Where ze kenies at?
I decided to open an event to show that i am not dead, but just been flooded with items i had to do first.

Oh my, yes. She's leader of the Tengu's and I'd assume the strongest, but you never see her and she's only mentioned of. I wonder what powers she'd have...

I'm saying she because it's Gensokyo :P

Oh, I know, right? Her wind spells must be incredible compared to other Tengu's and her speeds unmatched... I wish there was more known about her crying

I want to see her in game, but she's the tengu's boss, so she probably the busiest person in all of Gensokyo 0_0;;

She must be a legend, she and Kanako came to an agreement about the youkai mountain or something along those lines, so she is very important.

Most accounts I've seen regarding Lord Tenma says that they were male /shrug. But, as previously stated, there isn't much known about him/her other than a few fanon-made theories. I've heard some say that Tenma was around during or not long after Gensokyo's creation, and when the Dragon appeared. They could be the very first Tengu to appear in Gensokyo, or at least the leader of the first group who traveled there (and obviously kept the position).

As for Tenma's powers, we can certainly speculate: Aya has power over and wind and incredible speed (though that seems to be a traight shared among them all; she may just be faster), Momiji has telegnosis (kind of a built-in radar) and super-sight and hearing, and Hatate has thoughtography. Given this known sample, one could say that Tengu share a predisposition towards clairvoyance-type powers as well as those that heighten natural physical abilities and senses, making them more than superhuman when compared to humans and lesser Youkai.

That being said, if Tenma has kept his/her position as Leader of the Tengu for who-knows-how-many-thousands of years, reigning victorious over any who may have contested said position (as I'm sure a few must have), then s/he must be superhuman when compared to the Tengu themselves, and must be considered in a much higher class all on his/her own. As for his/her specific powers, I cannot say for sure, but I'd imagine they'd be a well-rounded fighter of not only great power, but great skill and cunning, able to lead the Tengu with wisdom and authority and affirm their place, indefinitely, as Leader of the Tengu.

...I've probably given this character more thought in the last 10 minutes than I have in my entire career as a Touhou fan X x;;

Or...we could just simply say 'Tenma is the most powerful Tengu' and leave the real mystery to Male or Female question.
Now speaking of Tengu, i once read a doujin that had a brilliant depiction of male Tengus with the long noses. Some were awesome.

The doujin in question was made by Yakumi Sarai
Souku no Kiba was the name.
In any way, When I mean long nose, i mean more or less the depiction of males with their noses being normal human noses but a bit longer than normal.

Also for Tenma, it does not matter to me.
