Senga wasn't sure that Jay headbutting an alpaca was something he ever wanted to see again.
But now it was time to wrangle the stupid thing back home it looked like, and the real race had begun.
So it had come to this.

Jay let out a high-pitched cackle.
She must have imitated it from some loser during her time in the Lairs.
"IF YOU CAN HOP ON AND STAY ON I JUST MIGHT. BUT OTHERWISE? NEVERRRRR~!"
Somebody was having too much fun with this.

Senga winced at how loud and crazy Jay had become.
Maybe her time here was taking its toll on her brain.
Did Jay even have a brain?
Senga leapt forward and landed behind Jay.
It was time for the Bucking Alpacas Finale - Two Person Rodeo.

Kiwi dusted himself off as he rose, noticing the awkward moment as the alpaca was wrangled into submission. At least that queen-forsaken beast had finally been managed. Needless to say, he was ready for a warm bath and nice relaxing walk through the reserve after this all-but-meaningless charade. This battle had put him in an ill mood, and he needed to wind down. With a quiet nod of farewell to the others, he took to the trees nearby, leaping from branch to branch on his way back to the reserve. Mission accomplished.

YEAHHH TWO PERSON RODEO! Jay could definitely live with this, especially when she was the one in front and driving this gosh darn alpaca. She was about to wave the other horseman over--ooooh was that horseman from Famine?--but he had already left. She frowned. :C Huh.
Oh well. Jay excitedly waved both of her arms at King and Roch. "We're gonna take this thing back to the head priestess, okay? No hard feelings!" She let out a cheery tweeter before urging the alpaca away.

"Well, jack, there goes my ride," Roch said, only to yawn loudly. "I'm gonna go get a smoothie or somethin. Wanna come, King?" he asked the ghost dog. "I know this place that's got some really awesome flavors!"
And sure, there was a third alpaca, but he'd lost interest. The smell was a bit too much.

Mmur nodded again, standing up straighter when she told him she was glad he had been there. His brain added "to defend me" even though it wasn't actually anywhere near the statement, and he felt even better. Purposeful. It hadn't been long since the world they had known had been obliterated, and he hadn't spent nearly enough of his time here doing his job. The horseman had been about to rattle off some pleasantry or another and be on his way when he heard her mention his clan, or rather, not his clan but the clan she thought he belonged to. A month or so ago he might have bristled and offered her a chilly reply, but, well, they were all part of the same clan now, right? If a priestess of Death thought he measured up to a giant like Shikoba, he wasn't going to take offense. He leaned slightly closer to the horsewoman, but not too close. "I'm a soldier of Famine," he stated with a conspiratorial grin, "But I shall take your words as a compliment. We must work together now, and I am happy to be of assistance whenever you require."Wyntre IceBlade I suck so hard and kept putting off my horseman replies fffffff! D: Sorry about the wait!

Smerdle heart slow replys don't bother me smile Erintis blinked taken back a little, she really had been shut away in the temples for too long she didn't even know the different clans. "oh! I am so sorry I did not mean..that is I did not realize I thought..."She smiled slightly when she heard his words, compliment? Well if this soldier was calling it a compliment and willing to help her later on. "Well I will be forever grateful to any help you could possibly give me! I am not cut out for...this"Waving her hand around indicating everything, "I am much more accustomed to my temples..." Looking around she looked back at him, "If you perhaps have time I would love to learn about the clan of famine...since I know so little about the others. And like you said we are one clan now we should know one another."And I should keep all the records she added to herself. What good would their history be if someone didn't keep the records.

"Yes. I would be happy to tell you how Famine used to be." Mmur blinked, and although his lids only remained closed for a moment, he was surprised to see a flash of his former life in the darkness. Hadan's golden eyes, bright with mischief. Pheris's posture as she canted proudly toward him, her hooves ghosting over the sand. Little Sussara holding her first kill. All gone. He would never see them again. Still, for some reason, even though they meant more to him than anything in this new world so far, remembering those he loved didn't hurt nearly as much as he thought it should. He glanced at Erintis's alpaca, his smirk still lingering. "You can tell me more of Death as well, maybe starting with why your head priestess likes these animals so much. But for now I leave you to your business," he continued. "It was nice beating up alpacas with you."

Erintis nodded happily, he was willing to share about Famine. This was such good news. Looking at the alpaca and then back at him she giggled, "Oh yes, I would LOVE to tell you about death. As for the high priestess...well I am a little unsure about her motives currently."Bowing her head to him slightly and in respect, "I thank you very much for your help. I hope we meet again soon."Grabbing the rope on the alpaca she slowly turned to leave, and take the blasted creature with her. If she saw another one it would be too soon she thought. [[Exiting]]
