"YOU CAN'T KILL US BECAUSE WE'RE JUST TOO STRONG. NO OTHER REASON," Jericho yelled back. Not to mention that killing him could lead to rather large consequences. Technically speaking.

Maybe Jericho was right. Maybe Freya couldn't kill him. Or them. Who in Odin's name was them?! Stupid Jericho and his 'we' and his crazy and his cape and his heat.
She couldn't kill him, but she most certainly could bite him. Right down on his arm, her teeth chomped, leaving a healthy looking teeth mark.

"AAAAAAAAARGGGGG!"
She bit him! By Tiamat's multi colored heads, she BIT him! Jericho snorted out smoke and pushed the Valkyrie back.
"WHAT IN THE BLAZING JACK WAS THAT FOR!?"

"Freya! Jericho!" Junko rushed over, nearly tripping on her dress as she pressed a hand against Freya's forehead and another against Jericho's arm. With a strained grunt she tried to push them apart. "Quit it! Jericho, I think it's time you check on the rest of prom, yes?"

Freya struggled against the hold Junko had pressed against her head. Her arms flailed out in circles beside her and all of her body weight looked pressed against that one hand. Just how strong was Junko, anyway?!
"LETS ME AT HIM!! LETS ME AT HIIIIIIM!!!!!!!!!"
Freya wasn't the murderer, but if she had any say in the matter, she was about to be.

"STAY OUT OF MY WAY JUNKO OR WE'LL BURN YOU WITH HER!"" Jericho roared. Bits of flame could be seen creeping out of his mouth has he spoke. Apparently he wanted to get at Freya just as much as she wanted to him.

Oh, there was almost a fight there. Heidla frowned. They say that those who are guilty will always look nervous; then isn't this guy who's making the most noise - the dragon one with wings and a wicked smirk - the murderer? And there was this Famine alchemist, Eisheth, she was pouring oil into the fire and asking too many questions. Does she know anything? Heidla hissed with disappointment: not that she cared, but why should anyone else but a death priestess know anything before others? Now, everyone was shouting. It looked interesting. The priestess put the book back on the shelf and shifted her position closer to the action. "So, what do you think?" she addressed the Famine ghoul.

Oh Queen! The students from the council were quite preoccupied with each other, actually they were ready to set a battle. No, it won't be a good thing, if actually somebody would be murdered here. Somebody, worth of mentioning, that's it. " Hey, why are you making such a commotion because of a gnome's death?... Is it a reason for Amityville students to fight?", Eisheth was quite surprised. She thought better of Amityville students, especially, those from the council. " Actually, if a person who killed the thing is in this room, why not stepping forward and admitting it?", she suggested. " I doubt anyone would give a **** about it, except may be sending you congratulations for a perfect timing". She was interested in how the students would react... And also another thing crossed her mind. Why not go and have a look at the dead body, in the first place?

Well, the alchemist was talking sensible things. Why all the fuss? As attracted to Halloweeners for personal reasons as she was, Heidla still didn't quite get the values right. So, they are upset about the death of the creature (the priestess didn't quite know which one; blame her attention was somewhere) - and they were really over-reacting. " Calm down, or you stop making sense. We shall know who the murderer is; Truth, the Revealer, will make the things plain in a flash of insight, so just calm down", she addressed the people in the room with n ironic bow. "We are not blaming anyone yet, but if you have yours suspicions, you can share it with us. We are the uninterested part here and now, we do not actually care about your stuff, but we can help - or at least hear you out". Well, she acted too calm and cool. Would it be alright?

Completely ignoring anything else that might be going on in the room, Ren tilted his head back at the horsewoman, arching a brow and giving her a slightly amused look, wings fluttering against his back.
"Not sure whether that's a compliment or not, but if it is, thank you," he said lightly. "I'm sure my ghoulfriend would agree that I am quite delicious."
Grinning cheekily and simultaneously bypassing any sort of uncomfortable air that might have stemmed from the predatory look, Ren merely rocked back on his heels and eyed the glass object once more before his gaze followed Eris'.
"Well, that's a start," he said lightly, and flicked his tail. "Unfortunately, that doesn't give us much."

"FINE!" Freya huffed, hastily putting her Sherlock cap back on and sticking her bubble pipe in her mouth. She blew several bubbles out of it as she brooded for a moment, before turning to the group with a grand, flourishing movement.
"Well, if we're not goings teh kills teh stupid draggins now, let's takes a looks at whatchyeh all found lookings through the room, ja?" Her other hand pressed against her hip, and she whipped out a laser pointer, flicking it on. Then she pointed it at a nearby whiteboard (?!) that had all the information written on it that the students and horsemen had found while searching (?!?) even though no one had ever seen her write a single word.
Or collect any information.
...Or bring out a white board to begin with.
What kind of voodoo mind tricks were being played here?

The oriental style rug brings color and life into the otherwise drab room. It smells of chloroform.
The books themselves are very well kept, ranging on topics from sewing to haunted treasures.
There is a well-written letter here, half finished. The wording is elegant, certainly written by a well-spoken individual.
There is a copy of the book 'The Little Prince' stuck amongst the rest of the books which house old literature such as 'Dracula' and 'The Wolf Leader' as well as a copy of Frankenstein. Some of the books look as though they'd never been touched except to be placed on the shelf.
The books in this case are color coordinated with all of them put together in color groups - except for one red book randomly stuck between the blue colored covers.
A clear ball within a cage, set upon a golden pedestal. The reflections within it are somewhat odd. Is that fog inside? You should look closer..
Trying to pick up the object fails, as a glass cage protects it. It is set upon the floor with a wooden frame. It seems dusty. Several drawers could be seen.
The scene painted upon it is serene. It looks recently moved..
The rug is ornate but small, set out in front of the fireplace. There is nothing underneath it.

The OOC So far, the initial search didn't come up with anything obvious. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't try again! With each passing round, clues might get more and more.. revealing. Continue looking in the same spot, or try somewhere else - it's up to you! WARNING: THIS IS NOT A NEW ROUND! Each round is 24 hours long, and ends with a death. No one else has died.. yet! Keep your eyes peeled- and if you aren't quoted here, feel free to do some clue hunting in this round! For those of you who were quoted, you will receive your points shortly, but must wait until the next round before searching again!

Jackdamnit. Jericho was losing it. Junko did her best to keep Freya away from the angered dragon, instead patting Jericho's shoulders. "Jericho, no. We do not burn students, especially ina library full of flammable books. Two of the horsemen cut in to try and help and she sighed. "It's...not..I mean..you can't just..." Her cheeks flushed and she frowned, looking away. He had a point but..why would any of them admit to something they didn't do? She didn't do it, she doubted Jericho and Shehk would do it.. Freya seemed to calm down and Junko sighed again, looking to Shehk and Jericho. "Guys, please. Let's just let them handle this and make sure no one's set fire or anything to the main event? Please?"

At all the commotion going on behind the curtain, a certain hunchback hobbled his way into the secret hidden room, a look of outrage on his face. They should be out enjoying the dance! Not messing everything up and throwing a big commotion! With a snort, he lurched to Jericho and Freya just as their argument seemed to come to an end, huffing as he gave the ghoul with the pipe a glare.
Eyes narrowed, his stitched lips in a thin line, he pointed sternly back to the door.

What an interesting smell! Chaya sniffed it again, thoughtfully, trying to identify it. Oh, she was getting so drowsy ...
... thud.
