The Misty was fine with the slip, it wasn't personal after all but the extension of an invitation to judge the bake-off?! "You'll need a third judge to play tie-breaker if you're roping him in," Before's tone suddenly turned clipped, teal eyes focused firmly on the Phoenix that was on its last leg. With a grunt, Before smashed it into dissipation.

Rep was busy brushing dirt off the stupid jumpsuit as he gave Harrison a nonplussed look. It was a problem. He didn't like Before, the dude felt like prey all the time, like someone he should be giving metaphorical wedgies just for existing. But cakes. Cakes and pies.
"I'd probably be too harsh a ******** judge." he stated.
Rin's yell made him look over and equally, if not just a bit louder yell back. "WHAT?"

The bird died so Rin dropped her hand, "Nevermind!"
She shuffled a bit to lay out more comfortably to give Sasha a smile, "well, that was fun! Got any ouchies that need tending?"

Sasha grunted, ignoring Rin's suggestion that they work with Rep of all people. No way. Not him. "I might just... wait for Jerry, I don't know." She was starting to feel a little anxious about her performance, and she didn't want to deal with Rep's mouth.

Madison had taken a well-deserved break and returned, eyes narrowed with determination. No more damn birds nesting in her ******** closet. No more. It seemed others had gotten there first, though, and they were looking kind of banged up. "Hey! I got a set of runic bandages here if anyone needs them!" she called out as she approached the group, one hand resting on the hilt of one sword.

Tori heard Before call out but it was all to late in taking another hit from the fire bird. "I'm doing good," she answered Harrison with a little smile. It was good to see that bird fall but it was now a good time for a heal before something else came along.

Rin gave Sasha a fond little smile as she patched her shield up a bit.
"That's alright, I understand. I'm just not sure what we can do until then~" her words were almost purred out contentedly.

Dakota stretched now that the bird was gone. Coming over to Ariane and taking her hand in his, kissing the knuckles with a twinkle in his eyes.
"Anytime you change your mind Ariane, You know where to find me." He trotted off to see if anyone else needed some special attention.
For a brief moment, he wanted to see the little birdie with the musical barette in her hair but then....he got a chill as he saw Rin too. Like she had an aura that said she'd KILL HIM.
Best to find the girl when she didn't have her sexy Dragon with her.
"Hey Harrison." Dakota waved to the moon hunter and looked at Before, "Sup Before. How you guys doing."
Ah s**t, he couldn't take it. ******** Dragons and Princess's. Dakota was Dakota and he had never NOT turn down hitting on girls.
EVER.
"Hey there Pretty ladies, did I hear someone need some heals over here?" He grinned, tucking his hands in his pockets, "I got the magic touch in case any of you ladies are.....feeling bad." It was followed by a sure fire grin.
Yes his pickup lines were the worst....

"Struck out, huh?" Harrison asked Dakota sympathetically. "Don't give up yet. We just haven't had a show from the band yet, is all."
He took out his tin, hauling Rep over to stick a glowing bandaid on his arm as another haunting cry echoed down the hall.
"Good, because I intend to be very thorough in my judging. It's something I take real serious." He grinned at him. Before mentioned some new judging stipulations. "A third? Well hell, where we gonna find a third guy?"

Rin sat up a bit to squint at Dakota thoughtfully. She knew what he was up to but... he was terrible at it. Not a threat she determined before relaxing into a smile.

Dakota blinked as both the girls actually just...watched him.
He gave them a sheepish smile.....
"Well actually I meant.....that I could heal the body and heart...with my love touch." He rubbed his neck, "You know....like..."
So much for Eagerness and Confidence and STAMINA.
"I don't actually have any bandages..."
Apparently he failed at that too.
