Isaac was not happy. Malo was now adding to his fear and anger. He was always known for his emotions being more loud than others, and his violence when angry. His temper had been kind this trip, however now it was loose. The boy wanted his sight. His hands shaking didn't scare him, it was his sight gone. Malo was, in his mind, mocking him. Taunting him. Perhaps it was the prankster that took his sight.
"Stop. Mockin'. Me." His tail lashed violently, hitting Malo square in the chest, a violent, meant to hurt lash. He wasn't sure what the other did, however he wasn't waiting to find out. He was courageous, usually, the kind to throw himself into any fray or danger. However, this was so sudden, so.... so absolutely sudden, and it mimicked the silence he was so frightened of. The voices around him were stopping the only sense he could rely on, for his nose was never that good. He was frightened.
He attempted to, after lashing out, escape. His legs didn't take him far, for he tripped over something on the ground and landed on his side. The Vaporeon curled his tail around himself, hands flipping over his eyes, frantically touching his eyes as if they were melting.
He finally calmed when he realized that he had drank the potion, and its effects were unknown. Finally, calmed just a bit, the male wondered if the potion had done this. However, was his sight forever gone? Was he blind forever? No no no no. This couldn't be!

Jace grumbled when they unlocked their door, stepping into yet another area with yet another riddle. He muttered about how Diamonds was way too difficult and annoying as he eyed over the table, then the riddle, frowning before glancing at Logan. For the moment he'd sit back and watch the others and see what happened to them first; he didn't want to ingest something that would mess him up for the rest of his life and he wouldn't put it past their guide to not have put safeties in place.
-----
Ryder beamed at Bigsby when the key formed, practically dragging him through the door and to the other side. He watched the other children approach the table covered in potions and shifted nervously, biting his lip. Then some of them vanished, causing him to yelp and scoot a little closer to his new-found friends, blue eyes wide in alarm.
He watched one of the boys, Malo if he remembered, latch onto another who seemed incredibly distressed and glanced around, wondering what to do. However when the Vaporeon boy fell Ryder gasped and bolted towards them both, reaching out to put a gentle hand on the boy's shoulder; it wasn't unusual for him to reach out to others, and he was a social creature, thus seeing someone in pain made it difficult for him to not want to help.
"A-are you okay?" he gasped, looking over the boy, worried; he didn't look hurt... "Do you need help? Can I do anything?"
-----
Jace watched everyone ingest their potions, blinking before suddenly smirking when he watched Bigsby turn into an adult; he wanted that one. Shooting Logan a quick grin he dashed forward and picked up the pink bottle, taking a few long gulps of it. Maybe it didn't do the same thing twice, but it had to beat disappearing, love potions, and whatever the purple potion had done.

Malo whimpered as he was thrown off. He was being denied by his beloved?! No! He'd not have it! He ignored the others and gasped as his lover fell.
"ISSAC, MY LOVE!" He scrambled over, leaping onto Issac and clutching him tightly. "ARE YOU HURT?! Please be alright! I would DIE without you! Please, Issac, speak to me!"

Logan was hanging back with Jace, watching the infants with some degree of disgust and disinterest. He did need to figure out which potion was which, and was mostly unwilling to actually do the work.
And he was pretty unwilling to move at all, until he saw Malo trying to latch onto Isaac. Several of the infants had disappeared... what the hell was happening? Logan glanced over at Jace, flicked his tail, and frowned-- it didn't seem to matter how much he wanted to just stand with Jace, these kids kept needing some kind of intervention, or a challenge would bring him away from Jace forcibly.
Logan leaned over and let his head rest on Jace's shoulder for just a second, without looking at him or saying anything, and headed off not to help Isaac, whom Ryder was already helping, but to try to keep Malo off of Isaac. However, Logan did glance back at Jace, who drank some of the pink potion. And Jace grew, and Logan was not going to be left behind. Logan darted over to the table, drank the pink potion, and poured the rest of it out.
Because he needed to use this to keep Malo from ... assaulting Isaac.
But first, he looked Jace up and down and grinned, then looked at his own taller, more angular body. "Come here often?" Logan teased.

