Here's the latest 2 fighters.

This one's a fighter, pure and simple. It's not very original-looking, but I like it. It's got 2 standard laser cannons, 2 heavy cannons, and then I don't know what the turret above the cockpit is supposed to be, yet. Maybe some sort of ion or plasma pulse cannon. A rapid-fire weapon that relies more on a large number of shots for a hit than accuracy (maybe it could fire twice or 3 times a turn, but has a lower to-hit?). The bronze part under the nose holds a missile/torpedo launcher, and the pods on the wingtips are also missile launchers. It's supposed to have 5 missiles in each wingtip pod, and then 10 missiles/torpedoes for the "chin" launcher. It has one very large main engine, and then 2 smaller secondary engines on each side of the main one. There are also 2 boosters attached to the wing roots. This thing should be fast, very fast. And very agile, too. It has some shielding, but not enough to take a whole lot of punishment. A couple glancing hits is about all. One direct shot from anything with any kind of power behind it will strip the shields completely away. Something I'd like to prototype for this thing is a "g-diffuser" kind of like they had on the old Starfox 64, that deflects minor energy weapons. It does a really tight barrel roll, and a temporary reflective shield forms that deflects light- and medium-strength energy bolts. Since it's not too strong in the defensive area, I thought that would be an interesting concept to try.

This one's a gunboat, and it's loaded. I mean L-O-A-D-E-D. One pilot, one gunner. The nose cannons are heavy laser cannons, and the big ones on the side are capital-starshp-class heavy cannons. It has 6 normal laser cannons in the smaller rotating turrets around the cockpit. The missile launcher above the cockpit is for smaller missiles, it holds 70 at a time and has 3 reloads. The launcher under the nose holds larger missiles and it holds 50 at a time. It only has 1 reload. The odd-looking thing behind the "chin" missile launcher is a torpedo launcher that fires energy torpedoes that are supposed to be the most powerful thing it carries. Maybe on a par with mini-nukes. It only has 6 torpedoes. I wanted this one to have a targeting computer that could track up to 30 targets at once for all the missiles. I don't know if that's realistic, though. I forgot to add some maneuvering jets on the nose and on the fins, so just pretend that they're there. It has 5 main engines, and then the directional thrusters. I want it to be fairly maneuverable, almost like a fighter. It's not supposed to be a ponderous gunboat, it's supposed to be a quick one. It's that interesting grey color because I wanted it to be armored. It doesn't have any clever defensive things other than heavy shields and armor. It's designed to take almost as much as it can dish out.

o_o Wow.. Your models are awesome.. and loaded with tons of weaponry. o_o;; It makes me begin to wonder where all the engines and propulsions are in them. LoL. Or any escape pods or anything else that may be vital outside of combat. Otherwise, I think they're great. Maybe we'll try using these in the RP sooner or later.

Well, I designed them for pure combat. Not any real cargo or passenger capacity. I don't think they need escape pods, unless you want to have the entire cockpit eject instead of just the pilot. If space is a problem they can always be made larger, or I can modify the design. I don't like wasted space, so my designs sometimes get cluttered. Eh. I really want to refine that blue fighter...maybe even build a prototype once I get it finalized.

Okay, here's the next iteration of the figher design. It's more of an interceptor actually...fast, maneuverable, light shields and heavier weapons. 2 disruptor cannons instead of lasers, and twin torpedo launchers with 10 shots each. It has 3 hi-temperature experimental engines that deliver a lot of thrust with low mass. Hence the frontal view showing all of the intakes. They're more for cooling than intakes, actually...since its in space, and there's no air for the engines...yeah. I was also playing around with a Vanguardian Axis logo on the tail...it kind of sucks, so I'm going to either give up or do a new one.

These next two are images that I found randomly searching for Star Trek stuff. They're...interesting. I might incorporate some stuff into a new capital ship.

Sounds good to me. I'll figure out the specifics, like systems, etc. and maybe draw a schematic. Or something.

This one's an interesting concept. It has a detachable booster pack to increase its range. It also has a wierd energy weapon thing on the dorsal fin. I have no idea what it is, but it looks like it could be like a plasma cannon or something.
