kesin
Facetious to the end, he grinned at her, ignoring the blood seeping into his shirt fabric. If he was going down, he was going to do it with a smile on his face.
"If 'neither' is the best answer you have, I'm not so convinced, sweetie."
Since she didn't like him playing her game, this time he directed the punch to her throat, crowding her so she would have little room to play with the whip-- she'd have to step back to get more space to use it again, and he didn't want that happening.

Attacking Orlina Oof. The kid's attack did knock him off balance, but he managed to catch himself, changing the fall into a low kick. The mean woman was bleeding a lot, more than his handler, he could see it and smell it. She was unsteady, and now was his chance! He would show his Celandine what a good wher he was, and finish this enemy for her. His tail lashing in anticipation, he tried to strike out once more with his claws, but stumbled and missed.

Celandine sighed, shaking her head at the blue. As attached as she had found herself becoming in the short time together, his apparent lack of talent for fighting was...distressing. She'd have to finish the rider herself, and pulled the whip back to hit her one more time.

Kesin, Attacking Jordan
The blow caught her hard despite her attempt to block it, and set her gasping for air again. He was mistaken in thinking she needed more space, though - sure, she would have needed it to use the weapon as it was intended, but as she had recently discovered, it also functioned passably as a blunt instrument. Kesin tried to hit him upside the head hard with the handle, panting, "Let's get one thing straight: I am not your sweetie."

The wher's claws missed her again - thankfully - and she managed to dodge out of the way of the whip strike too. It was just a matter of time before she fell though; she was merely delaying the inevitable.

He could feel the disappointment of his handler at his repeated failures to be of use in this fight, and his eyes whirled yellow. If he wasn't good, if he didn't do what she wanted, would she think he was a bad wher and leave him? Or worse, what if something happened to her because of him? Worrying himself near to distraction, he tried again to bite the rider.

Celandine scowled. Why wouldn't this woman just go down aready, and why couldn't her sharding wher seem to hit her? The fact that she was having to do all of this by herself was really starting to piss her off! She struck out with the whip again, and hopefully this time it would be the last time.