Jace was... Growing. However when he stopped he noticed that he wasn't as tall as he had expected to be. Frowning a little he glanced down at himself, blinking down at the waistcoat that he, his ears flicking before he glanced back at his tail; he was a Mightyena now. When he returned he looked back around he blinked when he saw Logan, eyes widening a little before his slowly frowned a little; Logan was taller than him. He wasn't quite certain how he felt about that but, after a moment, he caved and smirked a little.
"Where'd you learn pickup lines, huh?" he teased, marveling at how deep his voice had become. "I think you need some lessons... Though I might take pity on you, just this once."
However he startled, wondering where Fenris was suddenly, eyes widening before he glanced down and smirked, noting it was nestled in a leather sheath attached to his thigh. It was too bad that this probably wasn't permanent; he liked being taller, more adult. However he also knew that he'd miss his childish recklessness too, so he wouldn't mind being little for a bit longer.
"Well, at least we'll look good when we're older." he mused, not even noticing his slip.

Logan flicked his tail at Jace, smiling so that his incissors showed. "Hey, at least I tried?" Logan complained, raising his hands up to the Mightyena. His ears flicked forward. He eyed Jace up and down, crossing his arms over his chest. The smile grew faintly more devious. Logan unfolded his arms and took a step towards the Mightyena. "... so it looks like I'll be taller than you, hmm?" Logan suggested.
He'd take what he could get. At least it wasn't raining, either. Logan stretched and tugged at his jacket. It looked a lot like his old vest had, just... more like a jacket. And his markings were still there. And, reaching a hand back to feel his hair, he realized it was still really unevenly hewn at. "Still your handiwork," Logan grimaced.
His concern with his crazy haircut was insincere; in fact, he liked that Jace likely still cut his hair. Logan's attention was immediately piqued by Jace's slip. "We look good? So you like what you see?" Logan asked him, teasing, flicking his tail back and forth.
Yeah, they couldn't stay like this forever. But one day, if he could just... grow up. Be done with all this infant nonsense.

Bigsby held a hand in front of himself and rippled the fingers, curling them into his fist one-by-one. He rotated his hand at the wrist, admiring the way his now-large muscles flexed with the motion. His mind was working a little faster – not by much, mind you, just enough to process what exactly had happened. He'd been imparted with the wonderful adjective bigger, the one quality that Bigsby had always strived for. His clothes meant nothing, his darker hair falling way longer than Philip would ever let him wear it as a child meant nothing, his hat meant SOMETHING, but not much. Because he was bigger, and in this case, biggest.
A grin split his face, and he mumbled, ”Oh, I likes 'dis.” Though he and all his trappings had been sized up, the potion hadn't been magic enough to make Bigsby any better at grammar. Or really, any smarter. A moron still pulled the strings, with all the impulses of a few moments prior, with all the size and impetus to act on them now.
Bigsby stomped forward, reaching down to grab a handful of familiar white cloth. With a jerk, he peeled Malo off of Isaac and held him aloft, his fistful of Malo's clothing the only thing keeping him in the air. He brought their faces dangerously close together, completely oblivious to the fact that what he was doing was a really really wrong thing to do to an infant. Breath from his nostrils puffed into Malo's face as he stared for a moment into the boy's soul.
”I told yez, Malo, you ain't nuffin'.” Bigsby grunted, through gritted teeth. ”I'm gonna be da biggest 'dere is one day, and when dat day comes, I'm comin' fer yez.” With that, Bigsby delivered a heavy flick to the middle of Malo's forehead and moved him away. Seemed like toddlers didn't smell too good.
Bigsby turned, then, to Logan and Jace, who were close by, apparently also having partaken of the magical mystery potion of bigger. Bigsby displayed his catch to the two of them, exclaiming, ”Lookit how tiny da runt is!” As he spoke, his grip loosened, his attention lost. A perfect opportunity for escape, if Malo wanted to make one.– Yes, yes... Viktor felt the potion working through him, exactly how he'd expected, and his mind opened up as it grew with the rest of him. He hadn't been made huge, but that was okay. He inhaled deeply through his nose, taking in the smell of the rain-streaked air... and immediately started coughing, a heavy fit that he knew all too well. He wanted to scream in dismay, but he had no time; he had only so many moments to jam his mask back over his mouth before things got bad.
Once he had regained his breath, and a bit of his composure, he found the desire to scream had fallen away, so he examined himself more closely. Taking inventory might be more constructive. He was protected from the rain by a clean white coat, the kind he'd seen scientists wear, that included a hood, which Viktor made immediate use of. As he lifted his hands up to throw his hood up, there was a distinct clink from within the jacket. Upon closer inspection, Viktor discovered an array of bottles hanging from a bandolier. Unlike the potions from the tables, though, these looked positively toxic: sickly green with various descriptions inscribed upon the glass. Bigsby had no desire to drink any of them, given what functions they apparently had.
Viktor looked back up just in time to see a boy with messy white hair pouring the potion upon the ground. He ran forward as fast as he was able, his breath thundering as he fell to his knees before the wet splotch that had once been a bright pink potion. He looked up at the boy, who seemed to be engrossed with his companions, a rather vicious-looking man and the brute he'd taken the bottle from in the first place.
Around panting breaths, Viktor cried, ”... Why...?! I... could have... perfected it!! … Used it to... make us all stronger!...”

