"It's not a scene if it's just us in here talking, right?" Xiu said soothingly, "And everyone cries sometime. I just...want to know if I can help, even if that just means listening."
As she spoke, she gave Sio's hand a gentle pat. Riyo, she wanted to tell the banshee, was not a bad person. She was just clearly upset about...something that was not completely clear to the baku. All Xiu knew was that the bakeneko had shut herself into a bathroom cabinet and was crying.
She had been able to shake her head at Siobhan's suggestion--she hadn't thought that tuna would help--until Riyo spoke up. There was a moment of silence, and then she cleared her throat. "A-ah. Riyo, would you...would you like some tun--AH!" Xiu jumped a foot in the air when someone burst into the bathroom, whirling around with wide eyes to see Jericho standing there. She stared at him with surprise until he retreated, and then slowly turned back to the banshee and the...bakeneko-in-a-cabinet.
"...A-anyways. T-tuna? Will that make you feel better?"

Shehk rolled her head to one side to look up at Jericho while keeping her cheek rested against her arms. She looked away again almost immediately before she sighed, half burying her face into her arms.
"I'm sick of feeling like I'm pointlessly trying hard for other people." she finally answered.

That answer made Jericho a little uncomfortable as he was now wondering if this was partially his fault in a way.
"... What.. do you mean.. exactly?" he asked warily. He didn't know where this was going.

"He just..." Shehk sniffled, "and then just..." some vague arm gesture that didn't actually describe anything, "and it's my fault because I put so much damn time and work into trying to make things better when they didn't mean anything in the first place."

Shehk was making very little sense to Jericho right now. The dragon stared at her with a look of confusion, not sure what to make of any of this. With a sigh, he rubbed the back of his neck, trying to figure out what to say or do.
"Um... Who? And what did he do?" he frowned. This would have been so much easier for him if he had spotted her with Nuk at first.
That wasn't quite the case though.

That explained pretty much all of it actually. Well, at least enough so that Jericho wasn't completely lost as to what the hell was going on. Taking in a deep breath, he reached out and placed his hand onto her head.
"I don't know what happened between you two.. but you shouldn't let him get to you like this.."

Shehk leaned into his hand in an automatic canine-response. Hands normally meant pets, despite the fact she tried really hard to not act like a household pet.
"This is better than how I responded a year ago, if you can believe it." she almost laughed, "It just....it's sick that I try so hard and set myself up to get hurt even when I think I'm better for it."

"I could go get some tuna? Then Riyo wil not have to come out of her hiding!" Siobhan nodded and fled. One minute later, she had a whole platter of Tuna. OuO"Come on out~" She took up one tuna and waved it around the door.

Jericho petted her on the head lightly, frowning at what she had to say. If this was better... he hated to see how she acted when the break up first happened.
"Maybe you didn't really know it was going to end like that? I mean.. you shouldn't have to avoid him all the time because of what happened.. things... they're bound to get better, right?"
He might have been a little hopeful.

Other bathroom
Riyo honestly wasn't convinced that everyone cried. There were some people she just couldn't picture tearing up, but whatever helped Xiu sleep at night. "I-"
The sound of Xiu shouting in surprise also made Riyo jump, which made a loud thumping noise against the top of the cabinet. Oh.. That hurt.
... Now that she was thinking about pain, her feet hurt too. Why was..? Oh. OH she was bleeding! OH. Well. That explained a few things.
The feline didn't have to answer any questions. As soon as the smell of tuna began to waft through the air, two bloodshot cat eyes peered out of the cabinet.
Oh sweet Sally comfort food.
As if some kind of contortionist, the ghoul managed to unfold herself and crawl right on out without knocking over any of the chemicals. First priority: Tuna. Second priority: Glass in foot.
And there Riyo went, nomming away shamefully with her ears folded back like some kind of whipped kitten. In a restroom.
How the mighty did fall.

"I don't want anything to end badly. I just..." she scratched her face staples. "I like to think things will turn out alright, it's just... a real bummer when I realize I spent a year trying to be upgraded from a pretty a** to chase to.... I dunno.... something I guess...."
Something being a ghoul who had left the impression of 'Avoid at all costs' apparently.

And Jericho was a little confused again. This was a little different from when he last had a breakup, but that relationship barely lasted a month anyway, so it didn't have as much of an impact he supposed.
"I don't know who gave you the impression that you're some pretty a** to chase. I mean.. you're a real good friend and you have a lot of people who care about you. Hell.. I'm sure if Sammy found out about this, she'd be trying to knock out Nuk right now."
That was just going off of how she was talking when she was getting on his a** for Shehk.

...Where did Sio get all that tuna.
The baku's mouth was agape as she stared at the platter in awe, but she snapped to attention when she heard the creak of the cabinet door opening. She said nothing as the ghoul made her way out of the cabinet, though her tensed shoulders visibly relaxed. Oh, good, at least they had gotten her out of there. She shot an appreciative smile towards the banshee--tuna was a good idea!--only to have the smile dropped from her face the moment she noticed a streak of red on the floor.
"You're bleeding," She murmured dumbly, eyes wide as she took in the state of the bakeneko's foot. Oh Jack, uh.
"F-first aid kit. Is there a first aid kit here?"

Shehk couldn't help but laugh at the comment about Sammy.
"Sammy has taken it upon herself to try and be my relationship warden. I think she'd punch Nuk just for being here if she knew he was around." she answered.
"I guess...I know this is kinda stupid, but I really felt like I'd kind of.. fallen short of being 'worthy' of anybody's attention after he dumped me, y'know?" She ruffled her hair. "Maybe it was some sort of psychological thing, but.... I dunno, maybe it was just that the relationship wasn't a healthy one either."
