Maximus looked at her before he said "You run out of her in your animal from after I throw a few...Distractions. I tell them that what they saw was simply a manifestation of the spirit and that it will do no harm." He took a moment to catch his breath and let her understand what he said before he added "However you should avoid staying around here afterwards."

Sempri soon found out from the townspeople that the mercenaries had caught their demon, and had returned to the forest in chase of a vampire. He headed into the forest after them, thinking of ways to defend himself against the vampire. He was sure it would work out.
As he neared the forest a group of armed men, who he knew to be the mercenaries, came strolling back out. They were unharmed and, out of curiosity, Sempri asked them what had happened. They said they did not remember why they had entered the forest, but had suddenly been overcome with a strong urge to put aside their job and return to their families.
Sempri was suspicious. They spoke as if they were being commanded. He was sure it was magic of some kind. 'First a vampire, now a spell-caster,' he thought. 'What is going on in this town?' It was no bother to him, though. In fact, with their guards down his own job would be even easier. He let them pass and, with their backs turned to him, took out his dagger. He charged through their group, cutting a path for himself, ignoring the screams and the spray of blood.

"If you wish to avoid something like this again." Maximus answered her question. He could understand not wanting to leave your home, but sometimes it is unavoidable. "You could stay around here but I believe that they will kill you if you are caught again." He added as he cut a quick glance towards the door, Need to wrap this up soon. Only so long before someone starts to ask a few questions.

Nami place a hand on his cheek. "Thank you," she said softly. "I know no other place other than the woods here. Where will I go?"

"If you wish to find others similar to yourself, then I would suggest up north west. I read an old book that hinted towards a group of shapeshifters living up there somewhere." Maximus answered her question, but he wasn't sure that she was looking for more shapeshifters. "Other than that there are more woods to the west and south of here with few humans. You might run into some elves, but last I heard they understood better than humans." He realized that humans often refused to believe what was in front of them, and they hated something unknown. He however spent most of his life picking at the unknown and he found that it was quite interesting.

"I am the last tiger Shape-shifter alive," Nami whimpered. "We are hunted for our pelts. I was safe here, no Elves and the Humans feared me. Elves like our pelts as well."

"That is a shame." Maximus said, as she told him that she was the last. Her pelt looked good, but he couldn't understand killing them to get them. He now understood better how she treated and acted towards humans. He thought a moment before saying "Well, to the north and to the east you have humans. Although...." He was trying to remember what was south of here. He told her "To the south there are a few human villages before you hit the mountains, after that I have no idea what you will find down there." He was thinking about what could be down there and he felt pulled towards there to see what was down there.

"No I didn't." Maximus said as he looked to see how long before the sun went down. Not to long before it is dark. She could slip away then as she suggested. It could work. He was lost in thought a moment before he pulled himself out of it and said "Maximus Solaris."

"If you must." Maximus said with a small shrug of his shoulders. He knew that quite a few had trouble saying Maximus, so he would allow it if it was unavoidable. He wasn't sure if they would get the time to know each other better.

Maximus closed the door, and walked to the center of the room. He sat down on the floor and laid his staff over his cross legs. He slowly closed his eyes, while he rested his hands on his staff.