Malo screeched as he was prized off of Issac and hissed rather loudly. "UNHAND ME, YOU FOUL BEAST!" He screamed. "Issac my love, I'll be back soon!" He dangled, legs and arms flailing, then turned to look into Bigsby's face.
He snapped at his fingers and hands, spinning around to see the other giants of his enemies, the hatred for them overpowering the pull of the love potion, giving him this weird half-brain thing. "LET ME GO! I MUST RETURN TO MY TRUE LOVE!" He pulled at the other's hand, flaring up his flame, then jerking around wildly, able to float on his own. But the other had a strong grip.
Then the flick came. He had never been hurt by an adult before. Not even preston or the guards had laid a hand on him. They just chased him and sometimes threw things at him. He screamed, knocked out of his infatuation, the pain enough to boggle his little brain.
It was rare for Malo to cry. But now he was wailing, holding his forehead and sputtering incoherently. As soon as the other's grip loosened, he wormed his way out, ripping his clothes a bit. Then, with a daring glint in his eyes, he zipped around the grown bigsby and landed a sharp bite on his ear, pulling back before letting go. Then, he dove for the table. He had to get away fast. He grabbed the orange bottle from where it lay on the ground and took a swig of it, exploding into light.

Isaac was so very afraid, however he was slowly composing his behavior. When Ryder suddenly bolted towards him and touched him the blue haired male twitched, about to slap the hand off, his fright over-ruling thought. However, the voice was worried, and it halted his slowly raising hand. His heart hammered, head attempting to turn towards the others voice.
"Please help me." He whispered, hand following the hand on his shoulder until he felt the others own shoulder, grasping it. "I can't see." Then Malo began his screaming once more. The Vaporeon shuddered violently, lashing out and missing when Malo clung to him. "Get him off!" Isaac screeched, flailing, attempting to blindly get away.
And then Malo was ripped away from him. Isaac, relieved, found himself pressing into Ryder, who was nameless to him. Simply a warm body that had spoken to him in concern, and this was something comforting. It calmed his fears long enough for the water-type to press closer to the fire-type, drawing his knees into his chest as he attempted to figure out a way out of the blindness that had swallowed him. He was afraid to get up, afraid he'd knock into someone or something, or be separated.
"Someone hand me the orange potion." Isaac sputtered, remembering the potion Zale had drank earlier. The one that took him away. He wanted to be away. He wanted Henrik. His Guardian would fix him! His Guardian would protect him.

