Ginny looked down at her hands on her lap as she thought about how she was going to answer Chris. "I've... just got bills to pay," she said honestly, now staring out at the city lights. "I can barely afford my rent and groceries... and the station pays well-enough so I don't want to quit..." She sighed, wishing that her life could be so much different than it was. She wished she had been able to finish high school and go on to college. Maybe then she would have had more friends and and free time and eventually a better income. But at the same time, Ginny could not image her life without Alex. He was the center of her world and she did not want that to change. However, being up at the top of the ferris wheel with Chris made Ginny feel something she had not experienced for a long time: hope.

"I know all about bills..." he sighed as the ride moved again. They ended at the bottom where the operator told them to get off. He helped Ginny off the ride and took her hand. "Where do you wanna go next, Weas--I mean Ginny," he winked at her and squeezed her hand, teasingly. He was having tons of fun with Ginny. She was so east to talk to... Ginny enjoyed the rest of the ride and was disappointed when they had to get off. Chris took her hand again and she smirked when he started to call her Weasley. "Do you really want me to dye my hair red? Or should I just start forcing you to call me by my full name?" She stuck out her tongue and started walking toward the line for the roller coaster.

Ginny shook her head. "Maybe in the next life," she said, referring to Chris's ginger opinion. She let him drag her onto the ride, thankful that he did not ask what her full name was. As she strapped herself in, she turned to Chris and laughed. "You're making it sound like I'm a celebrity! I'm really not that well-know... am I...?"

"The president?" Ginny asked, not sure whether or not she should be flattered. "Well... at least I know I have some listeners." She smiled at Chris's excitement and turned to pay attention to the ride. As soon as the last car was over the hump, she raised her arms and screamed as the roller coaster sped down the drop and around a curve. After a few more drops and a couple moments of being upside down, the ride was over and Ginny and Chris were getting off. "Now what?" Ginny asked, still grinning from her roller coaster high.

Chris moved up in line and, soon, there was just one person before him. Ginny knew Chris was teasing but she feigned disappointment anyways. "I'm... I'm sorry..." she said, looking down at the ground and kicking at a bottle cap. She glanced back up at him to see his grin and smiled. "Sounds good." She turned around and looked for a table that was at least semi-clean and took a seat. When Chris showed up, Ginny took one of the napkins from him and wiped down the table before he set the food down. "Thank you!" she said, sliding her things closer to grab and nacho.

Ginny's jaw dropped when Chris dared to shove her nacho in her face. She did not know whether to be upset or to laugh it off. However, the look on Chris's face plus the cheese around his mouth as he laughed made Ginny relax and give a genuine laugh. "You're such a jerk," she said jokingly before eating the nacho that was still in her hand.
