By this time Nona was screeching for her chance, begging for release. Sasha dove forward and promptly did what she did best. Tripped over her own frickin' feet.Rolling on to her back, Sasha thumped her fists onto the ground and screeched. Loudly. Hissy fit? Yes. Disgraceful? That too. "This is making me so frickin' angry!" Jerry frowned as Sasha crumpled, concern written all over his face, "Harrison, you take it down," He finally snarled, lowering his weapon to limp to her side, "Sssh, it's ok, Sasha just... just calm down, alright? Backup's here, no one's hurt..."

Growling, irritated with life and monsters especially, Syd stepped forward and shot as many arrows as she could--only to watch them go straight through the monster without so much as a dent. It reminded her of hitting that one male--the pretty boy in the beautiful outfit--
"Well... damn." Then she looked at Harrison. "Do you want me to guard you?"

Sasha wanted to just hug Jerry forever, basically. But she grit her teeth, put her big girl panties on, and went in for another attack. There was something entirely too unsatisfying about striking a monster - and really putting some oomph behind the attack - only to find that the damage that had been done was like. Minimal at best. "Aw, come on," Harrison trailed after him, the grin slowly fading as Jerry refused to do anything but offer more moral support. He stood by Jerry and gave Syd a half-hearted shrug.

Harrison groused but went over to stab the thing.
It cuffed him. "Ow! What the hell! You little s**t," he said, and very definitively punched his blade through what remained of its foggy, shaky body.
It broke up, and the air cleared.
He rubbed his shoulder.
"Is that all? Or are you guys going to be crying and back-patting for another hour?"

"I'm done," Sasha grumbled, turning to Jerry with a warning look. It was one that said, very blatantly, 'do not even frickin' go there.'
"Thanks. For your help. I .. I mean it." She directed her words of thanks to Jerry and Harrison both, even if they tasted bitter on her tongue.
"Can we go back now?"

The whispers burned away in the back of his head, but quickly, Roar took that as his queue to add a few whispers of his own. His expression cooled, and he straightened up with the weapon firmly resting on his shoulder as he tried to feign indifference. "Alright, then." He cleared his throat, jaw set as he limped back down the hall from where they had come.
"N-no thanks necessary."