Ryder's eyes widened at the boy's confession, understanding, suddenly, the panic and the fear. He relaxed a little when Malo was plucked from Isaac, shifting a little to wrap an arm around the boy's shoulders. Eyes hooding in concern he gently squeezed the Vaporeon's shoulder, swallowing thickly before glancing at the others; he wasn't really all that good at these sorts of things...
-----
Meanwhile Jace was still admiring his adult form, snorting at his friend's comments about his height. It frustrated him that he seemed so... Short, but he supposed that there were bonuses to not being as tall. After all he'd never accidentally hit his head on things and he had less mass to maneuver which probably meant that he'd grown short simply because he was trained to be agile.
"You don't look bad I guess." Jace countered, smirking at Logan before frowning and glancing over at Bigsby.
He watched the now adult Bigsby torment Malo with an arched brow, his expression unimpressed as he watched the exchange. When the other boy approached Jace leaned back slightly, distaste written across his features; he didn't really particularly want to be around Malo, but that didn't mean he was about to pick on someone smaller than him just because he could. Rolling his eyes he shot Logan and exasperated look before he approached the table, hand curling around the orange potion.
"Well, this is the answer, so... Bottoms up and see you on the other side?" he questioned, giving another smirk before taking a drink and disappearing like the others.
-----
When the Vaporeon asked for the orange potion, Ryder blinked, watching Jace disappear once he drank it; it must be the one that took them further. He glanced between then others that remained before smiling at the boy next to him even if he couldn't see it. Ryder hoped that maybe his smile showed in his tone as he adjusted his grip on the other boy, preparing to support him.
"Everyone seems busy." Ryder muttered, shifting a little into a crouch. "But I can help you over to it and we can both drink it, okay? I think it's the answer to the riddle. Let's just get you to your feet, okay? I've got you. I won't let you fall."

When the other wrapped his arm around his shoulders Isaac flicked his tail briefly, his heart calming further. He was safe, he felt, even if his safety wasn't brought to him but his Guardian. Ryder would do, the water-type was content as long as the other stayed close for the time being.
Then the other shifted. His head raised sharply, tensing as he prepared for the other to leave and for him to be stuck in this nothingness alone. However, instead the other shifted his grip, speaking in a mutter. The blue haired male bit his bottom lip, tail swiftly swishing against his side, curling around his hip as a form of comfort. Together? This worked just fine, perhaps even better than fine. At least he wasn't alone in this state of weakness.
"Alright." He shakily replied, shifting slightly so he could accept the others help without being to much of a bother, his heart pounding as he realized that anything could happen when they consumed that drink. One hand attempted to grab as he began to stand, stumbling briefly. He had never known how something as simple as standing could be hard without his sight. However, he trusted Ryder enough to keep to his word, and when he was able to stand he flicked his tail out, deciding to use that to make sure he didn't bump into anyone or anything.
His right hand drifted until it caught Ryder's shoulder, making sure he was still beside the other. He was ready now. However, he had forgotten his manners, though usually he never displayed them. "Thank ya. Names Isaac. I'll have to repay ya sometime, eh?" He cracked a shaky smile, turning his head to where he believed the other was. With this said and done, he moved slightly, hoping the other would direct him to where the drink was so he could find his way over.

Ryder gave a quick nod to himself, reaching out to steady the other boy as he moved to stand, relaxing a little when he barely stumbled. Smiling to himself his flaming tail flicked a little as he moved to gently grip the Vaporeon's shoulder, gently beginning to guide him towards the table with the potions. When he offered his name, the Ponyta grinned, excited to be meeting new people no matter the circumstance.
"It's good to meet you Isaac! Though it would be better if it wasn't like this, right?" he babbled, faltering before shaking his head. "Um... My name's Ryder. You... Don't need to repay me really."
It was nice to see the other boy smile though, but he got him to stop right next to the table. Biting his lip he glanced from the Vaporeon, to the now very close table and gently squeezed Isaac's shoulder. He needed both hands if he was going to drink the potion and the other would be alone for a short time.
"Hey, I'm gonna let go to grab the potion so you can drink it. Don't worry, I'll be right behind you, okay?"

