Jeromy turned to Inari and then sighed before looking away. He wondered why she seemed to care if he went to jail or not. He'd kidnapped her and he knew that even if he didn't turn himself in the cops would see him with Inari and then would know he was up to something.
He felt Inari place her left hand on his shoulder and heard her say he was insane. "I kidnapped you, locked you in a room and now you broke your wrist." He said. "I've been in prison before... I know what it's like in there and it doesn't scare me any." He added.

Inari looked at him, narrowing her eyes. "You could do so much better..." she sighed, taking her had away. "Jeromy, you could have an education! A job! A girlfriend!"Me... she added and blushed at the thought. "You're throwing your life away...she sighed.

"What are you getting at? And why do you care so much about my life?" Jeromy asked Inari, completely flustered. He didn't know why it sounded like she cared so much. 'What is with her?' He asked himself.
He walked away from Inari and was still planning on turning himself in because he felt so guilty. "I won't turn myself.... Wait did you mention a girlfriend?" He said as he registered that Inari had said about him having a girlfriend. He had a thought come to mind, but he shook it away.

Inari's eyes went wide. "What do you mean; why do I care!?" she asked, frustrated. "I don't know why I care... I just do! I happen to care about people!"Nari huffed out. Why DO I care?she asked herself, chewing her lip, again. "Everyone deserves love..." she shrugged at his question. "Why are you so protective of it...?"she shook her head.

Jeromy just couldn't wrap his mind around Inari caring so much. No one ever cared for him; his mother had cared, but she was the only one who ever cared. When he heard about everyone deserving love he nearly choked while trying not to laugh. "Me? Someone that would love me? Ha! That's the funniest thing I've ever heard in my life!" He said sarcastically as he turned from Inari and thought to himself, 'No one's loved me. Not since my mother died......' His cold blue eyes softened as tears filled them. He didn't want Inari to see him so upset, but he knew that he wasn't going to be able to hide the fact he was crying for long.

Inari's expression softened. She walked up to him, "Jeromy... When you're open and caring like you were before, it wouldn't be hard to love you." Inari's cheeks flushed as she realized what she admitted. "You can really be sweet, and I'm a witness!"wmotion was pouring out of her voice.

Jeromy refused to turn towards Inari because his eyes were soaked and tears were pouring from his eyes like the waterworks. He never cried like this; unless of course he was talking or thinking about his mother. "You really think someone could love me and mean it?" He asked, his voice giving away that he was upset and crying. He cursed himself mentally as he heard the shaking of his voice.

Inari could hear the tears and sadness in his voice. She stopped around him, facing him. She brought her left hand up and wiped away his tears, one at a time. "Yes, Jeromy, I do..."she told him, meaning it sincerely. She could picture him happy, laughing and enjoying the company of...of a woman. A pang of jealousy shot through Nari, and she blushed again... It was odd.

Jeromy let out a shaky sigh as he saw Inari move around him so she was facing him. He was about to pull away, but thought that it may anger her. He was embarrassed beyond belief at that very moment that Inari had caught him crying.
"This is embarrassing...." He said, not looking Inari in the eyes. He then moved a bit closer to her, ran his fingers through her red hair and then hugged her. He was so nervous and was terrified that he was making a mistake. After about two minutes he pulled away from her and then looked down at the floor, his face extremely red. He would've kissed her again, just so he could taste her soft, luscious, red lips again. However, he thought that hugging her was pushing it far enough as it was.

Inari gave him a soft smile,"It's not embarrassing to cry, Jeromy. It's brave of you, to cry, as a guy...it's nice..."she told him, her voice gentle. "Jeromy, don't be embarrassed. Don't feel bad... You can hug me if you want, and you can tell me what's wrong..." she told him, "If you want!"she added quickly.

Looking up at Inari, his face damp from tears, Jeromy smiled a bit, but let it drop because he really didn't want to talk to anyone about why he was like he was. "After we uhm.... Take you to the hospital I suppose I can try talking a bit..." He said and then headed downstairs and to the front door, waiting for Inari to come with.
He thoguht about how Inari told him it wasn't a bad thing to cry and that he needn't be embarrassed. Though, he had always kept that bad boy image up around everyone he met, but then he met Inari and broke like a pane of glass.

Inari nodded her head. "Ok..." she said softly, after his retreating form. She wouldn't let him get arrested and go to jail, and she wouldn't let him loose his life because of her. She quickly went down and followed Jeromy to his car. She got into the passenger seat, "You aren't going to jail." was all she said, finality in her voice. ((Night!))

Jeromy sighed as he got into his Mustang. "If the cops see me with you, when they know I don't have a girl and have never..." He started and then stopped himself immediately when he admitted to never having had a girlfriend. Why did he admit to that? He could've said that he had more girlfriends than he could count, but no, he goes and tell this complete stranger the truth.
He started his car and said nothing the whole drive to the hospital. He didn't want to risk telling Inari anything else that he didn't want her knowing.

She didn't know why, but Inari was comforted by the fact that he didn't have a girlfriend. "Maybe I'll be the first...."she muttered, and her cheeks flamed. She hoped he didn't hear her. "I will be able to explain everything to them. You won't go to jail..." Inari assured him.

Jeromy was staring straight ahead and didn't look over at Inari on the drive to the hospital. However, he heard her mutter something about the first. "Did you say something?" He asked before hearing her say about how she would expalin everything to the cops.
"If I get arrested then that's what's gonna happen. There's not really anything you can do to get me out of trouble. I've been in too much trouble over the passed few years and it was said if I get in trouble again I'm going away for a long time." He told Inari, but he was still a bit greatful that she wanted to try helping him.
