I'm glad you found somewhere to watch that season! =D I've been thinking of doing so xD
You know, I think you're onto something. We need to find a way to spark what used to be here. I used to see Ghosty and Charlemain at least once every day or two, la bijou had a post every time it was feasible, Prince was the same way with posts, I was on fire, doozi was still even here, anna was less of a lurker, pineapple posted just slightly more, I never saw Cherry, and when I did...well nevermind that
Hell, even 3mo is posting way less.
I miss everyone. I miss having a guild where I always had somewhere to post.
You know what Pollvolution never used to be? Stagnat. It usedto even beat BURN on my list of guilds whenever I would refresh.
Now? I have to wait ten-thirty minutes just for some minor activity sometimes, WHEN PEOPLE ARE ACTIVE!

Would you like me to send you a link to where I've been watching it? I've found a site with most of the classic Who on it.
The question really becomes, why was everyone posting this much, and why did they stop? True, bringing in fresh blood will help, but if we can keep people's interests it will be better for new and old members alike.

So, everyone...what did make you post so much? I posted for a few things...I eally did enjoy the group. Toon and Kitty really interested me, I loved watching Prince's shenanigans, Cherry and Doozi made me bow to female-kind, and 3mo was just the bees knees.

Well, to be honest; while a lot of it was just having time on my hands and habit, the reason I kept coming back here is that I formed relationships with you and you made me feel important, or at least interesting. We all post less when there's less posts to reply to, which results in even fewer posts to reply to... it's a vicious cycle.
Not to drop back to my old idea, but perhaps an infusion of new blood might help on that count as well. New members with new thoughts spark new conversations between old members.
Honestly, my only other thought is starting "Kitty's corner", a talk show in forum format where I start discussions on various subjects that in my head everyone must have an opinion on.

Regarding us as a guild:
You all are pretty much the only reason I'm still on gaia. I mean, sure. I occasionally lurk the GD and the GE. But that might be once--twice a month. I check this guild daily to see new happenings. I know it doesn't seem like I'm contributing all too much anymore, but I always pop in when I have something to say or add to a discussion that I feel is relevant, which often is the case. I do often just stop by threads though and run through the comments, see how everyone's doing, and get on. And I'm sure a lot of you notice that me, just like the other males of our crew, frequent the rant subforum regularly.

There is two threads I post in outside of guilds. One is a roleplaying game, the other is the out-of-character thread for the roleplaying game.

Unless you'd like a list? Because I can come up with some right quick, if needbe.. haha. would be real helpful >.< Remembering that I last played in TPD back in Dec 2007, so I'd only know the oldies. I used to play in there with ze_womanizor and ~[shy_school_fool]~. A quick list of names I remember (off the top of my head) are: loke, ijar, cherry_slushy, meowmeow1, 13laster, stargategate, dawnee, fairwyn, kittywitch, sukikage, fyorasilverwolf, ryouhyuga, broken_toy, mistressouka, ebil_panda, pryrate, meep, mr.gaylord, and zero_darkness. There is another person who I can't remember the name of too. He had a black tophat and a monicle and was real close with ijar and fairwyn...
Ah, that would explain why so few of us are known. I know that myself and IvyStarling weren't around until 2008.. at least I think she wasn't.. >>;
Anywho. Out of the list you posted, a few of them are in this guild, even if they haven't been seen in forever..
Cherry, obviously, is still here. Stargate's mules and dawnee are in the guild somewhere, but haven't been around in a bit.. Kitty's still here. Sukikage hasn't been seen in almost a year now.. Mr. gaylord is the same.. And all the rest either aren't in the guild, or have since changed their names... But loke will not ever be found in this guild, as far as I know.
Now then.. onto that list. A LOT of the members here came from tpd, but probably after you left.. These are also going to be off the top of my head.. ^^;
Cherry; Kitty; Ivy_Starling; Zephynoir (or as he used to be known, X_Roland_The_Gunslinger_X); Toontastic (Or as she used to be known, Cartoonxlover ..or something like that. I do good enough to remember what it said. >>; ); Brase (or Esarb, depending upon which account..PRETTY sure he came from tpd..); pineapple07 ; Ghostbuster1; non-king 3mo ; Prince Interrobang ; La Bijou ; Kinou_Himmel ; Lord Charlemain Richards (..I can't remember for certain if he came from tpd or not..); boo u suck; itzadoozi (hasn't been on Gaia for a bit.. or at least, hasn't posted..) ; PinkDawg (hasn't been around in a long time, either)

Will our guild fall into a black void? What do you think we, as a guild, could do to prevent this from happening? We already have plenty of members (not that I wouldn't be pleased to meet new people) who are intelligent, fascinating and fun to talk to. The fact is, most of them never post! I think that's the real issue to be addressed, if we want a more active guild; how can we get our members more excited about participating? wow. never picked you to be the sewing type >.<. What do you make? Do you sell your stuff too? aaaaaaaaaaaaand I never picked you to be a who cultist either xD. lol. Then again, i never picked me to be a pony cultist either xD I guess some big stella s**t went down in space and the radiation screwed with our heads o.O EDIT: It's also pretty funny how y'all talking about saving the guild and s**t, and only 6 ppl have hit the vote button xD

Oooh, I've been mentioned about four times, I feel special.
@Zeph: The reason I haven't been on in a while is because I'm getting bored of gaia. About the only thing I do is check in with the guild and feed my fish. But I'm glad that you've noticed my lake of input.
I like that Kitty's corner idea.
