❥ Mabelle smiled and held Alastair's hand tightly while the two walked through the door then through the gates.
[Time Skip to the next morning]
Mabelle opened her eyes and found herself sleeping in one of the bedrooms in Alastair's she sat up and grabbed her glasses from the end of the bed then pressed them against her face. "My hair smells like chlorine." Was all she managed to say without her morning coffee.

[[O.o.c]] Hope you don't mind the time skip it seemed like a good idea since they're going on the mission.

((It's alright))

Alastair was downstairs making breakfast. He had hot coffee on the table and was starting to mix a few ingredients to make some banana lemon pancakes. He had three bottles of syrup out on the table. One was the regular, one was blueberry, and the other was cherry. He hummed softly as he cooked.

❥ Mabelle sat at the edge of the bed for a while before finally walking down the stairs and staring at Alastair for a while before sitting down at the table and taking a sip of coffee,"You're up early. Have anything special planned today?"

Alastair shook his head. It's quite alright. I just enjoy the company. he said and smiled. He finished cooking breakfast and sat the plate of pancakes on the table. He got out plates, silverware, and napkins. He sat across from Mabelle and took a drink of coffee.

❥ Mabelle stared at everything on the table for a while comparing it to what usually happened with her roommates during breakfast and couldn't stop herself from chuckling. "Thanks for the food Alastair." She said in a sing-songy voice before grabbing a plate, fork, knife and finally putting two pancakes on her plate.

Alastair chuckled a little. It's no problem. Really. he said and got a set of dishes for his own use down. He retrieved two pancakes from the plate in the middle of the table.

❥ "It seems like you went through a lot of trouble Alastair." She cut the pancakes into fours,"i takes me hours to make anything besides cereal...I can make that in around thirty minutes." Mabelle said with a smile, she had never been good at cooking or baking. She began eating her pancakes without syrup since it was something she became accustomed to

Alastair smiled and shook his head. Its no trouble. Cooking is just one of those things that I'm happy to do. he said and drizzled a little syrup over his pancakes. He cut a piece out of the stack and took a bite.

❥ "Sooo...do you cook for every girl you meet?" Mabelle questioned looking down and pushing her glasses back onto her face, she would be upset if he did even though they had only met the other day. She looked up to Alastair her cheeks a bright shade of pink and smiled for no real reason waiting for the answer.
