Candace lifted one of the bouquets to take the shirt she had removed and put it back on, not feeling too keen on returning to Deus topless despite Lance not minding it. So she'd been right about the silent alarm. Damnit. At his mild scolding she frowned, fixing her shirt. She did like the florist, she'd been nice. But that florist would never see her again. She wasn't coming back to this place for anything. "I kept a pair of sunglasses on for that very reason, actually." Candace said quietly, pouting like a scolded child. "With them on I'm just another pretty she-looked-hispanic-maybe-black-but-definitely-dark-skinned woman with short black hair. I like to think my eyes are a somewhat defining feature in a physical description." She shrugged, picking up her tank top again to give it a sad look. She hoped the blood game out; she really liked this top.
"I have no intention of ever coming back to this place. No skin off my nose if I'm a wanted woman in a town I don't even know the name of...unless we're in Texas." She gave him a pointed look. She was supposed to be dead. They damn well better not have been in Texas. "I'll do better next time." Candace promised as she rolled up the tanktop and slipped it under the bouquets in the basket, carrying it with one arm and stepping away from the table. "Learning experience. At least I didn't get arrested, yeah? That's certainly a good thing..."

Lance shrugged. "Cops go off of anything and everything. How many other maybe-hispanic-maybe-black girls with short hair are there around? How many also have sunglasses? It's possible that you may have made life difficult for some of them, depending entirely on how many cops are available to do some sniffing. It may not affect you much, but down the road..." He shrugged. "Doin' the crime may be fun, but doing the time? I've never been there myself, but it doesn't stop me from making sure no one else goes because of me."
The portal activated, Lance gestured for her to go first. "The location of this place is for me to know, and you to completely forget. We're going to close this place down once we get back. Now -- off you go!" He waited for her to go in first, passing through it after her.
A moment later, the portal deactivated. Not long after a runic technician would activate it one last time to pass through it and disassemble it, moving it to another location or to withdraw completely from the area. As far as Lance was concerned, he didn't care.