In response to Jace rolling his eyes, Logan shrugged and reached for the orange potion right after him. "Hey! Ryder! Gonna leave without you if you don't hurry up," Logan told him. Without further ado, the Arcanine grabbed the orange potion and took a swig, his face screwing up as he did so: he wasn't entirely comfortable drinking it.

Now that he had the others name Isaac could relax. It was nice to have a name to the voice that was caring for him, and later he would be able to identify the other when (or if) is eyesight returned. Laughing at the remark Ryder made, his tail flicked in agreement.
"Anythin' is better than this, really." He paused in thought, frowning. "Well, not anythin', but ya get what I mean." When he was stopped his hand raised slightly by instinct, needing to feel something or else he felt out of place. His hands lowered only when Ryder spoke, tensing considerably. He didn't like the idea of being let go, however Isaac nodded.
"Aight." He responded firmly, tail twitching when he heard Jace speak. Ah, they weren't the only ones here, though by the sounds of it soon Jace would vanish as well. He only hoped that when he drank the potion he would end up with the others.

It was silent. Silent, and soft, and warm. There was nothing, at first, just darkness.
Out of the silence, a gentle voice emerged. She sounded faintly concerned. That's right, she.
Mind you don't drink the tea, or eat the cakes, okay? I wish I could help you... but I can't. Ask Hare where Hatter's gone, it's important! I'm so sorry the Dormouse isn't in his right mind...
The infants, as they were all returned to their original state now, stood inside a damp stone hallway. It was lit only by torches in brackets on the wall, though there were nice red carpets laid down underfoot. There were voices, drifting through the door.
"I heard her again." "Did you? What did she say?" "Kinda hard to say, I don't know... Can't figure out where she went. Uh, man, you know how the Hatter... got into that stuff a while back?" "You do take such an awful long time to get to the point, dear Alice," the softer, older voice replied. "Dormouse is into it too. He's outside. At the base of the tower, actually."
There was the sound of shuffling, and a man dressed in blue with fluffy, soft brown ears left the room, nearly walking right into the infants.
"Oh, hello, infants-- I was supposed to meet you and be your guide, wasn't I? I must have lost track of time again..." he looked apologetic, and very tired. "I am Faust, the current March Hare."
Alice peeked out after him, flipping his fingers through his cream mohawk, which wasn't styled up. It flopped back over, and he watched the infants with some trepidation. It was not, of course, the real Alice-- it was just that no one knew what his name used to be, before he claimed to speak for Alice herself. Most people just thought he was crazy, or a performer, or an outright liar. But here he was. "Anyone heard of the good old days, before the Dormouse was crazy? Because he was your guide out there, and I have it on good authority that is not how he used to be."
Faust, without speaking, began to descend the stairs. Alice hurried along behind him. "Well! It's showtime, kids-- ready to see what a faction leader can do?"
They went down several flights of curling stairs, passing many locked doors, until the ornate exit. Upon exiting into the Tea Party, it was ... very quiet. Empty. Covered in snow, as a remnant of winter in Diamonds. Until the man they'd now identified as the Dormouse appeared.
"Who wants to play THE FLOOR IS LAVA, kids?!"
[[OOC: Okay, so here's how this part will work! Anyone who entered for the named character... the Dormouse is the prize, but as you can see, he's still crazy right now. Tell Alice a story about how the Dormouse used to be like if you want to be truly considered; at the end, we'll pick the most suitable. You'll get an egg if you win, and you have to grow him up just like anyone else! Basically, right now he's an empty shell, because this personality is not his personality. Don't forget that the Dormouse is one of the named characters of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and that's why he gets a special title! For everyone else, you can post your reactions etc, we'll get this action-y wrap-up underway ASAP o uo! ALMOST DONE.]]
